Saber Foundation

I would never recommend these guys, They advertise free estimates but when you call them they wanted to charge me $ 450.00 just to come out and give me an estimate. Really $ 450.00 for an estimate!

Called for an estimate on a known issue with a foundation repair on a home we are purchasing. $ 450 just to give us an estimate. We’ll not be using this company.

Workers are great. Office staff not. Hard to get callbacks from office staff and it took a month and several requests to get a receipt.

I have been looking for foundation repair contractors for several months. Saber was one of three contractors I had asked to provide bids for my work. Overall I was very impressed with everyone from this company. Everyone, starting with Jason in field sales, the office staff and the teams led by Matt and Rick that ultimately did the work, all understand customer service and customer satisfaction.
One of the previous contractors did what I thought was a thorough evaluation and estimate. Than I met Jason from Saber. He did an amazingly thorough evaluation and provided a detailed report of the problems, sketches for remediation, cost and timing. While others have written that they were scheduled weeks out, this was not a problem for me. I waited months before deciding to do the work. Waiting a few weeks for scheduling was not a problem for me.
From the time of initial request and through the completion of the work, Saber had EXCELLENT communication. Whether by phone or email, I always knew what and when to expect it. The day before the scheduled work day, I received a call from Matt asking if he could do the work a day early. Unfortunately I was not available. On the day of the work, Matt and his crew performed all the necessary work in an efficient, professional and clean manner. Several hours after Matt started, Rick and his crew showed up to perform the polyfill leveling. Again, an efficient, professional and clean job. About six hours after starting this job, everything was complete. Jason, Matt and Rick know their stuff. They are good communicators throughout the process.
It’s only been a few days since the work was completed but I am very glad I chose Saber to perform my repairs. I would highly recommend Saber for foundation and concrete leveling repairs. But be prepared to wait since it may take them time to schedule your job. The wait will be worth it.

Ads in «TheHomeMag» says free quote but when I called they want $ 450 inspection fee can not be waived. These guys can not be trusted.

After listened to several foundation companies presentation and researched, I decided to go with Saber to fix my foundation based on good reviews on Unilocal but didn’t experience the same as those 5 star reviews. The earliest appointment we can make was 2 months after we signed the contract. On the first day, they called and told me they will come around 8am. They came at 9am. They left my house around 2pm each day. The work could have been done within 2 days but they took 4 days. They are not punctual. Second, they broke my porch tiles and drywall but didn’t say anything. They left a lot of hand print with dirt on my dry wall. Last, they didn’t clean up well either. I’d rather choose the company that more considerate and responsible.

This is a business that specializes in ‘low lying fruit’ — i.e. suckers who don’t know better. First of all there is their policy to not make an appointment with you for at least 3 – 4 weeks after you call. They say it is because they are so busy, but really it is their gimmick. They do this so that you will have seen other companies first and will be so exhausted by the process of trying to get bids that you will just take the last company to come thru. And they have polished emails and videos all lined up to convince you why it is worth waiting for them — part of their delay tactic. Right there you should know you are being gamed.
By the time the guy actually came, he basically just took measurements and then gave me a low bid based on the linear foot. He had no specific plan for the hollow concrete blocks my foundation is made up of. When I asked him about it he hemmed and hawed, even though he had worked for the company for seven years. In essence they do one cookie cutter solution for everything apparently, which may or may not work for your problem. I asked him if he could consult with someone else in the company and get back to me. He said he would but never did.
We ended up having CXC Contracting do the work and they did a great job. Very specific solution. Oh yeah, they knew the hollow concrete blocks and filled each one, for about equal low price.

We definitely recommend using Saber to fix any problems you may have with your house foundation. Our experience from getting a consultation to getting the work completed has been very good. Joe and his crew took the time to explain the whole process, were very professional and kept us informed every step of the way. They did a great job cleaning the job site after they were done. Nait and Rick were also efficient with their work and they made sure all of the slabs were even. We are 100% satisfied with the quality of work and the way the crew cleaned up after themselves!

Excellent work with punctual and efficient crew. Rescheduled and completed our project 1 month prior to the original appointment date.

I highly recommend Saber to anyone who needs to level concrete slabs or foundations! The crew who leveled the concrete around my pool (Nait and Rick) performed a great job! They are experienced, high energy, and have a positive attitude with a great work ethic! I appreciate the professionalism and customer service they provided… If I ever need their services again, I would hire them back in a heartbeat.
I assume all the crews carry the same level (pun intended) of service, but I’ll bet Nait and Rick are the top guns at Saber!

We had a big issue to deal with in our home involving chemical foam injection into the space between the ground and our concrete slab foundation, a decision we made after meeting with many consultation companies and 3 different certified engineers.
Nait and Rick showed up on time each day, and got to work immediately. Compounding the problem was that half of the job involved drilling through tile that we wanted to keep and the roughly 3/​16″ holes penetrating that material had to be made in such a way as to minimize damage to the tile and preserve an attractive appearance. They had to drill hundreds of holes and they did very little apparent damage.
Nait was the project foreman, and he was polite, courteous and very respectful of our home and time. He explained any concerns and ensured that his crew worked cleanly and carefully.
The crew cleaned up each after themselves each day, and devoted a number of hours on the last day to ensure that our home was a clean as possible when the job was finished.
Nait made a number of helpful and minimally expensive suggestions to ensure that the work yielded the results we were hoping for. While it will be a few weeks before we will know if that is the case, we are very optimistic, and I will update after we check our slab for moisture.
It has been a really long time since we first discovered our problem and we are hopefully seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, but we are very happy with the quality of work that was performed by Nait and Rick of Saber Geotechnical Construction Solutions.

We purchased an older property that had some backyard concrete issues. Some areas were lifting and others sagging. After meeting with a few different concrete companies, a friend from out of the area suggested we call Saber and what a great solution this is. Nait and Rick showed up on time, professional and polite and took care of our concrete woes in just a couple of ours. Looks great for a fraction of the cost of tearing up the old concrete. Definitely give them a call!

I was planning to purchase an older home, and fortunately before I decide to remove contingency, a friend of mine pointed out there is a rather large crack on one corner of the house that started to spread.
I decided to employ the help of Saber foundation and they sent Kevin to this house for inspection. And I am really happy with his work. He was able to not only identify the issue (loss of soil under the house that made one side of the slab foundation to go down and create stress, thus creating the crack), he is also able to identify what causes it (incorrect drainage setup), and how to prevent the issue from happening in the future.
He was able to clearly and patiently explain to me what are the issues and even suggests some other contractors to fix the drainage. he mentioned that even though they can do the job, doing drainage is typically not too expensive, but due to the nature of their pricing policy, I will ended up paying too much for the drainage work and would be better of going to other contractor for that job, and they can take care of the current foundation problem by filling in with reinforcing chemical material and close the crack.
Although I decided not to go with the house, I am glad that I have employed their service, otherwise I would have been stuck with a house with a rather considerable foundation problem

First class operation. Part of my foundation cracked and the kitchen had settled to the point that the tiles had cracked and cabinets were out of line. Got three estimates and the pricing was about the same but Saber came across as by far the most professional and competent. Every time I Called in the staff was upbeat and helpful. Laird came out and was very thorough in explaining my options. Left a information packet that went into detail on the process. Alvin and his crew, Chad and Dimitri walked me through what they would be doing and what I could expect. Once they started they did not
stop until the job was complete. Cleaned up so well you would never know a they has been there. I am VERY happy with the entire experience.

I want to compliment Saber on their #1 crew; Angel Morales, James and Dakota; excellent employees! Angel went to great lengths to communicate to us his plans and what we should expect. He was extremely capable of completely our home project by leveling and securing our home with the least amount of damage.
Such talent and service builds great companies! This crew exceeded our expectations and left our home and yard in excellent condition. Congratulations to Saber and especially to Angel for an excellent job completed on time.

I reached out to multiple vendors to fix the cracked/​unleveled concrete foundation on my 1950’s 20×20 ft garage that had settled in quite badly. Out of the ones that did show up, they only offered to completely take out the existing foundation and put in a new one. Prices ranged from $ 4,500 to $ 7,500 until Saber showed up and gave us a different alternative using their polylevel injection system. Their quote was considerably less than the competition but most importantly they were doing what I wanted, which was to level and repair the cracks!
Sorry to say that I forgot the name of the gentleman that did the initial estimate, but he was great and explained everything thoroughly. He arrived timely and was very professional throughout and was not pushy with the sale, plus the estimate was free.
For the day of the actual work, Nait and Rick were also very professional and did an excellent job. I’m fully satisfied with the end result and Nait reached out to me on about 4 occasions as they were working to ensure everything was to my liking. I felt that they went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction, If you’re thinking of using Saber I would suggest you ask for Nait to come out and do the work!
Now for the cons and the the 4 star review, If could rate the gentleman who did the estimate as well as Nait and his crew who did the actual work, I would rate them 5 of 5 stars.
I reached out to Saber on March 1^st, 2015, they couldn’t send out someone to give me an estimate until 5 weeks later due to me only being available on Wednesday and weekends. While this is partly my fault due to my availability, I felt 5 weeks was a bit excessive.
I’m happy with the quote and want to contract Saber, I give a 10% downpayment and I’m told that it will take an additional 5 weeks to do the actual work. Again, due to me being available only Wednesday and weekends but 10 weeks overall is quite a delay. The actual work which was great was completed same day within 4 hours. It felt as if their either short staffed or have too many jobs scheduled out but project management/​scheduling could be improved.
My other issue was that no one called to confirm the appointment for the actual work, I tried reaching out to Saber once I got home from work the week that the project was to be completed but I was only able to leave a voicemail as they were closed. I had to call in the day the work was actually being done to confirm for myself that someone was arriving.
I also wanted some type of receipt and for warranty purposes since the polylevel injection comes with a 10 year guarantee. When I originally signed the contract it was done on a tablet and I never received any paperwork. Nait had to request that I get an e-​mail or mailed hard copy after the project was completed.

This is our second encounter with Saber, but the fist time we actually hired them to do the work. The first time (different house), we noticed the doors weren’t shutting correctly, so we called several foundation repair companies to look at the issue and give estimates. They all (except for Saber) told us to spend a ton of money to stabilize the soil on the side of the house that had issues with doors. Then Saber came out, looked in the crawl space under the house, and told us we had a rotten beam under there and to go fix it (about $ 200). So we did, and this was the end of our «foundation» problems.
In our new house, we removed the carpet to install hardwood floors and saw major cracks in the slab, including some with elevation difference between the two parts of the slab. Based on previous experience, we went straight to Saber.
The work was done this past week and we are very pleased! Nait and Rick did an excellent job lifting the foundation and repairing the crack, and took care to keep the dust out of the parts of the house that weren’t being repaired. They were courteous, answered all the questions, and cleaned up the work area before leaving. Great experience!

Within hours of writing my initial review, Brian from Saber called me to express his concerns over the delays and lack of communication and offered to step forward to make things right. We worked out the details and this morning, Nathan Stevens and his crew came by and took care of everything. The team arrived on time, were very thorough and courteous and made sure I was completely satisfied, even inviting me to watch the lift process. He certainly deserves a promotion!
In the end, I’m highly satisfied with the overall service I received from Saber (initial experiences with Daniel notwithstanding), and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anybody who needs their services.

Daniel Gil just did a same day estimate on my 115 year old triplex crawl space. He was incredibly professional and I highly recommend him and Saber Foundation Repair for clear, friendly, timely, and quality service. I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. Thanks for all your help Dan!!!
