We work with our residential and commercial customers to provide affordable and effective IT solutions for their home theaters, home automation, network communication, conference room, and other AV/​Data/​Structured wiring needs.

Buchan Consulting is a small business that focuses on individuals, small, and medium sized businesses in the Chicagoland area.

Buchan Consulting, a Mount Prospect based business, was founded by Douglas Buchan. Buchan, a graduate of Prospect High School and the University of Iowa with a degree in Entrepreneurship and Health Sciences, has been helping clients with their technology needs for over ten years.

In 2010 Buchan decided to take freelance consulting, web design, technical support, and instructional sessions to the next level and broaden the scope of services offered.

Now, in 2012, Buchan Consulting is a burgeoning small business with a broad clientele that offers prompt, professional, and individualized services to our clients at a fraction of the cost of larger firms.

We look forward to our future growth while we continue to offer the same level of service that has been earning us our reputation in Mount Prospect and the Chicago area since ten years ago.

Business Owner

Doug Buchan has been an active member of the Mt. Prospect community for years. As an Eagle Scout, Doug contributed a large amount of time to his community by means of service projects, leadership, and being an active member of many community organizations.

Doug also spent much of his time helping friends and family members with their technology needs. In 2012 Doug officially licensed what had been a growing business: Buchan Consulting LLC.

Since 2006 Doug has been working to expand his business, become a more active community member, and give back to the community that has given him so much.
