Great pub! We came during happy hour so it was a bit early but no problem with the cig smoke that was mentioned earlier. Very attentive server!

Great pub with an outstanding staff and fantastic food. TV’s everywhere including the booths. Game room adjacent which doesn’t distract. They had a bucket of 5 beers for $ 14. Try the southwestern chicken egg rolls.

My wife and I went with some friends on a mini vacation to Myrtle Beach during Thanksgiving weekend and after doing«touristy» activities all day we needed a great bar to have a few drinks and unwind. Bumstead’s Pub was recommended by quite a few of the locals, so we decided to see what was so great about this Pub. The atmosphere was very delightful. Once we set foot in Bumstead’s we were immediately greeted by Jason(BESTBARTENDEREVER). We ended up going into the room on the left since my friend and I wanted to shoot darts. Not only did they have two electronic dart boards, but they also had a pool table, ping pong table, life size connect four(which our wives absolutely loved), and several televisions(we watched FSUSTOMPUF). We never had a dull moment during our three and a half hour visit. The main area had quite a few people sitting at the bar, but the back area was completely empty except for our group and another couple, whom we ended up drinking with and playing a few of the above mentioned games. Jason took care of all six of us and made sure we never had an empty drink in our hand. If you’re looking for a pub with a plethora of drinks, bar games, and incredible service, then I highly recommend Bumstead’s Pub! You won’t be disappointed!

Gotta say great bar! Comfy chairs and a good pour. We sat down to watch a game and they turned on every TV to the game for us. The wings and the nachos are great. accidentally bit my hand because the nachos were so mind numbing good. chicken wings were crispy and hot they give you nothing but drumsticks so you can keep funneling those wings in your mouth and keep your eyes on the TV no worries about eating a chicken bone. all muscle memory! GREATBAR!!! EAT, DRINK, REPEAT.

Excellent place to have a good sandwich or burger and a couple good beers. Good selection of on tap beers and one heck of a full beer list. Has the feel of one of those fun neighborhood bars that is just great to go hang out with some friends and watch a game.

Excellent, laid back atmosphere. Staff is very attentive. Great place. Sampled food including pretzels, wings, and nachos on two separate occasions. If you are looking for a laid back place to hang out, this is it.

Cool place to watch the game. Good prices on beer and food. We had to Macho Nachos and they were very good. Beer was cold and 2.25 for draft.

This place is great! Good atmosphere! Great bar good! Lots of TV’s. There is smoking inside of that bothers you. Have been here for lunches when it wasn’t too crowded… smoke wasn’t too bad either! I’ll come back if I’m her in myrtle beach!

A great craft beer bar, but the food is even better. A favorite locals hangout located in the heart of Myrtle Beach with some of the best service around. Ask Alyssa for the turkey roast beef swiss combo sandwich, between her and the sandwich you can’t go wrong. Darts, pool, ping pong, golden tee and silver strike. You won’t be disappointed.

Bumstead’s has a great selection of craft brews to choose from and the prices seemed rather fair, but if you’re not a smoker and smoking atmospheres bother you, you probably aren’t going to stay long enough to savor the wide selection of brews. Sad, really.

Great food, great drinks and helluva good time are to be had here at Bumsteads. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed… Dare I say,” Redskin Mania”. But I did notice several other team fans in the crowd. Its all good to me. I’m here for the party :)) and if my Titans decide they wanna win another game this season I’ll be more than happy to celebrate. The wings were the highlight, Garlic & Parm was on point. Crispy skin with all that buttery garlic and parm, juicy and moist inside. The medium heat wings were tasty as well. They had just the right amount of heat and great texture. Their homemade blue cheese dressing is to die for. The sandwich we shared was delish. From the bun to the pastrami and coleslaw, Fresh quality stuff I tell ya. The Smokin Joe Frazier fries, a must try. And let me not forget the cocktail. The Irish Bulldog. anything with Vodka and Guinness in it, has got to be good, right? Trust me it is! Bumsteads is a real gem. Thanks to all the Unilocalers out there who showed me the way !(even though this app seems to be directionally challenged at times) Cheers!

We were trying to find a place to watch the game so I quickly Unilocaled a sports bar and this place came up. Was a little hesitant upon entering due to the cigarette smoking but was able to cut into the dogwood deli area where there are multiple big screens TVs. We randomly selected 4 items off of the menu– wings, jerk shrimp quesadilla, Philly cheesesteak, and a northern sub. Every single thing we had surpassed my expectations. This place is great! My party appreciated the variety of beers they offered and my mother loved the margarita. Overall this place is a hit! We love this place and will make sure we include this spot when we visit again.

I recently visited Myrtle Beach for the first time and I heard quite a bit about the fun nightlife that Myrtle Beach offers. So with that in mind we visited several Myrtle Beach bars and night clubs. Most were pretty fun and each offered something unique. Whether it was fun beach bars, karaōke bars, or piano bars, most of the bars offered stout drinks and a great atmosphere. But of all of these bars, Bumstead’s was my absolute favorite. Not because of its crazy party like atmosphere or because its right on the beach, but instead because it offers a straightforward and consistent atmosphere with great drinks and great food. You can’t ask for more than that. When you walk in the bartenders are quick to serve you and introduce you to their extensive food and drink menu. Bumstead’s offers about twenty beers on tap and an endless numbers of local and specialty craft beer by the bottle. If you go you must try the RJ Rockers Son of Peach beer. It sounds a bit weird but it offers bold flavor with a slightly sweet peach flavored kick. On top of the great beer selection, the menu is extensive and the offer a great happy hour menu. Also their bartenders can mix up some great specialty drinks from off the drink menu! They offer your typical bar food with appetizers, burgers, salads, and even cheesesteaks. But the best part is that Bumstead’s is partnered with one of the best sub shops in all of Myrtle Beach. Dagwood Deli. They offer these mouthwatering, meat packed, sensational subs all-day, even after Dagwoods is closed! These sandwiches are an absolute must get! Bumstead has dart boards, pool tables, foosball, and plenty of TV’s to catch your favorite sports game. And because it was a bit a bit off the beaten path from the beach, it seemed to attract the local crowds giving it more of that authentic Myrtle Beach feel. This is a great bar in Myrtle Beach. If you are looking for a place that is not to touristy, has great dive bar environment, and is just a great place to have fun with friends and family them Bumsteads is the place you should absolutely try out.

Really chill bar. Definitely more if a locals spot where you can watch the game and meet some good people. Bartenders were friendly and drinks were reasonably priced. They had a lot of beers to choose from and their m-f happy hour prices will definitely make you happy. Overall a good, simple place with good people not far away from all the resorts but without the chaos of ocean blvd nonsense. Would definitely go back

I enjoyed my time at Bumstead’s I went to watch a basketball game that wasn’t on the channels available in my note. I ordered the nachos, and they were very good. They have a good number of beers on tap. I had this peach beer, a first for me, and loved it! My bartender, Jason, is a really nice guy. He never let my glass go empty. They will put on whatever game you want — my game certainly wasn’t one anyone else was interested in. I give Bumstead’s two thumbs up!
