Shell Gas Station

I don’t get what the management of this Shell is thinking. Their gas price as this Shell is at least a couple of 0.20 per gallon higher than other Shells that are less than a mile away. Do they serve higher quality gas than other places? I think not

It’s a busy morning & I came to fill my tank, then park in their small space to get Starbucks near by. I thought, great; one stop shopping. But No! A tanker blocked me in for 30 minutes as he filled the station tanks.
Who decided 9 am was a good time to do this? This is when all cars are going somewhere.
Horrible decision & timing. Think about your customers a bit more!

It does the job.
Not too many pumps, 3 stations so 6 pumps if I can recall correctly. It’s right by where I work though so pretty useful just be careful to avoid the after school rush the high schoolers tend to create.

Unfortunately, this Shell location is not my first choice for fueling. While the station is relatively spacious, the pumps are usually always occupied and there are long lines at times.
Perhaps the most troublesome issue is the employees. This location does not have a Mini Mart (the employees have a small kiosk). My card wasn’t working one visit and I went up to the kiosk. The employee was in the back part of the small room, completely oblivious to my presence. I personally find this rude and unacceptable at a gas station (the employee should be watching the pumps at all times). When she did come to the window, she was rude and not accommodating.
I won’t be going to this location often!

I used to love this Shell, it had the best prices around. Recently though, they have upted their prices and the service is a bit under staffed. I tried to use one of those Lucky Fuel rewards cards and they would not take it and would decline my credit card. I even called the Credit Card company to see if there was a problem with my account and she said it was in perfect order. She said that it was a problem with the station, I asked the girl in the security box and she had no idea of what to do about letting my card thru. Also thier pumps alway seem to run, even when you are finished pumping the gas, the meter is still rolling. This happened to me on more than a few occasions, when I ask the girl in the security box, once again she had no idea. What I have found, is that if I go to any other Shell Station in the area, you will get better service.

My daughter lost her gas cap at this station, and when I called to ask if they would look for it, the woman hung up on me and then refused to take my calls. Unbelievably bad customer service. We will NOT be using this station ever again!

$ 34 didn’t even get me 10 frigging gallons of Shell gas… eeeerrrrr…
Regular unleaded $ 3.43 a gallon… yikes, sis, boom bah Silicon Valleyinite… we’ve been bamboozelled by octane fumes seeping from the fundamental handles that a$$ grab our tank holes.

This is one of the more expensive Shells. Next time I’ll choose a cheaper one and do it before my empty light comes on so I can better select a gas staion.

It’s always $.30-.40 more expensive than the nearby shell location at 790 el Camino.

I have finally had it with this gas station. The people who work here are so rude and clueless, I would rather drive miles out of my way to get gas elsewhere than patronize this place. This is despite the fact that this Shell Gas station is within view of my house. There seems to be a dopey factor on the application for requiring who works there. God forbid you have any problems working the pumps, the air hose or anything else in the place because if you need the workers in this station to emerge from the cashier’s booth, they act as if you are asking them to vacate a bomb shelter before the mushroom cloud has even cleared. During what will forever be known now as my final visit to this station yesterday, the pump did not want to take my debit card as payment. I had used this card here many times so this was odd. Once I coaxed the employee out of the cashier’s booth, she proceed to accost the pump by pressing every button and banging on the screen before mumbling something I didn’t understand and walking away. I stood there for a moment thinking she’d return. When I realized she had moved on, so did I —- too another gas station! Goodbye Miramonte Shell!

Never a long wait. The prices are average. I live nearby, but I only go here if really need gas in my car and can’t make it to my usual spot.
Although they put in TVs at each station which starts playing commercials when you start to pump gas. I mean, I’m already paying up to $ 3 a gallon… do I really need to be sold on Jack in the Box?

The neighborhood gas station which I run by every other day. It gives me a gauge on how gas prices are in the bay area and surprisingly one of the lower priced stations in the area considering he proximity to Los Altos. I’ve however found 2 proportionally cheaper gas stations in Sunnyvale/​Santa Clara close to work which gives me a gas price triangulation :)

This is a convenient Shell, where the wait usually isn’t too bad. It is near Safeway, Longs, and the Post Office, as well as some restaurants.
