How do you help buyers to find the right properties for them?

I talk to my clients in depth about their goals, neighborhoods of interest and their budget. I assist my clients with advice on the their best offer price and give direction on navigating the numerous sales forms and disclosures required by lending institutions in their new role as a seller, as well as the traditional seller. My clients’ needs are first and foremost.

How do you make sure buyers get the best price for the property they are interested in?

I evaluate the comparable properties, the seller’s situation and the market.

What do you do to help market the properties your clients are selling?

Company advertising, weekly open houses, broker tour, internet search engines, flyers and postcards. I present my step by step marketing plan which encompasses much more than simply a sign in the yard.

How do you ensure your sellers get the highest price?

I evaluate the individual seller’s situation. Will they be short? What is their timeline? Are they «distressed»? I look at the comparable properties, neighborhood and current market situation. I use my plan to attract the most buyers to the property.

Although my real estate business started in 2007, my husband and I bought Distinctive Properties of Napa Valley in 1987, the premier real estate magazine of the day, where we gained valuable insight into the property marketplace where we serve. I gained my brokers license in 2011.

Originally from the Midwest, I moved to the beautiful Wine Country twenty years ago and raised two daughters in the Napa Valley. My husband and I bought Distinctive Properties in 1987, the premier real estate magazine of the day, and gained valuable insight into the Napa, Solano and Sonoma real estate marketplaces.

I became a realtor in 2007, a broker in 2011, and am currently a Broker Associate with Berkshire Hathaway Home Services — Drysdale Properties. I am short sale certified through the National Association of Realtors and earned the CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and Property Management Certification.
