This is the fourth time that I have used Quickfix — they are always friendly and reliable in my experience.

Quickfix was recommended to my GF to look at her computer screen for repair. They did a great job, on time, and the price was fair. They also have some repaired older computers for sale as well.
Nice place with friendly service. You may not need em everyday, but I’m glad to know where they are for the next time we need em!

These guys are great! I took in a dead laptop and there was an unexpected delay in getting the work done. That made it difficult for me to get in to pick it up before leaving on a trip. On their own initiative, they offered to drop it off at my house! Now that’s great customer service and deserves 5 stars.

I went to Quickfix to get my LG LCD Monitor repaired. Prior to going there, I had an hour long of meaningless online chat/​conversation with a LG representative and got frustrated. But when I got to the shop, Rami kindly greeted me and listened very carefully what my problems are. He examined the board with a tester and as it seems to be a minor problem, retouched several soldered parts that come loose. And the best part was he gave it as a complimentary service with a smile. In the future, if I have to repair any of my electronic goods, Quickfix would be my go to shop for sure.

Rami was extremely cooperative and helpful with my computer problems. His customer service skills are superb and he cares first and foremost about making you happy with your computer and the service. He was very sweet and went above and beyond to help me. My mom and I will definitely be returning to this store for future computer problems.

I have been using Quickfix to fix machines since 2010. They have been very reliable, very professional and charged fairly for their services.
Over this period, I have replaced a mother board, a hard drive, two power supplies, and a sound card (a bad HP desktop). I have also fixed an ultrabook where a parrot ate two keys.
It’s always hard making the decision to fix a computer vs. buying a new one. But these guys are knowledgeable and good. I recommend them highly.

OVERVIEW: Cell phone screen replacement worked but three snags. I believe they would have made things right had I asked, I would use again but inspect carefully before leaving store.
STORY: The LCD screen on my Samsung S4 cracked. I called ALL around South Bay and Peninsula shops. Quick FIx was the closest, competitively priced and was able to clearly communicate process and cost over the phone (many other were difficult to understand on the phone). Most reasonable price in the MV, PA area.
Stopped by the store on my way home and met Rami who was polite, friendly and knowledgeable. He had tech check to see if the LCD connector was disconnected to at least make my phone at least partially useful. Unfortunately it wasn’t the case. I would have to wait two days for the new part to arrive because the screen had to be ordered. I gave them the go ahead.
Email 2 days late said part was in and to bring in phone. Dropped of my phone on way to work at 10am and was told Thahn, the tech, doesn’t start until 11am (forgot this. Rami told me this the other day) so I would need to leave the phone and pick it up later.
12:30 got email phone was ready for pick-​up. That was fast! Drove back and was happy to S4 was alive again. Thanh gave me a discount for being a first time customer.
ASK FOR OLD PARTS AND SAVE THEM!
When I picked up my phone I asked to have the old part back (I’m a mechanical engineer and love to study that kind of stuff). This saved me a hassle.
OOPS THEY FORGOT TO MIGRATE VIBRATOR
Got back to office and realized the vibrator wasn’t working. Wasn’t a setting it was physically missing. I did a Google search and found that when you replace an LCD module the old vibrator needs to be transferred from the old. Quick FIx forgot.
The web showed the fix was fairly easy. I’m glad I asked for the broken LCD assembly as the vibrator was still attached. I did the vibrator migration myself in 10 minutes. Thank you YouTube.
NOT SO TIDY
This is minor but maybe indicative of their work quality? I removed the battery pack and found a large patch of adhesive residue and part of a paper label under the pack. I assume this was leftover from a label that came on the replacement part. 30 seconds with a paper towel soaked in denatured alcohol the gooey mess was history.
FORGOT TO TRANSFER IMEI LABEL
Every phone has a unique number called IMEI. You can find it beneath the battery pack or look it up under «settings». I believe a thorough job should make the device as original as possible. In which case, they should have transferred the label as this it lists the important IMEI, Model, and SKU numbers. I used a razor blade to transfer the label from the old screen to the new one myself. Not hard to do but why did I have to do it?
ADVICE TO VENDOR: One major and two minor slips for a simple repair job. You need to up your game in this competitive repair industry. I would still give you future business as I believe Quick Fix would have made things right had I asked. Nevertheless, I expect a shop to get it right the first time without me having to QC and correct your work. This is what I pay you for.
ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS: Quick Fix can do the work. Be sure to thoroughly check their work before you leave the store. Ask for and keep old parts.

I really appreciate their service. Today is Saturday and I carried my laptop to this shop to check if I can upgrade memory. They, specially Rami, checked the laptop very quickly and provide what happened and also some advice as well for others about how I can make old macbook pro faster.
I believe Rami spent at least an hour or so to check my laptop but he didn’t change any $.
He provide the service as just free. I will stop by this shop again definitely. …Thanks Rami.

Best repair shop to go to! Amazing personable customer service and top notch professional service. They are a local computer and cell phone repair service center that treat you as a friend rather then a number. Ask for Tas and the owner Rami is makes sure everyone walks out satisfied.

I thought I’d updated this but definitely need to say that after I posted this, they promptly contacte me and offered to make everything right by providing future service so I could clone all of the information on my dead laptop.
So I’d say that anyone going there should feel confident not only in the expertise shown by the staff (b/​c I feel as if ppl who REALLY know computers and how to pull them apart vs. ppl who can just stick disks in hoping they solve problems are rare), you should also feel confident that if they can’t fix your problem, they’ll make it right.
Great service and when I finally get my new laptop, I will be going back.

They fixed the problem with my power connector, but my PC is now JAMMED with adware, bloatware, and I can only guess what other surprises. I uninstalled about 10 programs, and am now having advertising overlays on my shopping experiences (along the lines of the crap that Lenovo pulled with SuperFish, except these are Avira).
As a privacy-​conscious person, I’m pretty upset. I was told in the shop that this was a clean install. WRONG.

I recently built a new PC and shortly after getting it all put together something went wrong. To avoid a bunch of lost time and stress I decided to look for a computer repair place in town. That’s when I found Quick Fix.
My main thing was a swift repair, and I wasn’t disappointed. Rami, who was great to work with, quickly identified the issue and let me know they had a part on hand to fix it. They even went an extra step and offered to rewire everything (which I payed for, but all the prices I received were very fair).
If you are looking for a quick solution to your computer woes look no further then Quick Fix.

This place used to be great — technically knowledgeable, quick as possible with replacement parts, and [Taz is] customer service oriented. I’ve had two laptops repaired or upgraded several times since they moved to this location, always with satisfactory results.
But my last visit was such a disaster that I’ll never return. The quoted price for a 2-​day upgrade of a hard drive was reasonable — and that’s what I paid, THREE WEEKS later! In between I got FIVE calls telling me the work was done, only to find out that they hadn’t tested it, and the work was not complete. Three of those times I actually made trips to pick up my machine, only to find (twice) that a cursory test showed the agreed work wasn’t done — new drive didn’t boot; or old data hadn’t been copied.
And lousy service is one thing, but failing to apologize for the oversights just shows disrespect for the customer. I’ll patronize this establishment again when Hell freezes over.

Every time when I bring my laptop, they always fix very quick like the name!
My laptop damage was pretty bad, so I was thinking to get a new one, but with their friendly price, I still can use my laptop now.

I’ve never needed a computer tech before because I had one built in but recently an almost brand new laptop pick-​up a nasty virus that McAfee couldn’t correct. So how do you find one you can trust? Unilocal of course. Actually I had driven past this place and then looked them up on Unilocal.
Taz was the person I dealt with. He was courteous, knowledgeable and said he could fix my computer in a couple of days. Exactly three… I have it back and it works perfectly. He even configured it the way that I wanted. The price was very fair.
I will definitely use them again.

Well where can I start, this place is well deserving of a 5 star review, hard working and dedicated to their customers, they do everything from software (virus removal, Operating System reinstallation) to Hardware repair (component and chips replacement on the motherboard) and everything from windows, Mac and even Linux. Highly recommended if you are in he neighborhood and looking for a good computer repair shop, they do Free diagnostic and also Free E-​Waste recycling. Taz, Rami and Thanh are the hard working technicians behind the scenes and very skillful at what they do. Fast turn around time and you can even expedite certain issues to be done on the same business day. Check them out and you won’t be disappointed

I brought my laptop to quick fix this afternoon since it had some issues with overheating. Upon arrival I handed over my laptop and was told that after a preliminary inspection i’d be called upon to inform on what services will be needed. I got a call later in the noon explaining that the fan inside needed to be changed and the charges would be $ 125+tax. I did mention to the gentleman over phone that I’ll need to discuss the course of action and told him that I’ll pick my laptop later in the noon and not to change/​add anything. When I came by in the evening to pick the laptop the person started explaining to me that they just checked if the fan worked and that he had replaced it already. I felt bad that even upon me mentioning over the call not to change the fan they already did. After getting all of this done they say if i din’t need it they will go ahead and dismantle the fan.
It was very awkward as the owner came and we explained to him that we found competitive quotes elsewhere and never asked for the fan to be changed. His only response was you can’t compare what they (other places that had better prices) do to what we do. I was surprised about this customer service, where is just a simple plain old «sorry for any inconvenience». I paid to buy my laptop and I should be the only one to decide what gets altered.
The guy front desk was patient to help us out sort the issue and we got a little discount on the final price. I would have very much appreciated if they had done what I had just asked for and nothing additional. Either ways as long as the repair lasts longer I’m a satisfied customer.

The name «Quick Fix» says it all. They fix everything, its quick, and its damn reasonable.
PROTIP: They will buy parts off you if the parts are relatively new technology and in good condition. IE: I sold them 12 800 RAM and an mSata SSD for a great rate.
