History

Established in 1989.

In 1989 J R Construction became a General Contractor with a B License in California. It incorporated in October of 2010 as J R Construction — Sol Solutions, Inc. (CSLB Lic. #953 923) when its emphasis focused on Home Performance and Energy Efficiency upgrades, as well as, PV Solar and Thermal installations.

Business Owner

A son of a carpenter, I’ve grown up with an interest and love for construction and improving a person’s living space so that they are secure and comfortable in their homes.

I worked in education as a teacher and school administrator for 24 of the 38 years served. However, I earned my professional degrees with my hands. When I wasn’t going to school, I was pounding nails building something constructive and sustainable.

Now that I’m working in the Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Home Performance aspect of construction, I find this fulfilling and satisfying as I help homeowners improve their living space and instructing them how to «tame their energy bills.»
