Meet the Manager

Dr. Iris A. S.

Manager

A native of Berlin, Germany, Iris received her medical degree at Freie Universitat and her Ph. D.,(summa cum laude) in neuroscience at Charite University Medicine Berlin. She completed her residency in general and plastic surgery at The University of Chicago Medical Center. Dr. Seitz received additional training in reconstructive microsurgery and craniofacial surgery, with an emphasis on facial nerve disorders, functional muscle transfers, peripheral nerve surgery, and pediatric plastic surgery at internationally renowned medical centers in Europe, Taiwan, Canada, and Israel.

Dr. Seitz has authored and co-​authored numerous scientific manuscripts and presented her work nationally and internationally. Her clinical interests include complex microsurgical reconstruction of the face, focusing on facial paralysis, complex facial deformities (children and adults), and aesthetic surgery of the face and body. Dr. Seitz is fluent in German and conversational Swedish and French.
