Wheels of Yesteryear is a classic and muscle car museum housing 50 cars from the early 50’s through the early 70’s. Cars are rotated in and out on a yearly basis. Gift shop carries diecast model cars, t-shirts, tin signs and other items of interest to the car enthusiast.
History
Established in 2009.
Wheels of Yesteryear opened its doors on September 30, 2009. Cars are from a private collection belonging to Paul Cummings of Carthage, NC. Since the museum is not large enough to hold the entire collection, some cars are changed each year to provide a fresh display. The museum closes from mid-January to mid-February to accomplish this.
