Established in 1981.

It has been our pleasure to serve Northern California for over 33 years. We are a family owned business now in its second Generation that prides itself on maintaining sound customer service skills and quality work at a reasonable price. It’s no surprise that we have become one of the largest Collision repair shops in northern California. More than 85% of our business is due to word of mouth from loyal customers that have needed our services from time to time.

We are a family owned business, now being that I am part of the Third Generation working with this awesome team we have assembled. I have been blessed to have not only have a hard working striving immediate family but also a strong team that I consider my Family. Our mission is to provide our customer with the highest level of professional service and quality repairs at a reasonable price. We will strive to complete each vehicle in a timely manner, always upholding factory standards, never sacrificing quality and preserving the safety of the occupants is our main objective. We will maintain a well-​trained, courteous staff, and a clean, organized work environment. I used this shop back in 2011 when it was called C&C and had a great experience. Even with the new name, figured I’d come back. I got bumped by a coworker in the parking lot. My car is 16+ years old, so even though there were a few scratches, I didn’t want to bother replacing the bumper, new paint job, etc. Danielle was the person that helped me do the estimate, super friendly. I explained that I just wanted the bumper repaired as cheaply as possible, and asked if they could just remount it (and ignore the scratches). She said sure, and since I couldn’t stay longer that morning, I made an appointment. I brought it in on another day, and the job was done so quick, they decided to not even charge me. Great customer service!

This was one of the recommended shop by my insurance. I narrowed down my search to Pan America in Mountain View due to Unilocal Reviews and their work on German Cars. Took my Mercedes 2012 C250 to the Pan America after making an appointment. Damage was on Passenger side door and rocker panel.
Danielle was the lady who handled everything with my car and she was very informative, friendly and professional. I met with her when I dropped of my car, and she explained everything in detail and answered any other questions I had.
I dropped my car off after making the appointment, Since I didn’t have rental car coverage they offered me a ride. The repairs to my car took exactly 4 days as promised even though getting parts from MB was not not in their control. I received regular updated throughout the process almost every day to update me on the progress which was very much appreciated.
The car looked amazing, they have a friendly staff and easy to get along attitude, and they get the job done right. They specialize in German cars. I will definitely return should I ever need any work done again.

A couple months ago, I came home to a note on my car. My neighbor had accidentally dented my bumper pretty badly. This is the first time I’ve been in an «accident,» so I went to Unilocal for help.
I went to a few places for estimates. 2 of them (one being PAN American) seemed to be pretty similar, and the third just seemed incredibly sketchy. The wait time on PAN was pretty quick, and the other one was a bit longer, so I went with PAN since it had a great review and was a little closer to my place.
Chris helped me, and he was fantastic. He was funny and even though I originally came in nervous since I’ve never done anything like this before and have heard horror stories about car repairs, he talked with me professionally and put me at ease. He went over everything, asked a few questions, took pictures, and said they’d give me updates. They did the repairs in a timely fashion and with the newly painted bumper, it’s the best looking part of my car now.
If I get into another situation (hopefully not) I will definitely come back!

Friendly, efficient, knowledgeable & professional! I went in for a repair estimate for a small dent in my passenger door likely caused by another persons car door flying open. Chris assessed the damage and explained to me the whole process needed to repair the dent and an estimate of costs. Another option Chris suggested was buffing out the scuffs which would make it less noticeable since its such a small dent. I opted for the buffing option, which he did at no cost. It truly was less noticeable after the buffing. I drove away happy with my experience at Pan American!

I stopped by to have these guys check out some rusted bolts on my vehicle, which were attached to the license plate lights. I had gotten pulled over because the license place lights were out. Other shops were quoting me around 100 dollars for an hour of labor, since the bolts were so rusted. These guys, however, got it done for a tiny fraction of the cost (nearly free). Additionally, everyone here was extremely friendly and professional.

It’s been a few months since I went to Pan American, but I’ve been meaning to leave a review :) I first found Pan American back in March, after a car ran a red light and hit my Subaru Forester. I picked Pan American due to proximity to my apt and previous Unilocal reviews, and I’m very glad I went there.
Fred Villota is awesome. He was very clear in explaining the repairs needed and in promptly following up with my concerns/​questions. He also dealt with the other insurance agency, saving me a lot of work and time. Would highly recommend Fred and the entire body shop staff. My first day there, one of the other gentlemen even helped me back out my car onto the busy street, which in my opinion went above and beyond any type of help or service I’ve ever received at another body shop. Highly recommend Pan American.

Had a dent on the side of the driver door, which was making an annoying sound when the door opened or closed.
Went here by taking an appointment. Was welcomed warmly with drink (water) offer. After a few minutes a guy came and inquired about the problem, saw the dent and asked if I bother about the color or not. He asked me to sit in the reception. In couple of min, he is back and showed the car. The dent, the noise all gone. And the best part its FREE.

Had a bump and run happen to me and my insurance (Farmer’s) recommended Pan American.
Long story short, although the whole insurance/​recuperation process was incredibly painful, Chris Lopez at Pan Am made the repair process as smooth as it could have been. Staff was attentive and offered water — nice touch. Office was really well air conditioned (sounds petty but this makes waiting in the office on a hot summer day much more bearable). There’s even a nice fish tank in the lobby.
On to more important things — Chris gave me a thorough walkthrough and estimate. The turnaround time was as promised and reasonably fast. The actual repair job was great (I’m no car person but it looked like it was new again). The car wash after the repair is a plus. Chris went above and beyond in coordinating with insurance on my behalf as well as setting up a rental car pickup for me from Hertz. In summary, the process could have been a lot more painful, but Chris made the actual repair process go smoothly. Highly recommended.

This is the third time they fixed my car with 100% satisfaction, they are very helpful and friendly. I was tired of fixing the front bulb on my Beetle and they just fixed it in few minutes. Ask for Chris, Jose or Joe. They will take care of you start to finish. I will refer all my friends and family.

I spoke to someone here and they slapped on an estimate without much information. I went to another body shop that walked through the replacement process in great detail, and it turned out to only half the price of Pan American. Both shops were recommended to me by my insurance. I won’t be considering this business for future repairs.

I found this place through a AAA referral as they are an accredited provider and I could not have been happier with the customer service and end result. They fixed my bumper quickly and even did a full cleaning of my car!

Wow!!! Amazing find in Mountain View… I don’t live in Mountain View, and I was making a delivery at Pan American collision center last week and just I happen to ask Joseph about a quick estimate on my Prius bumper. To my greatest delight, Joseph took out the dent for free as a courtesy. What a great guy and what a great business. .!! Thank you Joseph !!!

I’ve been taking my car here for years, and it is the ONLY place I will ever take my car. I am super picky, meticulous, and a perfectionist, — and my car is no exception. Pan America always delivers 5 star customer service, a quick turn around and A++ work. They have an impeccable reputation all around, and it’s easy to see why. From a broken window, to body damage, to paint — they’ve always restored my car back to brand new. My Benz is black on black, everything is noticeable with a color like this, yet it’s never been an issue or challenge for them to get the job done correctly… plus the guy who works in the front is pretty hot (added bonus)

After an accident in the rain, we were concerned that our new car would never look the same again, but Pan American Collision Center made it look brand new. And they only took one day to complete the job! I was so impressed. Moreover, they took the time to take care of other minor scratches on the car for free. I have to say, this was the first time that I experienced top-​notch customer service. Jackie really took care of us. I could tell that they are a family owned business. :)

I live around the corner from Pan American, and it’s come in handy! Earlier today, my car broke down outside a restaurant around the corner. I walked to Pan American and explained the situation. Their manager came out, heard the story, drove with me to my car and jump started it for free. He also told me where I could go to get the parts I needed to get my car to full strength– again, all for free.
I’ve come to them in the past for bigger work, and they’ve been similarly helpful, friendly, and high quality. Highly recommend coming here!

Their color matching is not the best, The bumper replaced was a tiny bit darker than the rest of the car. The color difference is really obvious under the sun but I can live with it.
Joseph offered to redo the paint but I’m too busy with school and work to come back. He should never release a car unless it’s done right. But like I said before, I can live with it.
They really work fast but I’d rather wait 3 days if it means they’d do a better job.

This is the only time that I have had to go to a body shop, and I have heard horror stories about other body shops in the area, so I was pretty nervous about the process.
Contrary to my fears, the people at Pan American Collision Center are fantastic and genuine. Their work is also top quality. During the estimate, they quoted me for a spot job, but after making the fix locally, the painter was not satisfied with the quality and ended up repainting the entire hood for free. I came back to pick up my car and was amazed at the attention to detail and perfection in the work.
