The Artist Within is the kind of place you can have a girls night out, paint something totally fantastic then have dinner at one of the great restaurants downtown. Then take your kids or nieces for a fun day of painting, giggles and bonding while teaching them to appreciate the arts. You have a choice of ceramics to paint. They fire them in the kiln and you pick it up a week later.
They have a variety of items to choose from. From plates to mugs, piggy banks to magnets, and a bunch of colors to choose from. Their paint is all food safe, so if you do paint a plate or cup, you can use it!
Things are price from $ 5 to about $ 20 and up. They have a small art gallery and you can buy art pieces from local artists.
They also have a room for parties! The staff is helpful and it’s a relaxed and fun atmosphere. My children had a lot of fun.
