Joe Mason, Sr., Founder of Mason Tire & Auto Service decided to open a tire and service business in Surfside Beach 25 years ago. Mason became acquainted with Surfside Beach in the early 1980s when he took a business trip to the area. He loved what he saw and felt this is where he wanted to open a tire and automotive service store for himself and his family, and one day retire. Since that decision he has opened a total of five locations, Surfside Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island and his latest in Conway.

The guys at xxxMart said «I had an unpatchable hole in the inside wall of my tire (from hitting one of Horry Counties many pot holes). «I called Masons and they had same brand tire in to match the rest on the truck. Make a long story short they took of the tire off and found a small nail that could be plugged saving some $$$. Masons Is awesome!
