Thought my caddy hood release cable broke. Took it to Blacks a gentlemen came out to look at it in the parking lot and said «it just prolly needs a little lube». A couple of squirts of lube and we were on our way. Thanks Blacks

Had a flat tire while towing our Airstream down to Murrells Inlet. Tire was damaged beyond repair. We wanted a Goodyear and we found Blacks Tire Service.
Dave helped me over the phone and actually had the tire we needed in stock. Dropped of our tire and dos a little shopping. Dave called us when the tire was ready. His crew mounted our new tire and put our spare back in the under car mount.
Great experience all around. I would highly recommend Blacks Tire!

Traveling to Myrtle Beach area for work. I was leaving my hotel and came out to find I had a flat. I called Black’s and they sent someone out to check my tire. They were able to put air in it and I followed the service truck to their shop. They repaired my tire and had me back on the road. They didn’t take advantage of me on price. Which is something that I have happen to me traveling from home on more than one occasion. Great place!

I love this place and I would never go anywhere else to get my car needs taken care of. Fast, friendly, convenient service and an affordable price. These guys are better than great and they always take good care of me!

This place is awesome. I had 2 nails and a screw in my tire. They could have told me I needed a new tire like Walmart and Sears did. They could have charged me $ 150 for a new performance tire that they did have in stock. Instead they fixed my tire for $ 25 and 450 miles later I finally got home with no problem!

On vacation in Myrtle Beach and had a very minor problem with my Lexus but it needed to be attended to before the long drive home or it could have become a much bigger issue. Very concerned about being ripped off since I’m driving a Lexus with out of state license plates. Very friendly greeting when I entered. Recommended that we wait for Casper to look at the car. Casper took one look and assured us it would be no problem. It was a 5 minute fix and then Casper returned the car with NO bill and just a friendly «enjoy the rest of your vacation!» Wow! God bless Casper and the guys at Black’s for honest professional service.

I’m on vacation and live 560 miles away. My Toyota Sienna’s AC stopped working, and I researched to cost of the worst case scenario — the compressor/​condenser. Range of repair was $ 80 for a new belt to $ 6,500 for a new unit. Asked the concierge at the resort for an honest shop, and Black’s was recommended.
Took it in, explained the problem, and Carl (the mechanic) took it back to look at it.
Fearing the worst after he had it on a lift for 30 — 40 minutes, he told me not to worry too much. The AC control unit was faulty, and the AC wasn’t turning on because it was reading –32 degrees in the cabin of the van.
He spent the time checking the hoses, belts, coolant, and compressor, and only charged a small diagnostic fee. The part isn’t readily available (Spark’s Toyota didn’t have one either, and couldn’t get one in within the week), or else I would have asked him to fix it.
All in all, I’m glad I found a quality, HONEST shop to let me know what was up with the AC.

So I had to replace a front tire to my car and the tire is pretty hard to find and very pricey. We called around to find a price other than the $ 200 we had been quoted by several dealers in the area. In order to help make this a time worthy day, we called a day ahead of time to ask if they had the tire and were told that there wasn’t one in stock, but they could get one from their ‘warehouse’. Therefore a 10:30 AM appt. for the following day was made. Not wanting to be late, we hurried out in the pouring rain to be sure to get there. Our name was left at the desk and we were told that the tire hadn’t arrived yet. This was at 10:20. Around 10:41 the customer service person asked if we had filled out a ‘ticket’ yet for the car. We had NOT because no one had mentioned it when we checked in! Well, we sat there and waited for the car to get into the garage and the new tire put on it. I don’t think personality was existing here for any of their workers. We finally got out of there around quarter of eleven. I’m surprised that we weren’t told that some ‘other’ things were wrong with the car like the rim, or something because I heard them suggesting to many other people some other services may be needed. I was glad I had a man with me. I wasn’t told I needed anything else. By the time I left (to the tune of $ 211,+) I was thinking of how I hope I never had to go there again for anything. If the tire wasn’t there, I wish they had called us to tell us that it wasn’t there yet and to come in a little later. This way, some of our errands could have gotten done ahead of time. I can see from the prices on the wall that this place is definitely not a bargain. If I have an appointment at 10:30, that means 10:30 to me, not 11. My time is just as important as their time.
