Understanding the importance of mothers and babies getting the right breastfeeding support I started Makana Breastfeeding In home lactation consulting to serve mom’s and babies with excellent lactation care.

Business Owner

For many years I’ve studied all things related to pregnancy, birth, babies, children, parenting, and breastfeeding. I became a La Leche League Leader 9 years ago and have been helping mothers and babies breastfeed ever since. I’m an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) giving me an in-​depth knowledge of all things breastfeeding.

Having my 2 kids sparked a huge passion in me to help moms and dads go through their parenting journey, hopefully a little easier than I did. I’ve lived all over the United States; helping moms from all walks of life and cultures. Currently I live with my two children in Naperville, IL. My other passions include Taekwondo, stand-​up paddle boarding, yoga, and traveling.
