Love the flights of champagne with chocolate. Beautiful ambience. Perfect for a great afternoon of relaxation.

Just waited in line for 30 minutes for the hostess to tell everybody in line that it would be another 30 minutes. It would have been a lot more professional to tell everybody the approximate wait times from the beginning. Wish I had my 30 minutes back. Cross Mums off of my wine list.

This was a lovely experience. They were fast and knowledgeable. There was plenty of staff around to help. Just not enough tables to keep up with the demand. Once we got seated, we were handed tasting menus which we were able easily choose from, and a couple of snacks. It was a lot of fun, and relaxing, and would love to come back again.

We really enjoyed this winery! The view was beautiful, and I loved that you chose a table and the staff would bring your tastings to you. It made the experience much more relaxing and enjoyable. We bought a bottle to enjoy at home. I would definitely return to this winery!

Out of all the wineries I’ve visited in Napa, this one is my favorite! Beautiful views of the vineyard with a clean, dog-​friendly outdoor patio. Staff is friendly and come by with treats for your pup. Fun and positive environment: families, couples, groups of friends, and bachelorette parties were all enjoying their time at Mumm’s. Tastings are delicious; I couldn’t leave without getting a bottle!

Definitely a favorite, as members we get a tasting for 4 complimentary however it is worth the cost for non members as the atmosphere and view are terrific and relaxing. Staff is friendly and knowledgable. The regular terrace is nice if you don’t want to splurge for the Oak Terrace tasting

This is definitely my favorite spot in Napa.
Located on the Silverado Trail, this isn’t nearly as congested or hard to get to as some of the bigger wineries up north are.
However, it seems to be a popular place, and I can see why. Instead of walking up to a bar, everyone is seating with waitstaff for serving. They have a priority line (clubmembers) and the line for everyone else, but we were seated fairly quickly at 10:30 in the morning.
They have four flight options in addition to single glasses on the menu. The three couples in our party split flights and our waitress was fantastic. She was a great storyteller, as this was our first wine in Napa and gave us a great history of Champagne/​Sparkling Wine. She also was more than willing to give us some extra pours once she figured out what we liked! Talk about customer service.
We loved sitting outside on this beautiful summer day and enjoying some bubbly that morning. There were bachelorette parties and families here as well. I would reccomend coming early with a large group.

I came here with 4 of my friends and their service is terrible that we walked out. They don’t serve you in order. We were here earlier than 2 other customers that just walked in and the servers just completely ignored us. Besides that, their waitress was so freakin’ RUDE!!! She should be fired. It was almost as if she didn’t want to work. It clearly sounded like she was having a bad day and coping an attitude with us. NEVER come to this place! Also, if you walk in at 5:15pm they serve you by the glass. Their last tasting menu must be around 5pm. Regardless, this was the absolute WORST place to end my trip.
Go to Sterling. Castello de Amirosa, and V. Sattui! I had very high expectations of this place and what a bad trip! Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere unless you want to deal with cranky servers. Horrible experience!

Friendly staff who went out of their way to make our Champagne tasting experience truly memorable even though the day was wet and soggy. You are given three ample sized glasses of different champagnes and each one is explained to you. They have a coaster of the different types and you can take those with you to remember what you liked.
Great experience!

Mumm is a really beautiful vineyard on the Silverado Trail, but it’s also a busy one. The tastings here are table service, and there are multiple flights to choose from. Our server, Frankie, was really friendly and helped us choose which ones to get. The wines are poured all at the same time, placed on coasters that have the names of each one (which is actually really smart!). You’re not getting quite the personalized service that you’d get at a smaller winery, but I think that’s something that you would probably expect when walking in. I was driving so they offered me a complimentary glass of sparkling pinot noir juice, which was actually super delicious.
Mumm also has a nice gift shop and a fine art photo gallery that currently has photos by Ansel Adams and a collection curated by Carlos Santana. That was a fun little addition and was cool to walk through. If you’re looking for sparkling wine, Mumm is a pretty good place to check out.

I’ve been to Mumm before and it’s a lovely winery with nice views. But I was seriously turned off by the customer service my friend and I experienced when purchasing a gift online for a friend getting married next week. (Long story short: do NOT order anything online from here if you want it in a timely manner).
We made the purchase of a little gift basket online on April 24^th, 2016 for our friend’s wedding on May 7^th, 2016. That’s 13 days ahead of time. Regular shipping takes 7 – 10 business days, which would have been plenty of time, had this winery gotten their act together.
My friend called to check on shipping yesterday (May 4^th) and it still hadn’t shipped. The wedding is taking place in New York and we wanted the bride to have the gift basket on her wedding night. However, now, because Mumm took forever, that won’t be possible. In fact, they expect that the package will get to NY on May 10^th, at which point the bride will be BACK in San Francisco.
We ended up deciding to redirect the package (since no one will be in NY on May 10^th) and they made us pay extra for it! What horrific customer service. It isn’t our fault that it took you 10 days to put together this gift basket and finally send it – why are we being punished?
I will not be giving this winery any business again.

Came here to celebrate a friend taking his USMLE step 1.
When we first got here, we were told that our group of 8 would not be able to be seated together. I guess they only take large groups through wine tours/​party bus on certain days. We split our party into two group of 4 and decided to take our chances.
We ended up getting seated about 10 minutes after each other and several tables apart, but after careful negotiations, we were able to have the other party moved next to us. The staff was very helpful!
There were 4 selections for wine tastings (Toast Today — $ 18, Club Spotlight — $ 22, Perfect Picks — $ 25, Heritage Collection — $ 25). I chose the Perfect Picks that came with four 3 oz tasting glasses (Blanc de Blanc, Brut Reserve, DVX, and an additional choice).
When I went to order a 6 oz glass of the cuvee M, I was told that I had been cut off. I guess they have a policy to cut off patrons after 12 oz. That would have been good to know at the start of the tasting! My friends who ordered the tastings with three 3 oz tasting glasses were still able to order a 6oz glass afterwards.
Lucky! 3 more oz of wine = more buzz!

Our B&B hosts told us to go here to see the photography exhibits. Good choice!
We purchased a tasty bit of bubbly to walk through the museum. Good for my Mark doesn’t like bubbly so I got to drink both!
The permanent installment of Ansel Adams was amazing. It was neat to learn how he created some of the shots back in the day… way before digital.
The traveling installment of photos by Jim Marshall was fantastic. Behind the scenes looks at Carlos Santana and other amazing musicians from the early 70s. Overall, the photo tour was well worth the price (free!).
The seating area for those relaxing, tasting, etc. was beautiful. It’s a great place to hang, but if all they serve is bubbly… not so sure I’d really want to hang here very long.

A lovely place to taste, in a valley saturated with lovely places. Even if you are not a lover of sparkling wine, the patio, the view, the nibbles & the service all contribute to a wonderful experience. We could have lingered on the patio for many hours. The flights are very reasonably priced, especially given the pour (3oz compared to the standard 1oz). The resounding favorite in our group was the Mumm Napa 2008 DVX, a bottle of which we left with. If possible, make a reservation! We waited 30 mins for a table on a warm Saturday in the quiet season.

Great choice for bachelorettes/​girls day out! It was nice to try something different from the usual wines. Although I’m not a big fan of sparkling wines, their drinks were surprisingly good and refreshing.
My group lucked out and had an amazing server! He guided us through our ordering process and was very patient with us. He even gave us some samples to try out.

I would recommend going during the summer to enjoy the nice outdoor seating on the terrace! The view isn’t as beautiful as the harvest season towards the Fall months, but it has such a good ambience– a romantic vibe.
I always get the classic sample, which consists of a variety of sparkling wines. Can’t go wrong with that. Pricing is fair, and staff is very knowledgable!

Such fun sparkling wines, we bought a bottle of course. And the terrace you can taste on is SPECTACULAR. So beautiful.

My husband and I come to Napa twice a year for our wine member pickup at a few of the wineries in the area. We have never been snubbed so hard until we went to Mumm Napa. We were planning to join the wine club, but quickly changed our mind because of how Matthew treated us. I’m not sure if he was socially awkward, or just didn’t care for our presence, but I’ve never been treated so poorly in my life.
I had the «perfect picks» wine flight, and chose the sparking Pinot Noir for my 4^th glass. All the wines were underwhelming, but I wanted to order a glass of the Cuvee M Red to compare since it’s sweeter.
Mathew checked in on us once, and said he’d stop by in a few minutes to tell us about the wine club. We never saw him again after he dropped of the check.
There were a handful of staff just standing around leaning on the wall near the entrance. They were all staring aimless at the rain, including Matthew. I tried waving for his attention at one point, but he still ignored me and continued staring out the patio door. We gave up on ordering our glass after 15+ minutes and left to pay for our tasting and wines.
We ended up buying a bottle of the Demi Sec and Cuvee M Red. Not sure if he gets commission for the sales, but he did NOT help us whatsoever. The woman at the cashier was more helpful than he was.
To make things worse, a Range Rover fell off the road (probably because they were drunk) and was blocking the only exit out. We were stuck for 30 minutes watching a tow truck try to pull it back onto the road.
A staff member approached us asking if we wanted to come back inside. Ha! Yeah right. Like I want to go through that ordeal all over again.
Such a shame, because I was looking forward to Mumm Napa the entire trip. Domaine Carneros is still my favorite winery for sparkling, and they treat their patrons with respect regardless if they are wine members.

I’m a gal who has enjoyed SO much wine throughout her college days, that now I don’t even order wine when I dine out. Nor drink it when I’m at home.
But there’s something about sparkling wine. I get excited looking at the classy curves of the bottle, hearing the pop of that cork and the fizzy sounds when its being poured into a flute. SEXXXY.
Surprisingly, Napa Valley only has a handful of wineries specializing in bubbly. Mumm is
one of the best, offering stunning views of the Rutherford vineyard when you sit on their outside patio. Also, their prices for the bottle are wee bit more affordable than Schramsberg. You can spend $ 18 for their regular tasting which are varied enough to give you a general idea of what they offer or splurge $ 25 for the reserve.
I love the Brut Prestige for its crisp and refreshing qualities. It’s exactly what I look for in a sparkling wine, especially on that initial taste when I am looking for something to perk up my taste buds.
The Brut Rose is the perfect summer drink, it has that gorgeous tinge of pink and is bursting with ripe fruit. For those with a sweet tooth, the Cuvee M is a slightly sweet bubbly that I imagine pairs well with sweet and/​or spicy foods.
If you’re wine tasting in Napa valley and making Mumm your first stop, make sure to eat something beforehand. While they offer crackers, there’s no food for purchase and the gift shop is just stocked with chocolate. Which isn’t such a bad thing at 10am in wine country.

I can only describe this place as a spectacular. Great location and view to the Napa vineyards around. With a good space, indoor or outdoor, but without missing any detail of the view.
About the wine, what I can said, spectacular!!! Loving sparkling wine and buying their wine in the local groceries, it was perfect to go the winery and enjoy it from there.
We ordered some flights, which is perfect to enjoy each of their selection and choose your favorite. For me, all of the selections were delicious but my favorite still the classic Brut Rose. Perfect cold temperature and flavor makes it the choice for a casual lunch or even a relax evening of movies or just with the perfect company.
