I’ve had my hair cut here a handful of times and I have never been disappointed. Great customer service and a kid friendly place, they also have toys to keep your child entertained.

This place deserves ZERO stars. I rarely write reviews but people should know just how disappointing this place is based on the pedicure I received today.
Where to start…
When I walked in there were no customers. I was lazily greeted by a woman sitting in her salon chair who seemed like she wanted nothing to do with me. Not only did they scramble to find all the necessary items needed to do a basic pedicure, the owner walked to the back filled hot water into what looked like a trash bin and poured it into where I place my feet. I should have tapped out right then and there before being further disappointed, but I stayed despite my better judgement.
The woman who did my pedicure, although very sweet, seemed to have no idea how to even do the basics. Barely cleaned my nails,
left so much excess nail polish on the sides that I had to go home myself and redo the entire thing.
I told the owner I was not happy with the outcome and that they shouldn’t offer nail services with people who aren’t experienced enough to even do a half decent job. She looked so confused when I pointed out all the extra nail polish on my skin. Despite all that she still charged me. What terrible customer service!!!
Bottom line I will NEVER be returning here when I could have done a better job myself.

I always receive great customer service and have a blast chatting with my hairstylist, Monica while my hair is getting dyed. I’ve been bleaching my hair and adding fun pastel colors for a couple months and she’s always very careful when handling/​applying the bleach onto my hair. I strongly recommend you ask for Monica next time you’re looking to do something exciting with your hair! She’s wonderful!

I wanted to dye my hair in the style of a rainbow. I called multiple salons in St. Helena & Napa and none were able/​willing/​capable of doing what I wanted. Alma’s has done my hair twice now and is about to do either a touch up or something new in a week or so. I have been happy every time I have gone in. Other times I have dyed my hair, it’s been on the expensive side but I find it very reasonable here.

The pedicure wasn’t what I expected. They don’t have a pedicure chair, I sat in a regular chair and she brought out what people use at home to soak their feet. The water got cold very fast. I told the lady I had shellac polish on my toes, so she proceeds to file off the polish. Not only did that hurt, but from the constant rubbing I got a cut on one of my toes. She didn’t scrub my feet, shape my toe nails, or attend to ingrown nails. When it came time to polish my toe nails she had me put my feet on the same towel that had been used throughout the whole pedicure, you can imagine how wet it was.
