I called to schedule my appointment and was told to use the online service. I was called and rescheduled on twice from my chosen time.
I finally did arrive early to my scheduled time and Alicia, whom I booked with, never even showed up to the salon. I waited for 30 minutes while the other stylists tried to get a hold of her on her cell. I finally left, since it was very obvious she was not going to make the appointment time she had called and told me to be there for.
She has my cell phone number and has not reached out to me since (she missed our appointment 3 days ago).

Groupon for Alisha. Had trouble scheduling with her at first. Place is clean and comfortable. She worked quickly but had a detail oriented approach. Sweet smile and polite conversation. Most importantly gave me what I asked for and offered some great advice. I’m a happy girl.

Let me begin my saying my hair was a HOT MESS. I had just moved from living on HI and my hair was fried beyond belief; and at least 3 different colors (bleach blonde, yellow, and my natural brown). I bought a groupon with the thought that anything would be better then nothing. I was blessed by the hair gods (or goddesses in this case).
Not only is Shelley professional and friendly, but she does her research on products and on the chemistry and science of hair. She really knows her stuff. She transformed my hair from something I wanted to shave off to a cute style and color. Not only does my hair look better but it feels so nice and healthy. When my boyfriend saw me after my cut he exclaimed «wow, you look so good!».
I highly recommend seeing Shelley. I had no problems contacting her to make an appointment or after words to ask questions pertaining to appointment.
Shelley is passionate and hard working and it shows in her work!

This review is for Shelley Rivera. I bought a groupon for $ 39. I thought what a great price! I got scheduled with very little delay. I researched my cut and color and brought a few pics in to show her. After my cut she showed me how the back looked. I asked her if it’s how I wanted bec it didn’t look quite how I expected. She enthusiastically said yes. So, she continued to dry and style. I was also surprised when she told me it would be an additional $ 55! By that time I had been there for 3 hours and I just wanted to go. When I got home I took a mirror to look at the back of my hair. It looked NOTHING like I wanted! I even showed it to my daughter and husband and they agreed. So, that same day I contacted Shelley and left a message letting her know that I was not happy about the cut. Two days pass, no response. I left two more messages. Three, four, a whole week still nothing. I think it is very unprofessional for her not to even respond.
It’s sad how prompt she was for my business, but now that I need her help in fixing my bad haircut that she did, she’s no where to be found! If I can post pics on some social media of what she did I will. I don’t like posting negative reviews, but my experience was so bad I want others to beware!

I met Shelley almost two years ago when she was working for another salon/​store here in Napa. She approached me offering advice on hair products. When she learned I was home dying my hair, she convinced me to have a real salon service. I accepted and have never looked back.
During our first appointment, she enthusiastically showed me all the things she thought was beautiful about my hair, and how she would love work with those attributes. I felt at ease immediately, and trusted her implicitly.
Shelley maintains a meticulous record of every encounter. She listens to all my concerns. Her cuts are incredible. I could kick myself for all those $ 12 haircuts I got over the years. Her coloring is perfection. She is always up front and honest about all charges. She told me when we first met how she loves making people feel great about themselves and their appearance. Shelley’s gentle way of telling me maybe I should consider another hairstyle other than the 30 year old one I’ve had was «take a look at the styles on my iPad, pick one out and lets work towards that».
Thomas Dawson & Co. is a great little salon, beautiful jewelry and clothes, contemporary atmosphere. The best thing about the salon is Shelley.

This review is for Shelly! I love my hair! I am a newbie to salon coloring services, I even cut my own hair before I found Shelly. I was very appreciative that not only was she able to figure out exactly what color and cut I was looking for without offending me (other stylists I guess can act a little like a know it all), though it was very apparent that I had no clue what I was talking about. I was worried about finding someone who could do a nice blonde and not fry my hair, my hair feels amazing even compared to my hair before I walked in. Oh, and the color is beautiful. I’m so happy I decided to go to Shelly, it was like an afternoon of girl talk and I came out feeling pampered and relaxed, plus I liked great.

I was in dire need of everything (colour, highlights, cut, etc), but hadn’t gotten up the nerve to find a new hairdresser as I just moved and I hadn’t gotten any good recommendations. Well, I have a TON of hair and it took nearly 4 hours even without the deep conditioning, but I am the happiest I’ve ever been thanks to Shelley, and whenever I pass a mirror I just stare at it and play with it. It’s perfection and even though it’s pricier than my old hairdresser, it’s SO worth it! She really listens to what you want and I didn’t think I gave her enough info, but she was amazing and just performed absolute magic! I will be going to her from now on!

Love this place! Clean friendly staff. Margaret cuts my hair and does a great job. I recommend her my wife and her friends and they all rave about her as a stylist and colorist.

Can’t begin to say enough about Keli Campbell who did my hair and makeup for my wedding. I searched long and hard to find an artist like Keli. She makes you look very clean and not done up but the makeup and hair lasts! I got my hair and makeup done at 9 am and still looked great at midnight!!!
I also want to point out that she returned phone calls the same day and sent scheduling confirmations. I couldn’t get other stylists to even answer an email.
I felt very at ease trusting her and I was on the other side of the country.

I concur with the previous post. D-​nyse is the best! And, I, too, followed her. She is the most pleasant and talented hairstylist, I know. She will definitely embrace you and pamper you.
The salon is fun, energetic, and comfortable. All of the stylists interact to make it a very enjoyable experience. My appointment time flew by and I felt like a new person to take on the day — not to mention a fabulous hair color and cut!

I love this new salon! The interior design is amazing. Everything is new and elegant. Jen, one of the owners pampers me with the best hair cuts of my life. I recommend this salon to everyone. The ultimate upscale salon has finally arrived in Napa!
