*I was surprised to see such a negative review from another «customer.» I’ve always been given a receipt w/​itemized pricing and my items were always ready when promised.

I read the response from the business, and while I understand you did what any business should do– respond to the dissatisfaction or complaint of the customer, I found your response not helpful to me and condescending. None of your service costs were explained, itemized or detailed on the receipt. Also, my coworkers also agreed that $ 74 was still astronomical. Several of them were literally shocked. It also doesn’t help that the dresses fit awkwardly in the end, so I have not and will not be wearing them. This was an unfortunate response for me as a customer, and an even real apology was not offered for even the one thing I think you could absolutely accept responsibility for — not even having them done 8 days later which was a day after you said they would be done. I didn’t mind waiting but if you want to really be professional in your response, perhaps having services done when you say would be something to adhere to. I would ask for a refund or partial refund, but since this was completely my misunderstanding, I will go somewhere else where my complaint could actually matter if I ever had one.

I had a neutral color trench coat that had a bad spill on it all over since last New Year. I was a bit afraid of taking it to any cleaner because of my past experiences from other cleaners. I was worried of it getting ruined or the color of the coat fading and for the stains to still be there. As I was searching for a good cleaners, I came upon this place and figured to give it a try based off some reviews. Let me tell you… when I went to pick it up I was nervous BUT my coat was flawless! Color was the same and absolutely NO stains anywhere. Also, the owners are nice ppl! They want to make sure you are satisfied with their work! It is a bit pricey but it is worth their work. I found myself a new cleaners!

I came in with a badly water damaged sportcoat. Thomas, the owner, was unsure if the white marks were mineral stains or if the fabric actually bled its color. The only guarantee he could offer was that he would do his best to clean the jacket. He quoted a very fair price for the cleaning relative to the low cost of the jacket and the extent of the damage. When I picked up the sportcoat it looked brand new, perfect! My family has been using Highland Square Cleaners ever since we moved the Morton Grove and I will undoubtedly keep using them for all my dry cleaning and tailoring needs.

Suzy and Thomas are friendly and always recognize you by name. They do a great job accommodating your needs and addressing your questions. Their service is amazing and prices are fair. Suzy does a great job with alterations too!

I agree with all of the above reviews. Tom and Suzy are both wonderful and very friendly all the time. They are the only cleaners I trust with my clothes. I’ve had many negative experiences with other dry cleaners in the past. But never here. And Suzy’s tailoring skills are amazing! I can trust her to make anything I buy fit me well. And they can always get things done in a rush for me if needed. I recently moved out of the area but will drive the extra 15 minutes to still go to them!

Awesome job awesome owner’s. Had my wife’s wedding dress cleaned and boxed for storage and was extremely excited and very happy with the care and effort put into the presentation. Final product look like something out of Cinderella. Beautifully displayed in box. Highly recommend you use them for all your needs.

When I lived in MG I came here for all my dry cleaning needs. Tom and Susie are super nice, remembered my name after my second visit. Their prices are fair, they never ruined any of my clothes and if I needed something done in a rush they could accommodate. Wished I still lived close by but sadly I dont, still looking for a comparable dry cleaners in my new location.

Been going here for all my tailoring and dry cleaning needs for awhile. I’ve had some not great experiences with other tailors but now that I’ve found this place my search is over. Great service, expert tailoring, and as a bonus Thomas and Suzy are always super friendly.

I live in Denver but had returned back to Morton Grove the week prior to my wedding. Since we had to travel cross country with a packed car, I did not get my dress pressed and cleaned in advance. Thomas was able to press and clean my dress in 3 days and he did an amazing job and him and his wife were so friendly and welcoming. My wedding ended up being in Michigan and the dress traveled beautifully from Illinois. I would recommend Highland Square Cleaners in a heart beat.

Sue and Tom are the best. We never have to worry about our clothes, they treat them as if they were their own. Professional, friendly and a worry-​free experience. We’ve been with them for four years. Alterations are great. Always on time. Highly recommend it.

I have been going to Highland Square cleaners for more than 10 years now. The owners Tommy and Suzy are the nicest and most personable couple I have ever seen running a business together. No matter what, you are always greeted with big smiles and warm personalities. It’s almost impossible not to sit for at least five or 10 minutes and chat.
Suzy’s tailoring skills are expert level and exceed your average service of «we shorten pants» that most dry cleaners offer. I fall into the extreme end of being petite and have never bought an item of clothing that didn’t need to be altered in some way. Suzy is always able to take whatever I bought off the rack and make it look like it was made just to fit me. On several occasions when coming to pick stuff up Suzy will have me try an item on and then she’ll keep it to tweak the fit in some way. The level of personal service is above and beyond, and you can tell that Suzy really takes pride in her work.
The dry cleaning services are great and the prices are on par with similar businesses. For dry cleaning I am always given my price upfront. While I can’t always be quoted a price for my alterations on the spot (because my clothes often need a little extra), I am always given an estimate that is pretty close to the total.
Regardless of what suburb I have moved to over the years or what dry cleaner may be closer to me, I always come to Highland Square Cleaners for their genuine friendless and exceptional level of service!
