Absolute WORST customer service hands down. I’ve had 2 terrible experiences there that were completely uncalled for. First one, I was there with my 9 year old son getting a sandwich. I had to grab something out of my purse and asked my son to hold my $ 2 scratcher when a VERY rude female reprimanded me for letting my son hold a scratcher… Really? I was shocked. It’s not like he was playing, only holding the ticket. I apologized and explained to her that he was only holding the ticket while I grabbed my wallet out, she then proceeded with, «Well ummmm that’s like illegal and I’m not allowing it here.» Since when is a kid holding a scratcher illegal? He wasn’t playing it. So I left and but my tongue and walked out. She was very rude but I didn’t say anything. So today I went back with my husband to order an sandwich… All was good until the gentleman making our sandwich handed it over and my husband politely said«Thank you» and we got no response from the worker, just an odd glare. So my husband said«thank you» again, and again nothing from the worker. So we started walking out and my husband at that point was annoyed and said«Thanks! Great customer service here!» And then the employee started yelling at us and said«You better walk away you little bitch» and actually tried to instigate a fight. I couldn’t even believe it. We are just your everyday nice customers and the employees at Ranch Market really need some fine tuning with their customer service skills. I will never go back after the horrible customer service, time and time again. There are 2 great employees there, but these other two were unreal.

Ranch Market is a very local chain. They have another one(far more ritzy, with an upscale deli) in Yountville. They have a random assortment of food&household items. They have Thanksgiving Coffee from Sonoma, Amy’s vegetarian/vegan meals out of Petaluma, TCHO chocolate out of San Francisco. On the other hand, they have salsas from Rhode Island, Swanson broths, and Vermont’s Ben&Jerry’s. Unlike many other convenience stores, they have a somewhat extensive produce section. Pros– Most items are at reasonable prices. An extensive parking lot, despite the fact they share it with two barbershops, a seafood market, and a UPS store. Cons– Like many convenience stores, they can have everyday items at otherwise outrageous prices. The deli section was dimly lit, and the two employees stationed at it were on the phone and/or inattentive. Ranch Market is good for what it is.

Sandwiches are great. Wish they had espresso! Nice to have a walkable grocery option for last-minute items. They carry Model Bakery bread. Mmm.

This is now our go to place for Lunch when we are out wine tasting in the Napa Valley. The sandwiches here are so awesome! The NY Pastrami has ½ lb of meat on it. The have a great selection of Sandwiches to chose from or order your own take on a sandwich. All Sandwiches are made to order. I dont know where they get the bread for the sandwiches but they taste like they were made that morning. Do your self a favor and skip the Sattui deli and grab a sandwich and find one of the many picnic benches though out Napa Valley to enjoy lunch.

Ive been walkin over here for about 15 years. When i was like 9 id Go with a $ 1.07 and get myself a soda then hit up The Loose Caboose and get myself a model car. Like others have said, its not a place to go grocery shopping but if you a loaf or some milk its perfect. Sandwiches are hella good, I’d recommend they’re New York Style hot pastrami with pickles. They can be kinda pricey but i love this place.

Convenient location for a quick stop — like an upscale 7 – 11. Not the most amazing selection of items, but still has some basic fruits, yogurts, drinks, household items, etc. The deli makes consistently solid sandwiches and they are nice and get to know you. An all-around well-run and professionally managed establishment!

Small and casual little market tucked away in North Napa. This market is located down the street from me so it’s very convenient for me to shop there when I need to pick something up really fast and don’t feel like driving down to Vallergas or Whole Foods. Prices are definitely not cheap here though. Just to give you an idea a pint of Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream costs $ 5.50. I wouldn’t do all of my grocery shopping here but I don’t mind swinging by when I need something. They also have a deli in the back which I haven’t tried yet but hope to soon. It’s always pretty clean in there and you’ll usually see a rougher crowd in there than you would say Whole Foods. I would put it on par with the same folk you would see in a 7-Eleven. Also the teenage cashiers can give you a little attitude here and there but overall they’re pretty friendly.

Found this little market near our hotel in the hunt for some cold medicine and water. It’s a cute little shop with quite a large selection of medicine, toiletries, and alcohol. To my surprise, they also had a mini deli in the back serving delicious sandwiches along with a full menu of macaroni salad, potato salad, etc. Pricing wasn’t bad for the food at all either.

Great little mom and pop style market. We always need a little something that we didn’t get at the grocery store and they always have what we need. Nice folks there too!

I love this market, I come here for a quick milk or ice cream or frozen pizza. Good service. Sometimes the coffee is empty.

Local corner store. Has the basics, some produce, and a deli. Saves me from driving to town when I’m in a pinch. Employees are friendly.

Overpriced and not a lot of selection. But considering the amount of competition within walking distance, it’s not all bad. Ranch Market does have essentials if you are traveling. The web link on Google threw me off. I knew there wasn’t a 99 Ranch Market(Asian) here but had to see for myself. There are plenty of grocery stores about a mile south around the shopping centers.

This place won me over when I discovered that they carry coca-cola imported from Mexico. Mexi-coke utilizes real sugar rather than high-fructose corn syrup, giving the beverage a more authentic taste. The sweetness reminds me of how coca-cola tasted when I first remember enjoying the product overseas, especially in Europe and the middle-east. So, for $ 1.50 plus tax I can reminisce with one of the most evil products in consumer history. Yay! And for $ 2.00, I can buy a Gatorade. And for $ 4.39 I can walk away with a bottle of windex. And for $ 19.00 per pound, I can go home with some Manchego. A pack of American Spirits will cost me about $ 6.00. What the hell is going on here? Why am I paying New York City prices for these goods? Oh right, because the Ranch Market is the only game in town so they can take me for whatever they want. The lady that cleans my house calls it Ratero Mercado.
