DJ’s Growing Place is a family owned and operated plant nursery and local grower in Napa providing over 800 varieties of annuals, perennials, veggies and herbs. We strive to cultivate an environment that is inviting, enjoyable and educational.

As the only grower in the area, the plants we sell are grown on-​site, beginning from seeds, cuttings or divisions. This makes them stronger, as they are better acclimated to the Northern California weather. You can trust that we’ll provide the highest quality products at a reasonable price.

Established in 1992.

DJ’s Growing Place has been serving Napa since 1992. DJ’s Growing Place was started in memory of our son, Dustin James, who was tragically killed when he was 11 years old. Our mission is to provide beautiful plants and flowers in an environment that is inviting, enjoyable and educational. With over 22 years of success, we look forward to adding you to our long history of happy customers.

Debbie and her husband opened DJ’s Growing Place as a memorial to their son Dustin James in 1992. Debbie enjoys being able to serve the public at DJ’s Growing Place where providing quality plants grown on-​site is the driving force of the business.
