The billing practices of this provider are sketchy at best and leave a lot to be desired.
Stay away from using this contracted provider if possible.

If you can avoid using this contracted service, do so. Check with your hospital to be sure they do not use this company for any type of hospital service (xray, scans, etc.). They have poor billing practices. My son’s service was in December in 2012. They did not bill my insurance on time. I am now with another employer and have new insurance, but since SVDI could not collect from my previous insurance through their own fault, they are now sending my son to collections. They should have just written off the bill. I had insurance to cover this service and because they made an error, they are now chasing us for this bill. It is now August of 2014 and they still want their money even though the contract between them and the insurance carrier notes that they cannot collect funds from a patient for a given service covered by the insurance. They have ignored my letters and when I call the billing office, they tell me that they are still instructed to collect from their main office. Which is… where?
