I had the .99 tacos chicken and ground beef last Tuesday and I wasn’t crazy about them. They had 6 different salsas, which is nice for variety. Service was good.

Very attentive staff. Very inexpensive. I would never anticipate a taco shop would walk around, clearing plates and asking how the meal was. I highly recommend this place. I’m surprised it isn’t busier.

First time here. Came for taco Tuesday .99 cent each! We got probably 5 different kinds of tacos lol and each of them tasted really good! I think their tortillas had something to do with. They taste homemade. The staff were super nice too! Have to come back and try their other good looking food haha. Definitely coming back for Tuesday’s though;)

Best Taco Tuesday deal. Tacos are only 99 cents each and they taste great. We also got the chicken soup. It tasted like my Tia made it.

I stopped in for some taco Tuesday goodness recently and I love that their tacos are $ 0.99 each. Way better than other competitors’ prices in the neighborhood. I tried a grilled chicken, chicharon, fish, and shrimp taco. I appreciate that they offer variety and that they offer two types of chicken(grilled and shredded). I think their flavors are good and I dig that they offer free chips with their salsa bar. I only deducted a star because the chicken and chicharon tacos were on the cold side when they got to us. I also got some horchata, which was good, but extremely sweet. It’s the same dispenser stuff that’s served at most Mexican spots around here. I haven’t found a spot that makes their own yet, unfortunately. Overall, I think their shrimp tacos are the best out of the bunch, though the crunch of the chicharon is also nice. Worth a stop on taco Tuesday since they’re still good tacos, even if they aren’t piping hot when they get to you. Plus who can say no to free chips and salsa?

This place never disappoints! Great food and tasty salsas. The staff are all super friendly and their customer service is on point. Do not miss Taco Tuesdays here. A buck a taco and they do not skimp on the fillings like other places do during their Tuesday taco promotion.

We were so excited to try this place out only to be merely satisfied with the food we ordered. I will give it three stars because the service was awesome, asides from that everything had NOFLAVOR…

Tuesday night, Taco night. You know the deal. The wife and I wanted to check this place out so we made it the first stop of our fish and shrimp taco tour. After looking at a few of the pictures on Unilocal,my mouth was watering. I needed a taco fix, and I needed it now! We walked in and to our surprise the place was packed. The only seating left was outside and the people kept coming in as we ordered. We ordered two fish tacos and one shrimp(one for the wife, two for me). The tacos comes topped with the standard shredded cabbage and creamy chipotle sauce. I made sure to have them hold off on the yellow cheese. Sorry, shredded cheddar has its place, and my shrimp taco isn’t one of them. Overall the flavors were good. We really liked the light batter on the fish. The flesh was dense and the fried perfectly. The light batter really allowed the fish to carry the taco, and not be overwhelmed by everything on it. The shrimp taco was great. Per the recommendation of my fellow Unilocalers, I made sure to order it with grilled onions, peppers, and cilantro. Super bomb! We found the salsas to be a bit on the salty side, but still spicy with plenty of flavor. An ice cold bottle of Mexican Coke really makes the taco eating experience complete. Overall, we were happy with our food and will definitely return. See you next Tuesday!

Ironically, I haven’t tried their tacos nor beer yet, nor have I danced the Bamba out the door. But I have tried a few things during my couple of visits to La Bamba Tacos & Beer. I’ve had both the California Burrito and Carne Asada Fries at La Bamba. They’re both good portions, with the burrito smaller than other taco shops offer, but at a fair value. The CAF plate was all right, though the fries a bit well done. Again, good portions and value, though. The margaritas aren’t so strong, but there are three different flavors: strawberry, mango, peach. All beer are in bottles at the register. Other notes: the restaurant is easy to find with ample parking available in a shared business lot. It’s a modest space with table seating and a straightforward menu. Along with the standard salsa bar, they offer a wide variety of branded hot sauces, which you can pour over the orders to your heartburn’s content. Street tacos are 99 cents on Tuesdays, so keep an eye out for that bargain. Lots of potential here, especially located along a high traffic corridor. 3.5

Wow! It breaks my heart just a little bit because the Alberto’s across the street has always been our go-to spot for Mexican food… but this place, definitely made a great impression with us! After eyeing a few of my Unilocal friend’s pictures of this place, I finally came by tonight for their Taco Tuesday with the wife… the tacos are small/street taco style, so you’ll definitely have to get at least 3 or 4! And I wanted SO bad to try their michelada, but I’m saving that for the next trip because I know we’re going to come back! Their salsa bar had a really good variety of items, but will definitely be an issue during busy times because of how small it is in the corner. The complimentary chips always came out warm, and the mango margarita was fantastic for the price! Our grand total for 7 tacos and a margarita was just under $ 11… you seriously can’t beat that! My next visit will definitely consist of a carne Asada burrito and a michelada… I can’t wait to go back! :)

I booked marked La Bamba Tacos & Beer a few weeks ago when I saw their new sign on Murrieta Hot Springs. Today I finally made it over during lunch to give them a try. Upon walking in I was pleasantly greeted by a warm and friendly lady, a clean and great looking restaurant. I order a wet carna asada burrito and a drink. The total came out to just over $ 10. I was stoked to see that they did offer complimentary chips and that they had a great salsa bar. The person I was with took advantage of their taco Tuesday special getting 4 tacos for just $.99 each. When the food came it looks great … so we dug right in. The food was a bit disappointing. I can’t stand crewy/fatty meat and their carna asada was both. It lack flavor and just wasn’t great. It wasn’t the worse I have ever had, but it was«meh, I’ve experiences better.» The sauce that came on top was good, as was the rice and the beans, but let’s be honest, I didn’t spend $ 8 on a burrito for good rice and beans. I was disappointed. The same went for the tacos. They weren’t bad, but I have had way better. Where things got started off great the food was disappointing. If the optertunity comes up, I will give them another try, but for now they get a three star review, «A-OK»

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a huge smile and warm hello from the employee behind the counter. There is a good amount of selection on the menu. I ended up getting a carne asada burrito with beans, cheese, and sour cream. The lady helping us was very accommodating. She kept checking if we were okay with certain ingredients and if we wanted to add more of anything or less. The setup is kind of like Chipotle where they add all the condiments in front of you behind the counter. There was only two ladies working today but they were very fast and cleaned as they prepared. My burrito was good. I liked the beans the most and the fact they didnt skimp me on sour cream. The carne asada was tender but had more pieces of fat than I care for. The Horchata isn’t fresh like I like it to be. Its from the fountain machine. If I had saw the sign for $ 2.99 Margaritas before I ordered, I would of definitely tried one of those. Next time!
