Another good Burrito spot in the Bay Area that is consistent and make them fast. Its better than the average hence the 4 stars but stick with a Super or a Regular because the California burrito was not good. Free chips and decent salsa, they good use more options there. Overall even with the problems I like it and come here often.

Awesome food. Fast service. The cashier greeted me with a smile and the cooking staff was fun to watch while they cheered on the final minutes of the football match on TV.

This place has legit Mexican food. It’s always packed at lunch, so seating can be limited, but the food it worth it. Inexpensive and quick service. I’ll be coming back for the wet burritos.

Quite possibly the best taqueria in our area. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years and love the food! While its not flashy it’s very fresh and tasty. I love the enchiladas and the burritos and they have a chile rellino I really enjoy! Tucked in the center of a local strip mall the parking lot can get a little crazy around dinner time but it is soooo worth it! While I haven’t been they also do breakfast in the morning. I’m certain it’s just as good as their lunch and dinner! Thanks Los Altos Taqueria! We’ll be back!

Super burrito was very solid. Loved how everything was wrapped tightly. Got it with grilled chicken it was on point Salsa is too heavy on the tomatoes but nevertheless still good. Could use more kick less tomato 3.5 stars, will bump it up after try a few more things

Eh. Not bad. I think this area doesn’t really understand good quality Mexican food. The flavors of the meat are bland and the taste is nothing special. The salsa was a bit to sweet for my taste and lacked heat. I say try it once but don’t expect it to change your life. People here are friendly though.

Hidden gem. Most beautiful menu I’ve ever seen, on the wall on the right. I got the super burrito wet. Can’t go wrong here

I really like this place! I work very near here and I am often here to pick up lunch. They make really good burritos and other good Mexican food. Plentiful and filling. I like the simple tomato salsa with the chips. And they have a cantaloupe juice that once I discovered now I can never go without. I order this every time, it tastes like you are drinking yummy summer sweet cantaloupe. My favorite thing here!

Used to be a loyal customer to this spot, but it has kinda gone downhill. My family always ordered the nachos here because it tasted great, like many other taquerias, they used to pack the to-go box to it’s limit which left enough to go around for everyone! But now it barely covers the bottom half of the carton! I’ll probably be taking my business elsewhere. It’s not worth it compared to all the other taquerias around.

This place is just awful. I’ve tried several times to eat here because it’s convenient to work. Today I tried the tostada. It was a soggy mess. How can you goof up something so simple? I also ordered a juice which they said was in my to go sack. Nope. And it was raining so hard the last thing I wanted to do was go back and get it My soggy tasteless tostada that was itty bitty was too expensive

Refried beans from a CAN! A yucky affront to Mexican food. Fast service and inexpensive, so I still give it 2 stars.

I’ve probably been here a hundred times. Ordinarily, I’d give it a 4+ on the stars, but something happened to the quality here since I was last here. I ordered my usual chicken quesadilla suiza, some days it’s two meals, so huge! Good prices too. Anyways, here is the problem. The chicken meat is normally shredded white meat, that has been simmered with a nice spicy kick. The best! Last night, it was grilled, cubed dark meat with no seasoning. The texture was completely off, rubbery, lacking of all flavor(the salsa added some). I read a few other reviews, and seems to be an infrequent issue with others as well. I’m guessing since we came in an hour before closing you ran out of the regular shredded chicken. Instead of saying, «Out of chicken» as it’s a big batch thing, you went, «Hmm, grill that thigh meat up, should work.» Shameful. Keep up your quality that I’ve come to expect, such a disappointment! I bragged about it to friends, dragged them there, and it came up lacking for their first visit. I doubt they’ll be back as they both got a burrito layered the wrong way, with all the sour cream on one end, guacamole on the far end, etc, so you get a whole bunch of lettuce, and nothing else in 3 – 4 bites. Google up «Dear guy who just made my burrito» and you’ll get the idea. Who makes a burrito like that?! Oh, one had a thick black hair in it too, they didn’t finish. Gah, I’m out of the running for any recommendations to my friends for a while after that now. I might give you guys a try again when you get out the kinks of whatever you are doing. I’ll be sure to change the rating when that happens.

Bland. That sums it up well. Had the chicken enchiladas. No flavor which was amazing considering it had sour cream and guacamole and I was starving. Not bad by any measure but would not come back just because I can think of tenbetter spots within 10 miles.

Wow! They are super fast! Came here with like 8 people, I ordered my food. Sat for maybe 5 minutes and some lady already started coming with food! WOW. We were going to an event at the shoreline, and was running late so wanted something quick. I figure a taqueria would be easy and fast, found this place on Unilocal and they did not disappoint. We got there at 6pm, we were walking out at 6:30! Now about the food, solid. I had the super quesadilla with pastor and it was good. This place doesnt have a salsa bar like others but they do bring you a basket of chips with salsa. I had to ask for limes for my quesadilla but not a problem.

Excellent Mexican food. My friend showed me this spot the other day. Make sure to try their Quesadilla Suiza, it’s delicious and as far as I know the only spot around who makes these.

LATAQ is what I miss most about living in the area. Now whenever we are in town we stop by at least twice(lunch and dinner). Yeah it’s that good! Unlimited chips and they are always nice about giving extra sour cream, etc at no extra charge! Such good Mexican food! My mouth is watering right now! YUMMM

I had the taco plate with 3 tacos. The Carne Asada was not grilled enough so the meat lacked the caramelization but it was still tasty. The Al Pastor had much more flavor. I would recommend that over the Carne Asada. The rice was a bit mushy but tasted good. It didn’t have too strong of a tomato flavor like some places. I liked that the beans were refried and left not whole. It was average tasting. The horchata was horrible. Tasted like the kind you find in a gallon jug at Safeway. It was sweet and had cinnamon but it tasted like all artificial ingredients. It was served without ice but I understand this is often how it is served. I recommend skipping the horchata. I saw someone order a plate that came with a whole deep fried fish. It looked good. This place gets crazy busy at lunch time but the line seems to go pretty fast. Most people take out, possibly because the tables get taken. This is a working class people type of restaurant so don’t expect anything fancy. For the price and taste, I would go back.

This place serves good Mexican food, has generous portions, and is consistently busy. Stepped in here for lunch today and ordered a wet carne asada super burrito. I don’t usually order wet burritos but the picture on the wall looked appetizing. The place was packed, and the tables are a little close together. The service is great, they were quick to provide ice water as well as chips and salsa. The salsa is a little chunky, and had a good balance of spice. This place is good, go there or order ahead. Its a little cramped, but cool. Its a solid choice when you’re on the Peninsula, and right off the 101.
