Kada Pest Management

Posting on behalf of my husband: I want to give a huge thanks to Dale and Dennis.
I was having my roof worked on and we discovered a carpenter ant infestation. Time was of the essence and I didn’t know what to do. Dale cleared his schedule and was to my house in less than an hour from the time I called. He found the satellite nest, sprayed and did a thorough inspection of the house, including my crawl space. He was knowledgeable, passionate and thorough in his work.
Dennis came by last week to seal up my crawl space and the vents around the foundation to protect against rodents. Not only did he do great work but he came back yesterday to repair the frame of one of the vents which had begun to rot. When I got home I noticed that he went above and beyond and replaced the wood.
I couldn’t be more impressed with the customer-​first attitude by Kada and highly recommend their services.

I contacted Orkin and Kada at the same time. Orkin took 24 hours to get back to me snd then with just an email! Kada scheduled quickly and the technician, Dennis, was right on time. He was polite and very helpful. Such a great experience that I signed up for a service. Thank you.

Carpenter bees were boring holes through my window sills. Or so I thought. Called Kada — got an appointment within 12 hours. He came early, took one look at them and said they were mason bees. He showed us that they weren’t boring holes in the window sills, but instead bringing their own dirt into the sills to lay their eggs. He said he could charge us to get rid of them, but they were beneficial and not harming the wood or getting into the house, and don’t normally sting. He even caught one and petted it. He didn’t charge us a dime. This guy is honest and reliable — and he educated us. He is my pest guy for life.

Seattle apparently has a rat problem and one of them got into our house. Other home-​owners say they’ve had rats in their house so it’s common in Seattle. Kada came over THREE times to make sure the rat got out and checked the home for entry points. They are not afraid of rats! I definitely don’t want to touch them, so I am glad they are not afraid to do the dirty work. The pricing was fair and service was good.

1) Showed up 10 min. early. Awesome.
2) Super professional & courteous — jumped right to the problem I was having (ants) and proceeded to scope out the house (and underneath) to see how far the damage had gone.
3) Did the treatment, gave me a fair assessment on scheduled service (which was not a ‘sell’) and some advice on how to repair the damage & prevent further issues.
My experience seemed consistent with other reviews, I’d use them again without hesitation. Hope I don’t have to…

We purchased a home in Sept 2014 and Kada generously offered to continue our quarterly services without the standard new-​home assessment since we’d only used his services for 1 month.
We have been very pleased with Kada for almost a year now. The quarterly service is GREAT bc it also covers any additional calls /​visits that arise. Do asking him back
Out 2 times cost nothing additional and his service was still superb.
Kada Treats its customers like good family. It is a rare quality business in an age of ridiculous businesses. Trust him!

It is so rare these days to find a company that is just truly honest and fair and actually enjoys doing a good job. Dale is a true bug expert — he’s actually an entymologist. Can you imagine my luck finding this guy? He takes real joy in sleuthing out the source of the problem and what will actually fix it. I’d done a fair amount of research online before calling for pest management and really wanted someone who would get to the heart of the matter. He brought so much more to the project than I ever could have figured out myself (without getting an Entymology degree). I’m also really happy to be working with a husband and wife team — total professionals. Don’t ever change KADA! You are a godsend.

I don’t have many experiences with rodents or pests, but recently my attic had a rustling noise and as it turned out we had rats. I called KADA and within 2 days Dale (the owner) was at my house, had laid traps and diagnosed the problem as well as the entrance points. I am huge with customer service and business integrity and being a business owner my self I am very particular in who I choose to do business with. I was so impressed I hired him to maintain my business too! Dale was extremely knowledgable, friendly, Thorough and HONEST. I know friends who have spent thousands of dollars because their pest company told them the sky was falling and sold them every unnecessary service they offered. That was not the case with KADA, Dale showed me everything he could do and even showed me how to save money and fix some entrance points myself — name one business that has that much integrity?! I can’t say it enough, if you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having to deal with pests, call these guys because they are legit!

I took a chance given the high Unilocal ratings — Kada Pest Management is definitely worth the stars! I have a sugar ant problem that was driving me bonkers and have a party to host in 2 days. Rebecca in the office was able to schedule me same day as my call, and Dale (owner) came out to take care of the problem. He was in and out of my house in approximately one hour, did the interior injections and sprayed all around the perimeter of the house, and so far so good, no more ants.
Dale was patient in explaining what different solutions were available to take care of my ant problem, he was knowledgeable with ants, and offered to come back (no charge) to spray again if they came back. He did not make me feel stupid for asking questions. Plus, he was extremely reasonable in what he charged given the scope of work he preformed. I would recommend him readily to anyone who has pest problems, ants or otherwise.

This company is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. Dale came out same day to investigate a mouse problem. He spent over an hour at our house, showing me all the problem areas, and explained everything in great detail. He then set some traps and came back a week later to remove them and set up a more permanent solution. A month later we had some bees nests pop up on a portion of the roof top high to reach, so he came out, without an additional charge, and took care of them.
Not only does Dale do incredible work, he’s also an amazingly kind guy and as honest as they come. I will be having him back out 3 – 4 times a year for pest management and I will HIGHLY recommend him to everyone I know. THE BEST!!!

After calling 3 different pest control places I ended up going with Kada Pest Management out of Lynnwood (206.714.7650). From my initial contact I had a good feeling about this service and Dale the owner. He was very forthcoming with useful information (as well as cost) and I actually learned alot about the different types of ants and what draws them, prevention, etc. Excellent customer service, which is something I really look for because I’m a strong believer that a «product» is only as good as its customer service is. He fulfilled every promise promptly and guarantees his work. Also, his prices were better than the others.

Dale came to treat my new home for a number of unwelcome critters/​bugs. He was early, super friendly and very informative. He walked me through everything he did and explained the importance of things I did not understand. He went above and beyond and even helped out with a completely separate issue I was having with my home at the time! I was so impressed I vowed to refer him to all my clients. I will see him occasionally for annual treatments if necessary, but wouldn’t mind running into him around town he was such a nice guy! Thanks Dale!

I feel mostly blindfolded searching for services I don’t normally use on the net. You just never know what you are going to get, but happy to say one call to Dale at Kada way surpassed my expectations in terms of customer service. Dale went out of his way to stop by for an estimate in between jobs, gave us a solution as well as took extra time to find the cause. I almost feel like Dale should rename the company «Extra Mile» because that’s the extent in which he goes. Blindfolds off… I wouldn’t hesitate calling Kada again.

Truly amazing service. Dale with Kada Pest Management is an expert, and super-​nice. We had a flea and spider problem and initially I wasn’t sure what to do because I have a cat with sensitive skin. Now I’m very comfortable with having my house treated. Dale is very knowledgeable and uses natural products — no impact on me or the cat.
I recently discovered signs that an animal was living in my garage and called Kada on a Sunday night, The next day, Dale was at my house and took care of the problem with ease. I was so relieved! Fantastic Customer Service! After moving into our new home in West Seattle we discovered tons of creepy crawly ginormous spiders, as well as wasps and other lovely bugs inside and all around outside. We called Dale with Kada Pest Management and he was able to work around my chaotic schedule, and got out here as soon as possible.
He was so knowledgable, friendly, detail orientated, and really walked me through the whole process. We now feel more comfortable with our two little ones playing outside and not worrying about anymore unwelcome visitors inside our house!

With a rodent issue under my house as well as going into my basement, I was truly frantic for someone I could trust to help me out. I am so thankful to have found Dale. He made it over the same day, which was huge as I was very stressed about this situation. He was very kind to me.
Dale explained the process and told me about the products he uses. He also did a thorough inspection all around my home, finding where the rats were finding their way into the crawl space and also where they were likely to try (called soft spots!). He inspected the basement and attic as well. He was extremely knowledgeable about the pest portion of his business, and well educated with the codes regarding home construction issues (such as how to install the vapor barrier and how many inches down my foundation should be into the ground), among many other things. As a single mom of a vulnerable adult child, it’s important for me to trust the people who come into my home, not just that they will do great work, but that they are also good people. We will maintain our professional relationship with Dale, Karen and Caleb permanently, as long as they’ll have us! Caleb is a sweet little boy and is quite helpful to his Dad. They are a great team.
Prices were very reasonable. I would have been willing to pay more for all we are getting from this business, so they are well worth it! I’m thankful it was affordable for me since I am a single mom with some money struggles. I trust and know what needs to be done, is done correctly.
I feel safe in Kada Pest Management’s hands. My dogs are also safe with the products they use, which is vital. I highly recommend this family-​owned business.

I had wasps boring holes into the walls of my house and could hear them eating their way in. It was very creepy and unsettling. Dale came and promptly identified where the wasps were coming in from and without upsetting the nest, sprayed the area and repaired the hole. He was safety conscience as well making sure I was inside the house in case the wasps started coming out. We never had issues with them again. He also noticed we had some tiny ants living in the cracks of our garage and gave us some nifty traps to take care of the issue. He was very knowledgable and professional and will definitely use him again if we ever have another pesky problem!
