Well so far so good.
If you’ve seen my other 2 obgyn reviews you can cell I’m pretty honest…
So when I say that I truly liked Dr Anderson I mean it. The office was clean, front staff was nice and helpful. The doc was attentive and answered my questions. Given it was only first appointment but I’m a firm believer of first impressions…
I would highly recommend Dr Anderson.

I’m 37 weeks and currently seeing Dr. Andersen. I had to change doctors somewhat late in my pregnancy due to change of insurance and was having a hard time finding an OB but he took me without hesitation. His staff has been nothing but kind and professional, they are even wonderful to my daughter who has been dragged along to a few visits with me. Dr. Andersen always takes the time to answer my questions thoroughly even when I know he is super busy. I’m very happy with him and his entire staff and I would surely recommend him to any family or friends.

Dr. Anderson and his staff are truly unprofessional. My wife (12 weeks pregnant) and I saw him for the first time and our first impression was decent. We decided to switch doctors due to switched insurance companies, my wife had made an appointment for a month later, which she totally forgot since he was nor longer her doctor. Long story short, our insurance company decided to tell us that our current doctor does not accept our insurance, so we decided to recontact Dr. Anderson and his office to schedule an appointment for my wife (20 weeks pregnant). Once they realized that my wife had missed an appointment (no call no show) and that we had gone to another doctor, they refused to see my wife. The receptionists told us «since your wife had missed her appointment and never showed up nor called, Dr. Anderson refuses to see her». They said that by wife not showing up for her appointments shows a lot in how she is dealing with her pregnancy. My wife was treated as if she was a neglected mother, they did not want to hear that we were seeing a doctor but could nor longer be seen by him, which caused us to try to return to Dr. Anderson. This office just proved to us that or U. S healthcare is Bullshit, I believe that no one should be refused care, unless they as professionals can’t provide that care and in this situation that’s not the case. Highly recommend people to avoid Dr. Anderson’s clinic, look elsewhere.

Switched to Andersen from Valley OB/​GYN & have been MUCH happier with the visits! He has better bedside manners than my other OB’s and has been very thorough with my visits. He even delivered my cousin’s son via emergency cesarean & that wasn’t even his patient and she said she loved him!

I’m giving dr Anderson the star because I found him very nice. My first visit I was having a rough start to a early pregnancy. He suggested a hormone test to see where things were going. So I gave blood two days apart and waited. Basically I was waiting to see if I was going to miscarry and see if there was a chance this pregnancy was viable. So yeah he said call thurs at 2 to get results. I was very nervous and at 1230 I called hoping maybe they had them. The girl I talked to couldn’t care less and said I’ll have a nurse call u back, only half the results are here. Ok, well whatever I will wait. So 2 comes then 4 then 5, no phone call whatsoever. I’m beginning to doubt my choice is doctors offices. So the next morning no call from them what so ever. I’m thinking I know you are busy and all but you can’t make a 2 minute phone call to give someone results of a test you ordered that were due almost 24 hrs ago? Disappointing. I hold the office staff responsible for that, if they don’t have time for a quick phone call they don’t need a new patient as far as I’m concerned. Whoever I talked to the first time was to lazy to get up and call the lab and get the results. I get the bad reviews on the staff.

Had my first appointment today and could not have been happier. Not only did they squeeze me in for a last minute appointment to just make sure everything was OK (long story) but the girls in the front were kind, patient, and helpful. The doctor came in, checked to see everything was OK and took the time to explain the answers to my questions. So happy with the care I received and happy this is my obgyn for my first baby

I witnessed child abuse in this office on February 3^rd, 2015 and the office staff and Dr. Andersen did NOTHING when I asked if they were going to call the police!!! They said «we did not see it so we can not report anything» A little old sweet lady and I BOTH saw a woman pull her son by the ear from the ground up to his feet, shove him in the corner very hard and pull his other ear while he screamed BLOODY murder and NOT ONE OFFICE STAFF or Dr. ANDERSEN did anything. RUN from this place. First of all it is against the law for them NOT to call the police since it happened in their office. Very sad situation coming from an OB/​GYN that is supposed to be committed to helping children and also delivers babies into this world.
ALSO NOTE: The office girls are VERY gossipy and sit there and ignore people as they talk about people and it is very rude to say the least.!! Plus they called me SIX times from Christmas time to Feb. to tell me to come in for a test and then the day of the incident they told me that I DID NOT need to be seen! All together very unprofessional!

Wow… So I first saw Dr. Andersen when I was pregnant, in my 2^nd trimester, as I’d just changed OBGYN’s. At first he seemed really nice and spent time answering questions, not making me feel rushed. I wasn’t thrilled with the hour wait, at least, for every appointment, but he seemed nicer than my last OB, so I figured whatever. But by 37 weeks pregnant, waiting in a small, cramped, not inviting waiting room with 2 toddlers for OVER an hour was just ridiculous.
After about 2 months of seeing him, one of the nurses asked if I’d given a pee sample her for that particular appt. I told her nobody had instructed me to do so and she said that’s something I should have been doing for every appt. Nobody had ever told me this…
After just a few appointments of experiencing the nice side of him, he became more and more rushed in my appointments. I would be asking a question and he would literally be grabbing the door handle before beginning to answer.
Another huge issue for me was I wanted a tubal ligation at the same time I delivered the baby, which to my understanding talking to other mothers and doctors was very possible and very common. He told me «they don’t do that anymore. They make you wait until months after you have the baby so that you’re really sure about it»… #1 I don’t know who «they» are but I’m sure he just wants more money since it would be two different hospital stays so he would get paid more. #2 this was my THIRD child, this is MY BODY and I’m 100% sure I am done having kids.
When it came time to deliver, I ended up delivering at a hospital he didn’t have privileges with. So when I called after baby was born for a postpartum follow up, the staff gave me attitude because the Dr didn’t deliver the baby and he refused to help in any way with pain management because he didn’t deliver the baby. Due to certain circumstances of the delivery, I was in a great deal of pain and when I asked if the Dr was really unwilling to help AT ALL, the nurses response was, «well if you’re really in pain, maybe you should go to the ER». So much for an empathetic staff or Dr with someone who just pushed out a bowling ball…
I wouldn’t recommend this place at all. Seriously, go anywhere else. You couldn’t pay me to come back.

Not very happy with Dr. Anderson, I had a bad experience on my first prenatal visit… He performed an ultrasound and told me he saw nothing he said I might be in the early stages of miscarriage. He said he wanted to make sure so he sent me straight for lab work to check hcg levels. Then he said he wanted me to go get my blood drawn again in two days to compare the results. He said if the levels doubled then I had a normal pregnancy and maybe the ultrasound was just too early.
He assured me he would call me with results on Friday.
Friday morning I called the office to check if my blood results had came in. The lady I spoke to said I will transfer you to the voice mail to leave a message for the nurse because we are too busy right now and don’t have time to go look for them.
I left a voicemail requesting Dr. Anderson to call me back with lab results. Never heard back from him or the nurse.
I called back at noon and got a recording saying we close at noon on Fridays. Dr. Anderson never called me.
On the recording they have an option that says if this is an emergency press 1 and an operator answers. I told her I was waiting for Dr. Anderson to call me with results. She said she would call him and tell him to call me.
About 30 min later she called me back. She said Dr. Anderson said he is too busy right now and does not have access to your results and will not be able to call you until Monday.
I can understand if it was just routine lab work or something that is not that important… Yes that can definitely wait. But when you are waiting to hear from your doctor to see if your baby is ok or not. That is very important to me and would have appreciated if he had cared a little more.
Having to go through the weekend without knowing what’s going on is the worst part!
You can’t just tell some one you might be having an early miscarriage and not call you back with results. This was very disappointing to me. He was highly recommended to me by a coworker but I will not be returning with Dr. Anderson.
I’m a Nurse my self and I work with doctors as well and I totally understand that we/​they do get super busy but if our doctors tell you they are going to call you with results, they are going to call you! no matter how busy they are, even if it’s 8 a clock at night, because our patients come first and obviously to Dr. Anderson his patients are not his first priority which is not the kind of doctor that I am looking for for my pre-​natal care.

I’m going to give dr anderson one star! Worst doctor I’ve yet come across. I was referred here and thought i was making a good choice after meeting him for the first time. Wow was I way wrong. From the beginning I had a very difficult pregnancy. Each appointment I would tell the doctor something was wrong. I had pain, UTI symptoms, severe vomiting, rapid heartbeat but time and time again without any physical checks, doctor anderson would tell me I was fine. At 22 weeks I was in his office tears streaming down my face begging him to help me and yet again, I was handed a tissue by the female nurse and told what I was experiencing was all normal pregnancy issues. One week later I had a pregnancy loss at 23 weeks because Dr. anderson failed to acknowledge every symptom I had been complaining about, I had ruptured membranes and a massive uterus infection. I had been in several times in the last few weeks before we lost our sweet girl, he just kept reassuring me everything was perfectly fine. I was rushed to mary birch in San Diego after going to the emergency room where I was told I has ruptured my membranes! This doctor doesn’t listen to you, I wished I would have listened to my heart and trusted myself more then this doctor! I hope nobody comes here!

I have read several articles recently about how it is not necessary to have an exam yearly. So I asked to skip a year. The office staff declined my request. Then they asked which insurance I had (I have always been a cash patient because once I used my insurance with them and received bill after bill and it was a headache) and they said they couldn’t see me because they don’t take my insurance. I asked to just pay cash but they said no. It seems to be the way it works but it’s disappointing to say the least. So to update my review: It is disappointing that you cannot choose how often you come. Also, disappointing that I can’t pay cash (maybe not their fault but still irritating). If I was Oprah and wanted to see a doctor not on my insurance plan couldn’t I just pay cash? Guess not.
Also, the lady I spoke with on the phone was no where near warm and fuzzy. She didn’t even attempt to understand that the circumstances were frustrating for me, the patient. So I would agree with the other reviews on that level.

I had such a horrible experience with Dr. Anderson and I hope my story will help other first time mothers from NOT choosing Dr. Anderson. First off, on my first appointment when I first found out I was pregnant, I waited in the waiting room for 2 hours and 15 minutes AFTER filling out paperwork, which they had made me arrive 30 mins early to fill out. So I waited almost 3 hours before I saw him. Once I was in the room, I had many questions, as first time mothers do and wanted to be able to spend time asking them. He basically gave me one word answers and rushed me through all of the questions. I left feeling uneasy but still wanted to give him a chance.
My next appointment a month later I brought my husband with me. Again we waited over an hour and a half to see him, once we were in, he was very short with us and it was almost as if I was a burden to him. My husband was trying to ask him some questions and he wouldn’t even look him in the eye when my husband was talking to him and he was just rude. We left and my husband said we need to find another doctor. Here is the kicker…
I found another doctor and I called Dr. Anderson’s office to make sure they would fax over all of my paperwork to the new doctor so I would be able to see him in time for the next months appointment. They said they would but they recommended me making one last appointment with them just in case the new doctor couldn’t fit me in. I thought that was nice. So I show up three weeks later at the office to my last appointment because my new doctor was unable to fit me in right away. After waiting almost an hour, the nurse calls me to the back but tells me she just needs to talk to me. She says «We actually can’t see you today because we have already sent your chart over to your new doctor» and I explained to her that THEY were the ones who suggested I come today and see him one last time, and I asked her «isn’t that my chart right in your hands?» and she says «Yes but we still can’t see you today.»
My husband hears me getting upset so he comes in the back and asks what is going on and the nurse wont speak to him. Needless to say, they refused to see me that day, even though they were the ones who suggested the appointment. I left in tears and never went back.
Overall, if you are a first time mother PLEASE do not chose Dr. Anderson. He is rude, doesn’t listen to your concerns, and treats you like just another number. Not to mention, his office staff is very rude, very short, and act like they don’t have the time of day for you. I would not recommend him to anyone for anything!

I love Dr Andersen. I went for my first appt for a pap and a 2^nd opinion to confirm my bicournuate uterus (double uterus) and he explained everything to me, answered all of my questions and he’s a really funny guy! He was professional, yet humble, I felt really comfortable with him! I even asked questions about one day having a baby in one of my uterus’s and I’m planning on him delivering him or her. And I’m probably not trying for another year or more. I was skeptical writing a review, because it seems that there are maybe 5 other «hot» obgyns in the area and I don’t want people flooding his office and taking him from me when that time comes, but that would just be selfish of me ;) what sets him apart from other drs is he works alone so you don’t have to worry about another doctor filling in when he’s not available. Whether it’s to do a pap or deliver your baby!

I was fortunate to experience Dr. Andersen’s expertise in diagnosis which made all the difference in my situation. He is both professional as a doctor as well as kind and considerate to answer any questions or concerns.

Dr Anderson is a horrible doctor, he will not even take the time to call his patients if they have concerns. I would not recommend him at all. In addition the office staff are very rude.

Dr. Andersen falsified my medical records after causing a life-​threatening emergency to me. After I was stabilized, he wouldn’t answer mine or my husbands questions, he left the hospital before signing paperwork and didn’t come see me until two days after my delivery. When he did finally come to check on me, he hardly came in the room saying he was fighting a cold. We asked a few questions about my condition and he he wouldn’t acknowledge the harm he had caused or answer our questions. He is not trustworthy.
