Great Starbucks. Great location. Friendly staff. Only downfall is they don’t honor the rewards program. You can scan for points but cannot use rewards.

I am Not sure if it’s just the south, or what. But on my road trip I stopped at two Starbucks this one being included and they were the worst I’ve ever had. The coffee is tasteless, watery, and there’s just no flavor. Its not like any other Starbucks. I think when you order the same thing from a franchise it should resemble the same item at any other franchise but that is not the case here. Not saying Starbucks is the best by any means, but at least it’s drinkable most times.

The sign on the door should state that this location closes at 9:58pm instead of 10:00pm. I was standing in front of their automatic door waiting for it to open. Wondering why the door wasn’t opening, I looked into the store at the 3 associates that were standing behind the bar STARING at me! There were 2 customers in the store. Instead of a staff member coming to the door to speak with me(even if just say, we lock our doors early, because we’re ready to go home), they just looked at me. I’m sure at least one of them had to be a supervisor, which is unacceptable. Starbucks spends tons of money on branding, marketing and advertising, in the hopes of having consumers spend their money at Starbucks. It would appear that the 3 associates at this location(in Myrtle Beach, which is a vacation destination$$$) don’t understand the bigger picture. I’m sure this isn’t the 1st time this has happened(I wonder how much money they’re losing), I would have spent at least $ 10 and my friend(who has never been to a Starbucks) was super excited to try her 1st $ 5.00 cup of coffee. Well, those 2 minutes and your 3 associates created a horrible 1st impression for her and their lack of acknowledgement to presence — is SHAMEFUL!

The wifi here doesn’t work worth a crap! A main reason I stopped here to get coffee. Not because it’s «Starbucks» coffee but because of the wifi! That’s an issue they need to fix cause us locals can get a black coffee anywhere!

Our first morning(afternoon now) in Myrtle Beach and we stopped in my fave coffee place… Duh, of course it’s Starbucks. Anna was at the cash register with a huge smile on her face when we walked in. Since it was late morning early afternoon they were out of most of the breakfast stuff, which is understandable. Instead of just saying nothing, she was very informative of where to get a bagel and close, without even asking her. She was soooo nice. Another woman chatted with us as well. Great way to start the morning with a Starbucks and smile and headed over to the Bagel Factory. Thank you Anna! You rock!

Horrible barista. Coffee tasted like rubbish. I am not a coffee snob. Just went in because my wife wanted something warm on a cold day. Not a «real» Starbucks so you get trapped into paying if you planned on using points or a coupon.

I saw some pretty bad reviews, so thought 8 take a minute to comment. I’ve been coming here for 3 days straight and the staff have been nothing but pleasant. The starbucks unit itself is large, updated, comfortable, and even has an obstructed ocean view! That’s 5 stars for Starbucks in my book!

Good location. Typical of most of the chain. I only write a review because I’m bored and because someone stole their stirrers… You know who you area and you should be ashamed of yourself! Got a Grande Hazelnut with 4 creams and 10 sugars for someone else. I got back to the room only to realize that he didn’t even want sugar. So I am probably as bad as the stirrer stealer. HeHeHe!

When visiting Myrtle Beach in the Winter months it is more or less a ghost town. Everything is closed and things are just open seasonally… etc… So that being said, when the Starbucks can’t get it together with a few patrons in the store I am blown away. The staff seemed as if they hadn’t been trained or even stepped foot into another Starbucks in their life. Rude…

Mean barista. Bad attitude and ruthless NOT customer service friendly. If the ladies this morning worked for me I would fire them. Can’t make a drink and won’t admit they are wrong. Seriously? Boycott this place.

Staff was just nasty, nasty and more nasty. Didn’t have the equipment to use phone app. So I whipped out my card and she couldn’t use that either. So I suggested she hand type in the card number and she got the nastiest attitude and said no can do. So I said, I’m not really liking your attitude and she looked at me and actually said well I don’t like your attitude either. At that point, the Barista started sniggering. I mean… really? Cancelled my order and left. Lot of money for a coffee so please give your hard earned cash to some other business thats friendly :)

After ordering my beverage the staff person making in said that I don’t want my drink that way because it will be gross and bitter. The person working the register said to «just give her a frappachino» referring to me. I asked about the difference and the young lady at the register said that it’s the same but they add in a base to make it sweeter. I clearly stated that this was NOT what I wanted but they refused to make it my way. For the record I wanted a soy chai on crushed ice. I really didn’t want the base added in because it is too sweet. I then had to change my order because the teens working behind the counter were not«getting it». I understand that the typical clientele at Starbucks doesn’t know anything about coffee or tea but I’ve ordered my drink this way a bunch of times and never thought that it was too bitter. I am now officially turned off from Starbucks. Their coffees are made from burned beans and their customer service is the worst of all the chain coffee shops.

The worst Starbucks I’ve ever been in. Nobody in there, coffee was not hot and wi-fi not working. They suggested we use the next door resort“s wi-fi and even gave us the log in. Illegal.

So I went here during my vacation this week with my bff!(crazy fun — i’m running on less than 10 hours of sleep). Anywho, I was lounging pool side and thought«hey! i want a naked juice drank.» So I walked to starbucks(side note, it was myrtle beach sports bike week… and people were out like ants!) I walked inside and to my surprise… no one was here. Up north starbucks not having customers would make me think the world is ending.(funny — haha) A plus, the place looked clean. I’m not a startbucks junkie b/c it’s bit expensive but this one was kind of bland. The staff was friendly and I’d go here again but the ambiance was a little flat… or maybe there was sooo much going on outside that I had to much energy. lol

My experience here was mixed. The morning crew was fantastic. Great location right across from the beach. However, 2 days in a row, I asked for a refill using my gold card from the after 9 shift and both times, the same gal tried to charge me for a refill and the first day charged me for another full cup. This is disappointing as I have been in this Starbucks every morning for a week on our vacation. I really would expect more from Starbucks as a gold card member. Kudos to the early morning staff.

This Starbucks in particular has been my branch office at lunchtime for years now. They are very friendly to locals and now know me well enough that they start fixing my drink if they see me parking on the street. This branch is not a company store but actually owned by the Breakers resort so they choose to make the wifi free. This is my favorite Starbucks I’ve ever been to. The barristas are all pretty great and tend to not turn over as often as a lot of other locations. I recommend coming and hanging out if you are on the north side of Ocean Boulevard. There is free parking on the street right in front from October to March, and a covered garage at the end of the block for the rest of the year.

If you are white and live in Oakland, but still white and you go to Myrtle Beach and buy a grill for $ 20, where is the appropriate place to fit your grill? Remember, the grill is only $ 20 so fitting it does not require a trip to Paul Wall, but you will need to dunk the grill in hot water so that it will mold to your teeth. And remember, you ARE white. That’s right! Starbucks! How apropos. Pathetic, but apropos. Thank you Starbucks for your free hot water. And thank you for the clean restroom mirrors. And thank you for not laughing at me and for having the courtesy to tell me that my tooth jewelry looked nice.
