Keith Ly, DO PS

I’m not going to bother detailing all the nonsense I went through with Dr. Keith Ly as other reviewers’ photos/​articles about his federal crimes should suffice to drive the point home, but he kept baiting me to come back with promises of a free visit/​incorrect diagnoses of my ailments only to charge me crazy amounts that I had to spend over a year debating with my health care plan for. He would pick up the phone to schedule new appointments, but block numbers of existing, displeased customers so no one could talk to him. Obviously, I got my money back since he’s a felon, but it was a huge pain and waste of my time. If by some miracle his office is still open, avoid it at all costs.

Oh, and read the last part if you’re still considering being one of his patients.

This person has been charged and convicted of several crimes. The Dept. of Health found several violations that affect his patients. The public and his patients have the right to know about all this true and accurate information!

is the most thoughtful and caring doctor I have ever met. For years I been struggling with my health and every doctor I saw told me that nothing was wrong with me. So much so that I began to believe that was all in my head. But the pain is real and it was only Dr. Ly who took his time to listen to all my symptoms and finally diagnosing me with Lupus and other related conditions.
I am amazed by the passion and care he invests into his job and his patients. I am certain that if I had never met him I would still be misdiagnosed by other doctors leaving my condition un-​treated and at risk of possibly losing my life.
Since he started treating me he has never ignored any of symptoms and concerns. He is always on point and always does his best to help.
I believe that these reviews should only focus on the doctor and patient relationship and not on what may or may not be going on outside the clinic.
It saddens me that some people taken it upon themselves to post anything else that is outside of their personal experience with their physician.

This criminal will serve time in jail with his paid Tram Trish Bui. he arested for growing weed. Good Luck Mr Crimial.

I was exceptionally disappointed with my visit to Keith Ly. Here are the reasons:
1. The office is extremely shabby, which doesn’t make me feel confident in him as a doctor.
2. I went in for a sinus infection, and the first thing the medical assistant wants me to do is get blood work (to be run in office) b/​c «he just likes to check to see that you’re not anemic or anything». Really? Or he wants to charge me for lab work.
3. I was no longer running even a low-​grade fever, and Ly wants to put me on 10 days of antibiotics PLUS give me an antibiotic shot in the office. This seemed extremely excessive, considering I’ve never even been given more than a Z-​pack for even severe strep throat — and that my current symptoms are not severe.
4. Without giving me any real information, Ly tells me to wait and his assistant is going to come back with a «breathing» something. Up until this point, he’s only mentioned that I should steam frequently to clear out my nasal congestion — then the assistant comes back with a breathing machine and two tubes of Albuterol. I ask what it’s for (since I’m only aware of it as a treatment for asthma) and she says it’s to clear things out. I explain that I have nothing going on in my lungs and that Ly didn’t explain this to me, so I’d rather not do anything without an explanation.
Overall, I felt like Ly was more concerned with giving me «treatments» that were billable than dealing with my actual ailment. Needless to say, I will NOT be going back every again.

I had a awful experience, I went in for a back injury. I was checked in and asked to do a flu shot twice, so i said yes. After that my blood presure was taking. I was waiting for the dr and they come in wanting a urine test and blood work before I even see the Dr. I said ok, evewn though I didn’t want to. Dr comes in, he is in a rush. He was very aggressive poking at my back, twisted me into a adujustment with asking or telling. Then said he was going to do a couple of shots in my back. Again at that point i should have said no but I didn’t. The dr prescribed some medication for me. The next day i was in worse pain, I called the office and I was told the doctor couldn’t prtescribe narcotics. Hmmmm I wonder why. He lost or never had one. But you advertise to be a family practice. I find it crazy that he practices like this. If you read the other reviews he has a open complaint with the medical broad. End result I saw another doctor the next day and that doctor said he should have never done what he did. Please Dr Ly do not response to this comment, nothing you can change will change my experience.

I was told to sign a paper with a list of procedures before my appointment. I told the girl at the desk «why do I need to sign this when he hasn’t even done any of these procedures?» She told me «after the appointment he circles what he did» so then why do I sign BEFORE and not AFTER so I can see what he circles? I was charged for the most random things! There is a fee for a shot and a fee for the TIME it takes to administer a shot! Wow… I felt that some things were unnecessary, I was charge for things he never did. Stomaching a $ 700 bill for a UTI is a hard pill to swallow.

Very qualified and good to his patients doctor. I’ve seen him walk his patients to their car or talk with them in the lobby. The nurse is friendly and knowledgable and I had only good experiences dealing with her.
If you’re looking for a family doctor or a doctor who specializes in cosmetics/​derm, Keith Ly is definitely worth meeting with.

Easy to book appointments and open Saturdays. Dr Ly is knowledgeable and efficient. Regardless of other reviews, he’s always taken the time to explain the issue to us and suggest different alternatives for treatment. Will keep coming back!

If I could give zero stars I would. Why? False advertising, bait and switch, NOT HONORING A WRITTEN AGREEMENT!
The details for those who want them: I recently purchased a Dealfind Voucher for Purely Skin Medical, Dr, Keith Ly’s clinic, that was for «1 Year of Unlimited Laser Hair Removal Sessions on 3 Body Parts.» The voucher went on to specify that «The following count as 1 individual body part: chin, lip, front of neck, underarms, hands, feet, abdomen line, or bikini line. The following counts as 2 individual body parts: Brazilian bikini, lower legs, or forearms.» So I called to make my appointment to have my lower legs (2 body parts) and underarms (1 body part, equaling the 3 body parts allowed total) done.
First they tried telling me that I had to purchase 2 vouchers to get the lower legs done. Um, that’s absolutely NOT what the voucher says. We went back and forth on this. Then they tried telling me my voucher had expired, even though it does not expire until June 2013. Finally, as a compromise, they tried offering me 6 treatments on my lower legs only. All of this was per Dr. Keith Ly himself.
I purchased a voucher that would allow unlimited treatments on my lower legs and underarms, why would I accept less? You would think someone of the medical profession would have a little more integrity than to stoop to this level. It really makes me question his skill and professionalism if he is so blatantly dishonest.

Yes I do plan to contact the Attorney General and the Health Department. I recommend you do the same when you encounter businesses that ignore written agreements and flout the law.

i saw him for about 6 months. his bedside manner is horrible, he is rude pushy condescending and mean. he runs unnecessary tests and does useless procedures to pad your bill. he is all about the money and really does not care about his patients. the office is cluttered and dirty. the staff is not knowledgeable at all and would call me with information that a test result had come back low or high and then not only be able to tell me what i should do about that, but not even be able to tell me what that test result had to do with what part of my physiology. he acts like he knows it all and you really want to have confidence in that, but it is all a show to get your money believe me go somewhere else.

I did not like his bed side manner at all. The way he acts like he is better then you is not cool. i would not recommend him to know one.

AWFUL! Could hardly understand Dr. Ly when he was talking to me and had to ask him to slow down and repeat things (Talks to fast and has an accent). Both times I came I felt as though Dr. Ly was being pushy and wanted me in & out as fast as possible. Office was unkept, and to top it all off, the staff was very rude over the phone when trying to gather information because they did not send lab information to my insurance so I never got notified that the payment went to collections and now I’m having to deal with it on my own.
I don’t recommend anyone visit this office.

I recently went to Dr. Ly for botox. Awful. I have had botox a number of times before from an excellent Dr., but I bought Dr. Ly’s deal on a popular deal sit thinking it would be great to save a few $. WORST IDEA. As soon as I walked into the office I had a feeling I should leave and call the deal site to somehow get my money back. The office was run down and dirty. The girl checking me in was rude and made me feel like I was inconveniencing her.
Once in the exam room, the girl who first met with me was very nice. She is probably the only thing good going for this place. The exam room itself felt so sketchy and unorganzied. When Dr. Ly came in, he was condescending and VERY pushy. I felt like he was just trying to get me in, upsell me, and get me out as soon as possible. He insisted that each «area» requires 20 units of botox. This is the worst approach a Dr. could take! Every person is different and needs to be treated specificallly when it comes to botox. I know this based on my past experiences with botox and Dr. Ly wanted to do WAY more than my previous Dr. Against my better judgement, I went ahead and let him give me botox. Now I have an over frozen foreheard and droopy eyebrows that make me look OLDER and tired or sad constantly because he used too much and in the wrong places rather than taking the time to personalize the treatment for me. DO NOT go to him!!! You will regret it, I promise! Go to a reputable Dr. in Seattle, Bellevue or Kirkland. Stay away from this place.

Very SKETCHY… The botox worked but Dr. Ly (if he is a doctor) was unprofessional and creepy. The office is unkept and looks very unhygienic. RUN DON“T WALK!!!

This doctor keep is always so in a hurry to see his patient. Some of my information on his medical records are wrong. He always get your urine test and blood test with out your consent and even when your not fasting. He do not take any notes and when your in pain he just give you injection even thou you do not want it. He say anything on your medical records and it is not accurate and not correct. He said that I have a daughter, ngek i have a son. he just sort of place anything he wants or maybe he just let his stafff say anything on all his patient records. I do not want to place any stars here but i cannot post without a star. You better place a big 0 star here Unilocal.I ask for my medical records that is when i saw all his wrong diagnostic and wrong information. Not a good doctor to recommend.
