Mike is the man. Fixed it very quick. Highly recommend. Fast service good customer service.

My AC went out when it was 115 degrees this past weekend and my wife is pregnant. This guy Mike Rizzo came through order and picked up a unit in one day installed it the next day. Hands down the best customer service I have ever experienced. Now the AC is blowing ice cold and my wife is happy.

To be honest. I liked their timeliness and professionalism. I did not like the fact that their service charge was $ 75, when my AC wasn’t broken. The gentleman came in, removed the backing to both furnaces. He went to my electrical box, flipped two switches and both furnaces were working. To be honest, they could have reduced the charge, knowing that they did not really do much and it was a flip of a switch. Really unsure if I would rely on them for service. Since I was not outside when they worked on the furnaces, I have no proof that they did not manually change my electrical box while I wasn’t there.

If you ever have any HVAC issues, Mike Rizzo is the man to call! When our AC was blowing warm air, we called several businesses recommended by Facebook friends and Unilocal.Mike was the only one that answered his phone and was able to come to our house within 2 hours and fix our AC. Mike is 3^rd gen and takes great pride in his business! Rizzo is the only company I’ll ever call to fix our HVAC issues.

One of my air conditioning compressors was not working at all. With hot weather approaching, repairing the unit was not an option.
Called Rizzo after a family member had a positive experience with them. Within two hours, Mike Rizzo came by to diagnose the problem. Mike was friendly and very personable. Within a couple of minutes Mike identified the issue as a blown capacitor and installed a replacement part. Air conditioning started right up and began to cool imediately.
Honest and trustworthy local firm.

Today Rizzo Heating and Air Conditioning finished the a/​c and heating unit (2) replacement. They started on Wednesday morning and completed the job by noon on Friday. This involved removing my two heat units and evap units from upstairs (2 story house) and reinstalling new super efficient units and reworking my attic air ducts. They also replaced the two a/​c compressor units outside as well. The owner, Mike Rizzo 3^rd generation owner was on the job leading his crew the whole time, very hands on and really knowledgeable. Mike and his crew were neat, wore shoe booties when walking inside my home. They cleaned up all trash and debris every day and vacuumed where they were working. I just cant say enough about Mike Rizzo and his crew they were fabulous! Everything that was supposed to be done was done, no glitches, no damage to my house. I highly recommend Rizzo Heating and A/​C if you are in the market for replacing older units. Totally, totally satisfied… delighted! Thanks Mike Rizzo!

This is the second time we’ve used Rizzo, and the service was excellent. Mike came out within a day of our initial call and had the problem pinpointed and taken care of quickly. He is really good at explaining what the issue might be and how he systematically figures out the problem. I highly recommend this company and will continue to use them as needed.

Excellent customer service! First time they came over I wasn’t home. Technician came back, and fixed my unit and was very honest about his work completed. Recently had the back out which I had the same technician, Mickey. He fixed the unit again which was a bad wire, no charge! I appreciate their honesty and promptness (both calls were taken care of the day of call). Thanks!

Sometimes I think a repair company has time to fit me in because nobody uses them. it the case of Rizzo, I now believe that it’s because of their effectiveness in the way they do business.

My AC unit went out and I did my usual and checked Unilocal and online for a good HVAC. Was a little hesitant cause I saw one review that hammered them on price but I figured I would give them a try because of all the other great reviews. Mike Rizzo (3^rd generation family owner) came out the same day and replaced my capacitor. He explained to me everything that was going on and didn’t try to up sell me or add on any extra unnecessary costs. He showed me the price for the repair out of a cost book so I know he wasn’t making it up as he went along (which is a big deal to me).
If you want quality parts, reasonable price, and to be treated fairly call Rizzo!

Mickey, Jerry and Mike are the best! I wish I would have used them when I installed a new HVAC system 5 years ago. I wanted to install a new «smart» thermostat (Ecobee) which unfortunately, I found was not smart on my part. I called Rizzo due to their excellent reviews and I couldn’t be more impressed and pleased. Mickey and Jerry spent a considerable amount of time due to the ecobee still having some «bugs» and previous sloppy (my word) work/​wiring however, Rizzo’s service fees were more than reasonable and fair. Mickey, Jerry and Mike are not only very professional and experienced, their customer service is second to none.

I’m sitting comfortably in my home thanks to Mike at Rizzo Heating and Air. Called this morning and set up an afternoon appointment. He was on time, courteous, and knowledgable. Had Mickey out this morning to figure out why my ac wasn’t kicking in. Turns out bad thermostat. Was $ 275 to be replaced and installed which seems expensive but now it’s done and was quick and painless. Thank you for the fast service!
that was my original post but now that I know a thermostat costs a whole $ 35 I am extremely disappointed and feel taken advantage of. My husband was away for work and it was 104 degrees that week so I felt as if I had no other choice. Will never call them again.

Called for a diagnostic on my air system for my home. A guy from Rizzo air came within 2hrs & within only a few min said I need 2 brand new capacitors for $ 300 each. That’s $ 600 total!
I told him I need a second opinion, so he charged me $ 75 to come out. I advised him that nobody advised me of this charge, he argued that they definitely did when I know they didn’t. I was adamant that they didn’t, so he disregarded the charge & left me the quote for $ 600
I called Amber Air, which came out within 30 min & they did explain the fee of $ 65 to come out, they also did a proper diagnostic. Wired one unit correctly & replaced only one capacitor. Not two! For $ 159 per capacitor!!! Not $ 300!!! They also replaced all three filters in my home so my air flows smoothly.
Total charge for wiring, new capacitor (with 5yr warrantee), 3 filters & courteous & prompt customer service… ?
306.20!!!
