I thought I walked in a restaurant first, it smelled like delivery food and they were doing the accounting for their Chinese restaurant next door. They also don’t take the Unilocal coupon because it was setup by the«previous owner». They have a shower and sauna… sounds appealing until you see them! I’d rather get a shower at Petco or Petsmart it mght be cleaner, there were hairs all over the place and used rusted razors so I decided to pass on the shower. The massage itself nothing exceptional not sure it was worth $ 45, you can hear the music and conversation from the bar next door which isn’t very relaxing. I would recommend to avoid this place.

The massage was good, but the system of confirming a reservation could have been much better. Twice before I passed by this place. The first time was several months ago, when I passed by and noticed this new massage spa(the building used to be my old dry cleaners 10 years ago). I stopped in to take a quick look and to check their prices, $ 60 for a 1-hour massage. The second time was about a month ago when I decided to try a massage, and I noticed they had a Unilocal check-in special of $ 40 for the 1-hour massage. I came by at noon on a Saturday but they were closed, even though the sign said 10am-10pm. I called the number with no answer, but they called me back, saying they could be open at 1pm, but I didn’t have time that day. I understand that they might not have been open if they didn’t have any appointments, and called me back to schedule on. I wanted to try the Unilocal special price, and had time today, so I called with no answer, but after they quickly called me back, I made an appointment for 11:30, which worked for me. However, when I arrived a little late at 11:35, they said that they took some walk-ins instead, and asked me to come back 1 hour later. That just wasn’t right for someone who made an appointment. When I was in my car about to leave, she came out and said another therapist was coming in for me, so I stayed for my appointment. When I tried to pay for my appointment, the lady said the 1-hour massage was $ 45, discounted from the usual price of $ 60. I showed her the Unilocal check-in offer on my phone of $ 40, and she said«We never offer $ 40, only $ 45. I’ll have to call the owner» After some debate, she gave me the $ 40 rate, but charged me $ 41 for credit card usage.(I should report to my card company.) The nice thing here is that they try to be a little special, offering a free sauna or shower with your massage. I didn’t need it today so I passed. All the massages here are done in an individual room, not a foot spa place. The rooms are clean and simple, like a body massage room in a foot spa. My room had the overhead rails. My massage was good. Not super great, but it was good. Lucy was my therapist and she was strong, so I had to ask her to go softer a few times. I liked the hot towels to wipe off the oil, and the heat is always relaxing. She didn’t stand on my back, which is fine with me, as I don’t care much for stepping on my back, or for hot stones in other places. The massage was simple but good, and I got my $ 40 Unilocal deal, so I would give that 4-stars. But the confusion of not getting my reserved time and the confusion of the Unilocal check-in pricing really stressed me out, lowering it 1-star. Could have been lower if I didn’t get my massage today.
