History

Established in 2005.

The Law Firm of Powers & Costeck LLC was created by two experienced former prosecutors. The firm was created with a commitment use their experience to investigate and build solid legal criminal defenses. Every client is treated with respect and compassion. All criminal cases from DUI to serious felonies are approached with the same commitment to excellence. All clients are kept informed of the progress of the case and are considered instrumental to its success. Powers & Costeck LLC serves residence of Skagit County (Mount Vernon, Burlington, Anacortes and Sedro Woolley), Island County (Camano, Oak Harbor, Coupeville), Whatcom County (Bellingham, Ferndale, Blaine, Fairhaven) and Snohomish County (Stanwood, Arlington, Marysville, Everett).

Business Owner

Ron A. Costeck attended McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario CDN where he obtained an Honors Bachelors of Commerce Degree in 1991. In 1995 he graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, TN.

After a brief period working for a non profit Ron Costeck was admitted in the State of Washington to practice law. At the beginning of his legal career Ron practiced as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Grays Harbor County and later the City of Bellingham. In 2001, Ron began working on a Ph.D. at Temple University, PA and instructed as an Adjunct Professor in the areas of Criminal Law and Procedure. In 2003, Ron returned to practice as a Deputy Prosecutor for Skagit County. Before leaving the Skagit County Prosecutors Office in 2005 to open his own law firm, Ron Costeck was trying everything from, DUI and Assault cases to Vehicular Homicide and Manslaughter cases.

Ron has served as a pro tem Judge in Sedro Woolley.
