Dr. Fitz is super nice, don’t get me wrong. I just don’t think I was getting much relief. At $ 50 a pop (my insurance sucks) I’d get a good adjustment but would often not feel much benefit from such adjustment and sometimes I had even more soreness. So, I saw no symptom improvement in the 6 or so weeks I saw him. His solution to me was to exercise but exercising was against one of my other doctor’s orders due to nutritional reasons. So, I was often left feeling confused about what I should be doing. I just don’t think it was worth the $ 50 co-​pay I had each visit — personally. But he’s a super nice guy and I truly think he cares about his patients.

Well Im wih you DL from Cupertino, I did not feel welcome nor did he want to help me. He was initially rude and put his hand up to stop me directly after I entered his office. He also complained he could not hear a caller as if that was my fault. I was recommended by my M.D. who I trust but I felt this was not a good first meeting so I extended the idea we start over, he agreed, but then told me to leave the office and then come back in. I then left. I feel it was his rude behavior that was the first offense by not verbally addressing me and putting his hand up to stop me was totally unprofessional. Hire a receptionist !

Dr Fitz has really helped my sons migraines. They are far less frequent, in fact they are now extremely rare. It feels amazing for my son and a relief for me, his mum. Dr Fitz is extremely friendly and immediately puts you at ease. I strongly recommend Dr Fitz as a chiropractor. Thank you Dr Fitz.

Dr. Fitz is amazing! His office is modern clean and relaxing. He has great bed side manners and was very caring. Within about 6 months I was healthier than before my accident! I highly recommend this office!!!

I walked into Dr. Fitzgerald’s office with the most back pain I have ever experienced. I fell in November and put off seeing someone until May. I could not believe how life changing lower back pain can be and I stubbornly let it worsen.
We talked over the likely cause of the pain, the ways to exacerbate the injury (of which there were many) and what can be done in his office to help. In addition, what I can do to prevent further injury and help-​along the healing process.
Dr. Fitzgerald’s treatment was precise. I hobbled in and I walked out. My recovery took some time, because I let the injury get much worse before I did anything about it; but eventually he got me back to where I was before I took my fall. I feel good, I can walk, ride my bike, and sit down without feeling the mechanics and muscles and sinews fight against each other.
I am sitting in Bulgaria right now writing this because 1) I can’t sleep and 2) it is important to me to give praise and gratitude where it is deserved, and I didn’t want to wait until I got back to Mountain View. I flew halfway across the globe (mostly sitting) and my lower back is pain free.
So I did what anyone who has had 13 hours of free scotch would do: I composed this silly little poem as a thank you to the doc.
Walking each step crooked and bent
Limped in a man wobbly and spent
He cried for the healer so many would herald
A man named George from the house of Fitzgerald.
If his soul was young his body didn’t know
Enduring the most pain his body did know
His back and his legs and hips felt brittle
Aching so great when moved just a little
George heard the story of how this fool fell
Bent with hurt and under pain’s spell
Not knowing what’s next with a back unstable
He felt crippled, powerless, unable
The healer’s work was effective and real
Clearly the man got the best deal
First fettered and crooked with pain
Fitzgerald helped him live well again

I saw him for severe lower back and hip and leg pain. I was a mess and could barely walk. After 2 visits I was much better, and after 6 I was completely pain free and back to my former active self. Thank you, Dr. Fitz!

Dr. Fitz was highly recommended by a friend. He’s the only chiropractor I’ve ever seen so I don’t have anyone to compare him to. I just know that he has helped me tremendously with my posture. After adjustments and following his advice on exercise and stretches, sitting/​standing up straight doesn’t require all the effort that it used to. He’s a nice guy; listens well. Plus, there is ample/​easy parking so you don’t have to stress out just getting to his office.

Probably the best chiropractor I have ever been to… he knows what he’s doing and my back pain has decreased significantly since going to him regularly. He’s professional and kind as well. Highly recommended!

Just had another great adjustment from Dr. Fitz. I’ve been going to him for three years, and he has managed to get me to the point where I almost never need to come in unless I do something clumsy and throw my back out. And I have always been a difficult patient to adjust! I always leave Dr. Fitz’s office with a smile on my face.

I came here on recommendation and wholly regret it. Not only did he not take care of my issues, I felt worse by his treatment. He did not listen to what I was saying about my body issues and carried on with agressive adjustment that hurt me beyond any DC has in the 20 years I have been going to DCs.
When I expressed my shock to in his approach, I was met with arrogance and dismissal of my concerns. When I tried to walk out and had a sharp pain with each step, he offered to «try to fix it» — mind you I did not come in with this symptom. His «fix» caused even more pain — again not listening to my concerns with his aggressive approach.

Dr. Fitzgerald was the first chiropractor I had ever seen. I was so scared to have my back cracked that I would have rather of dealt with pain that was bringing me to tears. Right off the bat he made me comfortable and quickly educated me about what I needed to be doing with my back. He adjusted me and I left in 30 minutes feeling like a new person. His office is comfortable and clean and the calm vibe made it easy to relax. I would recommend him to anyone needing a chiropractor.

Dr. Fitz is a modern day healer.
I’ve been going to him for over 8 years now, and gladly make the trip from my home in San Francisco, to his office in Mountain View because his care has vastly improved my quality of life.
He cured my chronic migraines that I had been experiencing since about 7 years of age, in about 3 visits. No more pills, no more pain. I haven’t even had a stress headache since I’ve been going to him! Beyond that my overall well-​being has improved and I’m in the best shape of my life at 34 years of age, I do not hesitate to attribute this, in part, to the skill, passion, and intuition of the loving and wonderful Dr. Fitz.
I’ve recommended many people to him, and he has in turn changed their lives. Like my Mom, he cured her of her vertigo. He’s the real deal.
I do not over exaggerate when I say that I am forever indebted to Dr. Fitz for improving my life in such a drastic way.

Dr. Fitz is awesome. I started seeing him after I have some issues with RSI and later my back. Now I only have to see him once in a while as I feel things start falling out of whack.
In addition to being a great chiropractor, he is incredibly friendly and does a great job at having the conversation that helps him identify issues and speed recovery. Billing a snap with him as well which is a huge relief in itself!
Dr. Fitz is also very flexible with scheduling and does great with last minute scheduling so if you’re in pain, you’re almost certain to be able to see him in less than hour or two.
I recommend Dr. Fitz to all my friends that are looking for help.

Dr. Fitz is a GEM! He is calm, competent and caring. He explains what he’s doing carefully and takes the time to do very gentle adjustments. I’d highly recommend him. He’s treated me and the patients I’ve referred to him.

It’s not that I don’t want to come back for another visit, Dr. Fitzgeralds, but you healed my back pain after only 1 visit and I was totally refreshed the next day, I don’t need to come back again. You are highly recommended!

I stumbled in to Dr. Fitz’s office a few years ago. I was looking for someone that I felt comfortable with and was convenient for my busy schedule.
He is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. It is obvious that he chose his profession because he cares about helping people. He is very knowledgeable about his field. He restored full rotation and motion to my neck and back. I only pop in to see him when I have done something to throw my self out of alignment.
I have referred many friends to him and those that have gone have not been disappointed. I will continue to refer people to him. When I find someone that is great to deal with, provides a wonderful service, and I can trust I become a loyal customer and a big cheerleader.

Found Dr. Fitz after relocating to Mountain View from Seattle. I would agree with Andy — he does possess wizard-​like qualities. Easy to talk to and approachable, he has worked wonders on my back after two visits. He knows his stuff.

I have been seeing Dr. Fitz for nearly 17 years for my neck and back pain and I don’t know what I would do without him. Not only does he keep me running, despite my continual efforts to cause myself pain, but he is a wonderful person. His office is an island of tranquility in the middle of a busy day, and his own energy is always positive and infectious. As another reviewer said, chiropractic is not for everyone, and not every chiropractor is right for every person. But I would highly recommend that people give Dr. Fitz a shot and see if he’s right for them.

«Dr Fitz» is a wizard. He consistently relieves my back pain, restoring freedom of movement, accomplishing this despite the severity of my problem (complete erosion of one of my lower-​back discs, which over decades herniated so many times it wore away to nothing, leaving two vertebra in direct physical contact). Dr Fitz also performs miracles on my neck, alleviating migraine headaches. I don’t know how I would manage without him!
Beyond back and neck and migraine relief, I’ve recommended friends to Dr Fitz who have also benefitted fro his help. One of my friends had wrist problems (too much keyboarding) and Dr Fitz was able to provide both relief and useful exercises and stretches for him to alleviate the problem longterm. Another friend had a painful rib displacement which Dr Fitz was able to affect significantly to reduce pain and probably sped up the soft-​tissue healing. I mention these two examples in particular because in my experience, most chiropractors are helpless when it comes to the wrist, and ordinarily it is especially challenging to get positive results on an injured rib.
Beyond his impressive expertise and his remarkable physical ability to implement his adjustment strategies, Dr Fitz is also a really good guy, someone I enjoy seeing on a regular basis for the personal interaction as well as the valuable treatment he provides.
