Comcast Service Center

I’ve had comcast for the last several months and its is by far the WORST EXPERIENCE! weekly i have to call customer service to send a new signal because my Internet or cable no longer works. I beg all of napa, do not be plagued with this THIRD WORLD COMPANY and its inability to provide any service for any length of time thats even remotely worth $ 80.00 bucks a month. Id have better service with two tin cans and a string, than dealing with Comcast and its stone age technology! AT&T HERE I COME!!!

I hate to disappoint the nay-​sayers, but I have just returned from this service center and received knowledgeable, professional, and friendly help from Quana. The customer service could not have been better! Keep up the good work!

Wish you could give 0 stars. Worst customer service ever. Spent 75 on the phone with a representative of that time 30 minutes was on hold. Problem still not resolved.

Second time in a month having to come in to the store and lucky me, I get Vanessa to help (only NOT). She is rude, and cuts the client off. I’ve called customer service and they told me specifically what I needed to get. She gave me what she wanted to give with total disregard to my requests. She needs a class on customer service. She starts her own conversations with coworkers and leaves you standing there. Hello… I’m the customer!!! May be time to look elsewhere.

Really really really bad customer service! In person and over the phone. If you have any other options to go somewhere else, please do so.

I recently moved out to the Napa area for a job promotion. I ordered the Comcast self installation kit for just Internet and was unsuccessful in putting it together due to their being a «connection problem.» So I scheduled an appointment to get a tech out to my apartment.
I was given a 2 hour window from 4 – 6 but was told specifically by a rep they would not get there until 545. I got a call at 515 telling me they were at my house but I was still driving home from work. I told him to wait 5 minutes and that I would get my maintenance guy to let him in. He didn’t wait. I immediately called him back to ask where he went and his response was «you need to call Comcast I don’t need to deal with you» and the hung up on me!!! I have never felt so disrespected by a «professional» in my life. I will never use Comcast again.
I was told they would get someone out to my house the next day for $ 20 off… No thank you I would rather pay the full $ 50 to a company that actually gives a damn about their clients.

I’d write a review as long as a novel about the lack of integrity involving this company but fuck that! why bother?, looks like shit, smells like shit, … it must be shit.

The worst Customer Service I have ever experienced!!! These so called Customer Service people are the Dumbest «its not my job; we just work here» is what I was told about why my Billing date changed without prior notification. It’s so obvious that Comcast is so hard up that they will LIE to your face just to keep padding the charges. It’s no wonder that customers are dropping them like sh*t on flies. The Napa store employees are equally rude and don’t know two cents about «Customer Service»! But got to give them a little credit for playing stupid. Oh wait they weren’t playing. No college education there.

The worst service, advertise an offer and don’t honor it– if you call customer service be prepared for an hour of explaining your needs and no resolution. I pay my bills on time every month and all I get is grief and horrible service. There has to be a better way than this to use Internet and TV. Cable companies monopolize our service and give us nothing in return. Bottom line– they don’t care– don’t even know why I am Unilocaling about it — won’t change.

Worst business/​company ever! Really have no clue how they stay in business. The only good thing going is the face to face people in the service center or the people who come to hook up the service. Don’t bother dealing with calling in or communicating via «chat» help online. WORTHLESS! I set up our whole install via «chat» and saved the «chat», printed it out and when it came time for someone to be here… NO show. So, we call and there is no record of it and I say but I have it all in writing and they still continue to say there is no record of it and nothing they can or will do. Now they say it’ll be another week before anyone can come out. UGH! They lie and it’s a terrible company to deal with! I have zero respect for this company.
Switching to Dish! Bye-​bye Comcast!

Comcast is horrible! Service stinks but because they have a monopoly they can charge whatever they want and still provide terrible service! I have been a customer for years and have had techs out to my home about a dozen times many for the same issue. Seriously contemplating giving up their X1 system all together!

Comcast is the worst company that you will ever deal with!
I’ve spent up to three days trying to rectify trying to get services that I’m paying for. No one in the company seems to know what is going on. After days (5 days) I’ve begun receiving the service only to being throttled so that I can’t enjoy the live streaming programs on the internet. Using Speed Test, it shows that I am getting more than 50 mbps, which is 5X what is needed to view streaming TV. So why is it that the show recently needs to keep buffering? Because — I AM BEING THROTTLED.

This company is halfway decent. The Internet is the fastest around. But the cable and user interface is terrible. The people who work in the store and come to your house are the best. But the people on the phone are the worst customer service people I have ever talked to. I have never been so angry in my life than when a Comcast service person lied to me multiple times on the phone. But this review isn’t about Comcast. It’s about the Comcast presence in Napa.
So Diane from this store, gets five stars. I go to her if I ever have a service problem. I never call the 800 number.
Alex the service guy has worked on our house now twice. He is a very nice and timely worker. I feel he goes above and beyond when working on our house.
Do I get what I pay for? No. Like I said the cable isn’t the best, and the phone people are terrible. But 3.5 starts for the nice people who I mentioned above.

Called xfinity & waited for rep who said I could duck into the local office to pick up my modem. Should have packed a picnic basket; no ducking in about this business. Cut to months later when I came back to drop the equipment off after I no longer needed it and it wouldn’t fit into the outside box, so I went inside and asked the young woman at the front (because again, there was a line), if I could leave it with her. I politely said it wouldn’t fit, so I set it on her desk. She actually chased me in the parking lot, threatening that my account would not be credited for the returned equipment. So I called Comcast & told them what just happened. I don’t usually watch standard TV, so here’s hoping I never have to return.

Comcast is a mixed bag when it comes to service. I was fortunate to call them on my day off, so I could wait for MOST OF THE DAY (when I was told to wait only a few hours) for internet installation. The service I had over the phone was rude and unhelpful. On the other hand, the installation guy was very helpful, courteous, and he was genuinely apologetic that he had come so many hours late. The in-​person hospitality contrasted with the brusqueness and dismissiveness over the phone. It’s best to deal with them in person.

The worse service I ever experienced, it’s been 40 minutes trying to watch a show, still loading. irritating and sad, I wish I can go back to direct TV…

Don’t bother calling the Napa Store at the 707 number… it is answered in South America… go figure. Called to confirm my modem would be ready before driving in from Sonoma… The guy that answered the phone… asked me what Napa was… not where it was what it was… so after helping with US geogrophy I asked my question… and of course he had no way of telling so once again a huge costumer service FAIL

If there was a lower rating I would give it. There is no way to break through the voice mail to resolve a non standard problem.

This is exactly what happens when you have no competition for internet cable service, high prices and lousy service. Comcast has to be one of the least admired companies in the world. Had a speed problem with the internet. After some discussion over the phone, the customer service rep said someone needed to come out to check the wires to the house. Very strange suggestion and the last thing I want to do is wait on anyone associated with Comcast.
Instead, suggested we do a speed test wired directly to a new modem, and it worked fine. Why would Comcast be so quick to suggest a customer visit? To charge for it? Good use of Comcast time to make an unnecessary trip? The customer service rep was not competent. 49 out of 50 times, expect to get someone on the phone with an IQ of 50. The 1 other time, they will just tell you Comcast does not support your modem, router, etc. unless you rent it from them. Comcast basically sucks all around.

If you think it should take about 10 mins, then you should plan for it to take an hour.
The staff is a mixed bag. Some are cheerful, friendly, and helpful. Some obviously just needed a job with benefits.
But pretty consistently, if you complain about something for a minute or two, they’ll usually give you something for free just to shut you up (a month free of this service or a couple months free of that service).
