We had a flood in our basement and Ray came out to figure out the issue. He quickly found that the sump pump was working and there was an issue with our outside sewer backing up to our powder room toilet and causing the flood. He was kind and quick. Thanks!

Great company. I’ve used this company on a couple of occasions. Very prompt and professional service. Their prices are also very reasonable. They sent two plumbers named Ray and Dominic. These guys were very friendly and courteous. They did a great job fixing my toilet leak and left my bathroom in pristine condition when they finished. I recommend this company for all of your plumbing and sewer needs.

So this evening I had the misfortune of dropping a shampoo bottle cap into the tub drain because I didn’t have a drain catcher. The drain became clogged and the cap had wedged itself somewhere down the drain. I called The Good Guys and Ray and Dominic came out «after hours» for a free estimate within 45 min! They got the cap out in less than an hour and cleaned up the tub. It was a big relief to have the drain cleared out so quickly and both Ray and Dominic were professional and friendly. I would definitely use this company again in the future.

Called on a Sunday afternoon with a kitchen sink backup problem, and they came in under 30 minutes! Incredibly great service, Dominic and Ray were very professional and explained exactly what they thought the problem was. Gave me a quote and fixed it that same afternoon. We had a very positive experience working with Ray Cerrano from Captain Rooter on two different occasions. The first was an emergency plumbing issue in our basement (we had a frozen water pipe that had burst due to the freezing temps). We couldn’t get the water to stop rushing from the pipe due to shut off valve in our house not being installed correctly. Ray was able to come to our house on a Sunday, assess the situation and repair the pipe for us within about two hours of calling him. We were so appreciative of his quick professional work. We had Ray come back to our house this summer to do the work he had quoted us in the winter to repair the shut off valve. Our hundred year old house had some interesting plumbing quirks which he and his partner took time to understand and troubleshoot to ensure that we had a working shut off valve should we ever need to turn off the water in a future emergency situation. He is friendly and quick but he also is very knowledgeable as a plumber and we are glad to have his number handy should we have future plumbing needs.

After having my antique stove completed disengaged by the gas company because it didn’t have a regulator, I was lucky enough to find the «Emergency Plumber, Good Guys.»
I was given a specific window of time that I would see these people… late on a Friday afternoon…
Ten minutes before schedule I was called to be told they were on their way!
Raymond and Dominick represented their company in the most professional, propitious manner anyone could ask for. Everything was explained to me, the process was explained, the cost/​price was discussed, and within an hour, my beautiful old stove was roaring again!!!
I can’t recommend this company, (and these men) highly enough!

Had a pipe burst at a bar in the middle of the night when we wanted to be sleeping! Raymond from The Good Guys picked up right away and was there within 30 minutes! He quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem for a fair price. Being in construction and having dealt with a lot of these guys we were super impressed! I used them based on a recommendation from a friend. I had tried to use the outside water and was getter little pressure. When going into the basement, I found water all over the floor. They came out to check and have me two ballparks, one for not having to tear out my finished basement and the other for needing to tear up things. They said they would try to fix first without additional damage. We low and behold they managed to fix the issue without tearing out any of my finished basement. They were clean and had great attention to explanation and detail to fixing the issue. He even made sure he got me a spicket cap to prevent freezing in the future. I liked them so much, I had him also replace a kitchen faucet for me.

Had the good guys back out tonight for an emergency service. Very quickly. Kitchen sink backing up after Xmas eve dinner. Terrible experience while having family over. Good guys were discreet through the whole process. They did a fantastic job like last time.
