The reason Legacy property group was started was to assist home owners with a company they can trust to manage their home. We take care of the home as if it were our own and place tenants that will respect the property. We have seen the difference in what we offer from the other guys and wanted to proved that extra layer if service that is just not present in our market.

Business Owner

Derrick McQuade was born and raised in Mountain View, CA. He ventured into Real Estate in his early twenties and found that property management was his passion. He has helped over 200 home owners/​investors with managing their properties. His other passion is his family, wife Renee and son Derrick Jr. They currently reside in San Jose, where they have been for the last 4 years. Growing up in this area has created a large network of professionals and personal connections for him.

My wife and I lived in a property managed by Derrick and Renee for the past 2+ years. They were always really great to work with on a day to day basis. If we ever had any issues with the house (plumbing etc) they were always completely on it and had us sorted really fast. Though we are glad to be purchasing a home, we couldn’t have been happier with our experience working with them. Highly recommend.

Derrick and his team are top notch. I am a first time landlord, and did not know how to go about finding renters, vetting them properly and collecting rents in an organized way. From the very beginning, they did everything efficiently and so professionally. I even had a few things I had to fix in the unit before renting it out, and Derrick’s team sent out a handyman within 1 hour! I can’t stress enough how wonderful and easy renting out my unit has been with the Legacy Property Group in my corner.
I wish I could give them 10 stars. I will refer them to every person who wants to work with the best property management company in the valley!

We have been working with Derrick for a few years now.
He successfully manages one of our rentals. His team does everything it takes to find the right tenants. From open houses to screening, contract terms, reading our CC&Rs — he handles it all.
I have also referred him to some of my clients and Derrick has helped them with their rentals.
I like working with people who are easy to communicate with, and Derrick is one of those people.

I never write reviews, but this one is well deserved. I have been with Legacy Property Group since it first started. I have been through my share of Property Management Companies and this is far the best I have yet experienced.
