Jose’s Custom Cabinets

We have worked with Jose on a number of projects. His work is well executed and a number of individuals who have seen his cabinetry in our home say it is some of the best craftsmanship they have encountered. He is creative and often provides suggestions for design that «make practical sense». He is reasonably priced and will give you an accurate breakdown of the cost of each line item if you request this of him. He always uses materials we agree on and has never added-​on items we did not discuss. We highly recommend Jose and intend to continue working with him.

We hired Jose to reface our kitchen cabinets after our friends used him and had a good experience. Well, we had an awful experience! Our cabinets turned out horrible and we are still trying to fix all of the things that he did wrong. We were very upset with his work the entire time and he kept giving us sob storied about how he wasn’t making very much money and times were hard and yada yada yada… we ended up being so frustrated that we negotiated a different Price just to get him out of our hair. It has only been 4 months since our cabinets were finished and the paint is already chipping. DO NOT HIRE HIM!!! Jose is very nice and cheap, but spend s little more money and go with someone more professional. We are going to have to have our cabinets refinished again.
