Established in 1995.

We are a division of American Best Forest Products, Inc. (A subsidiary of TaTa Enterprises Corp) We have over 30-​yrs of experience in the lumber industry as we are also one of the Bay Area’s top suppliers of outdoor decking and building materials. Some of our biggest clients includes: BlueLinx, Georgia-​Pacific, DuPont, and 3M.

We believe in responsible harvesting of our natural timber resources and is an avid supporter of groups such as Certi-​source (which traces the actual DNAs of raw timber) and NWFA. Our products are 100% Eco-​Friendly and procured only from renewable resources.

I totally agree with other review. The «owner» that works the Mountain View is borderline psycho. I tried to return two quater rounds and he went ballistic. I had driven to their warehouse in Oakland a few days before to pick them up (which was a bizzare experience in itself).
I thought I could stop by their retail location to return it. He told me I would have to drive to Oakland again. I told him that didn’t seem correct and that this was their retail location and I should be able to drop it off. He lost it. He started yelling at me and telling me it was his business and he had been running it 20 years and how he owned 11 stores. The «f» bomb was dropped repeatably. He said he would charge me $ 70.00 to return them.
He was borderline physcially out of control. I argued with him for a while but actually felt like I better leave before he got violent. Yeah, I am not kidding he was ready to totally loose it.
I told him it was not a way to run a retail business and he just got more enraged. You better know what you are getting into. You will not want to deal with these guys after you get your product.
It was the most bizarre retail experience I have ever had. It was comical. I mean this guy was so out of control I couldn’t help but laugh. I really wanted to tell him to get some anger management counseling but again, I thought it not better to add fuel to the fire.
(btw — he was also about 40 minutes late openning his own store and when I mentioned this, he said I don’t need to shop at his store and that if he wants to open late then he will open late. He is the boss and I can go f*** myself.)

Love my floors. At first I was not sure but all went well. The GM is kinda full of himself, but who isn’t after hearing the concerns of the 100th customer. But still busines is business. Suck it up. The workers were the best.
Just make sure you are on top of the job.
I will get my bedroom done next.

These folks sold me hardwood that ended up being something totally different than promised. They were very hard to deal with and would not stand by their product. The owner will charm you, but watch out, or better yet, run away from this place.
