We are licensed by the State of Illinois to perform Inspections and Radon Testing.

I have over 30 years of construction background, have personally performed over 7,000 home inspections. I am an ICC (International Code Council) Certified Building Inspector (which is rare among private home inspectors). I also serve the city of Park Ridge, IL as a substitute Structural and HVAC inspector. Our inspections meet and exceed state and professional standards. We work on hand held computers. The typed inspection report is printed on-​site and given to you at the end of the inspection An electronic (pdf) version of the inspection report is emailed to you at the end of the day.

History

Established in 1990.

We started as a Rehab/​Remodeling company in the late 1980’s. In early 1990 we began performing home inspections as a sideline to the remodeling business. 1992 the company was incorporated under the name of Century Construction and Remodeling, Inc. In late 1993 we stopped doing rehab and remodeling. We changed the corporate name to Goril Professional Services, Inc. and began inspecting homes full-​time. In early 1994 we purchased an AmeriSpec franchise and operated under that name until the end of 2008. With the end of our franchise agreement with AmeriSpec, Inc. we changed our name to InspectChicago Home Inspection Service. Officially we are Goril Professional Services, Inc. d/​b/​a InspectChicago Home Inspection Service.
