Painting with a Twist is your answer to fun with a concept that pairs instructional art with a lively instructor to produce individual works of art. Get your Twist at our Inspiration Bar, bring your favorite snack, your family and friends, and enjoy step-​by-​step instruction with our experienced and enthusiastic local artists. You’ll leave with a one-​of-​kind piece of art and a new found talent you’ll want to explore.

Painting with a Twist is also the perfect venue for private parties. From birthday and bachelorette parties to date nights and corporate team building events, we can help you celebrate anything. Join one of our classes, or contact us to schedule a private event just for you and your guests.

We provide all painting supplies and artist instruction. No art experience is needed. Simply be ready to have a Twisted good time! With most classes, we do wine education for $ 5 extra at the door. You will be served about 10oz of wine throughout the event. Food and non alcoholic beverages are allowed but not provided. No BYOB. We look forward to seeing you in one of our classes!

History

Established in 2011.

Corks N Canvas was started in 2007 by Cathy Deano and Renee Maloney in Mandeville, Louisiana. The concept pairs instructional art with friends, wine and a lively instructor to produce individual works of art. With four locations in the Greater New Orleans Area, the company began franchising the business as Painting with a Twist® in 2009. To date, 229 franchise locations are open all over the country. Headquartered in Mandeville, Louisiana the company maintains the artwork copyrights and brand direction of the franchise locations to insure that every location produces the same fun experience by which the company was founded.

Painting with a Twist® (formerly Corks N Canvas) is the largest employer of aspiring artists in the country. The company recognized early on that the talents and enthusiasm of the staff were key elements to the success of the product. Painting with a Twist, along with our 229 franchise locations, has produced and owns the copyright to over 3,500 pieces of art.
