History

Established in 2014.

Continental Studios was founded in 2014 by Damien Launay. Damien graduated from MTSU with Bachelors of Science in Audio Production and a minor in Business Administration. Previous to Continental Studios, Damien has recorded at The Walnut House in Murfreesboro, TN. He has also worked with studios such as Kilowatts Studio (Murfreesboro), Black Fox Entertainment (Nashville), and The Record Shop (Hermitage).

Damien’s love for music started in early highschool while he was attending The Webb School in Bell Buckle, TN. He began making beats and remixes using FL Studio and soon set up his first recording booth using a closet and blankets for soundproofing. He dabbled in Hip-​Hop while sparking an interest in EDM (Electronic Dance Music). Damien released 3 EDM Albums (Dubstep Reasons, Fragment, and Sativa) onto iTunes in the genres of House, Drum & Bass, and Dubstep, before releasing a Hip-​Hop EP in April of 2014.
