A-1 Plumbing Heating & Air Conditioning

I was looking for someone that would give a free estimate for repairs on my air conditioning unit. I talked to them over the phone and asked if there was any charge for them to come out here, and they assured me that they give free estimates (note the change in language, it’s important here). After not coming the first day they said they would, I stayed home from work the next day so I could get them to look at the unit. They spent about five minutes looking at it, saw some leaks from the outside of the unit, and told me that it’s a big job but that I should contact the business that put it in. No real diagnosis, no examination to see if there were any further issues beyond what was immediately apparent, just a recommendation to call someone else. Before leaving, they were kind enough to give me a bill for $ 65. They give ‘free estimates’ that involve charging you for coming out there. So they came out to my house a day late, did nothing but told me to call someone else, and charged me a ridiculous fee after saying there would be no charge. Call someone else for your AC needs!
