Ron Costeck and Mr. Powers are former Deputy Prosecutors that believe in offering clients aggressive and zealous representation with integrity. History

Established in 2005.

Powers & Costeck LLC, was established in 2005. Two former deputy prosecutors decided to open a DUI and criminal defense firm servicing the area North of Seattle. This includes Island, Skagit, Snohomish, San Juan and Whatcom Counties. The firms goal was to use the combined experience of the partners and the knowledge of how law enforcement and prosecutors build criminal cases, to assist in advocating and defending clients charged in criminal cases. Since 2005 the firm has successful represent clients and grown to be one of the larger partnerships in Skagit County.

Ron A. Costeck attended McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario CDN where he obtained an Honors Bachelors of Commerce Degree in 1991. In 1995 he graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Memphis, TN.

After a brief period working for a non profit Ron Costeck was admitted in the State of Washington to practice law. At the beginning of his legal career Ron practiced as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Grays Harbor County and later the City of Bellingham. In 2001, Ron began working on a Ph.D. at Temple University, PA and instructed as an Adjunct Professor in the areas of Criminal Law and Procedure. In 2003, Ron returned to practice as a Deputy Prosecutor for Skagit County. Before leaving the Skagit County Prosecutors Office in 2005 to open his own law firm, Ron Costeck was trying everything from, DUI and Assault cases to Vehicular Homicide and Manslaughter cases.

In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of Washington, Ron Costeck is a member of the Washi
