Douglas is the best. My car speedometer wasn’t working and despite two attempts he didn’t give up trying to solve it, finally he replaced the speedometer for me and charges the most reasonably. I also did oil change, replace oil pan, gasket. The mechanics are efficient. No reason why you shouldn’t go here for your car problems or even check up, maintenance, etc.

One of my wheel had some noise. I went there and they tried very hard to find the root cause of the noise. Finally, they didn’t find anything abnormal. Then we did another test and the noise was gone. It’s likely that some random thing was stuck there and went away during the debugging.
To me, the whole process was very professional. They could had replaced some parts, and charge me on them. Instead, they really try to pin down the problem and avoid unnecessary replacement/​repair.
Like others had comments, honest guys, highly recommended!

Douglas and his crew run a great shop. I’ve gone to him for all sorts of repairs and recommendations, from getting an engine light checked to replacing a bad pulley or worn suspension. He’s straightforward and honest, and I’ve always been happy with what he charges in comparison to dealerships and chain shops. He’s helped me out in a pinch even at closing time.
There’s a Starbucks in the plaza behind the shop (currently being remodeled) so I usually wait there. There’s also some chairs out in front. When you arrive, use the plaza parking lot so they have room to move all the cars around. He’s very busy and hardworking, often doing three things at once, so be flexible because it can take a minute for him to get to you.
Remember to ask for a time estimate and call in to check when that time has passed because once in a while they may forget to notify you when they’re done. Also, call ahead so you don’t show up when he’s backed up with work and end up waiting unnecessarily.

There is not a better and more honest guy working on cars in Mountain View. I have been everywhere and always felt ripped off. Doug has actually sent me home with quick little free repairs on more than one occasion. He doesn’t need the business because everyone loves him and he is really busy.

Douglas who runs the shop is honest, efficient and has very reasonable and fair prices compared to others who’s dishonest and pack on the unnecessary things to do to the car and charges high. He’s real good at what he does over the years I’ve found bringing my different cars to him from my 04′ Benz, Toyotas, Hondas etc… Highly recommended. Only thing is often he could be very busy with backed up cars to finish.

The mechanic there by name of Douglas… He is awesome. He has always helped me out whenever I went there for a reasonable price.

I’ve been going for oil changes and minor repairs to this station for a couple of years now and I’m always happy with honesty, service and fair prices. I should give them a bad rating so that fewer people go there ;-) It is very busy as it is, and I sometimes have to come back another day to get the things done. Other than that, if you are looking for value and honesty — this is the place! I always come back…
