Store employees appear rude, and could benefit from customer service training. No items I was really looking for, here.

This is a great place to score deals on gently used, nice clothes. Last week, I walked out with a Calvin Klein work dress, and a like-new Gap button down for 6 dollars. Everything is color coded, which makes finding things easier.(If, like me, you frequent thrift stores for costume needs for plays/dances, the color coding is a great time saver)

1) Donation location is easily accessible unlike the other locations that I have been to. 2) The staff handling the donation are friendly.

The staff here is rude, slow, and 95% of the time they can be found chatting around the bins or in the back. It’s really unfortunate that I have to write such a negative review because this location generally has a great selection. Problem is, they have an even better selection that they’re stashing for themselves and their friends. I recently saw one of the managers, 2 employees, and even the utility worker setting out goods for their friends/family. We’re talking designer pillows, new name brand clothing with tags, etc. None of these goods were marked up in price the way they usually are for the rest of us. They told the rest of us customers that we had to wait for them to put out carts and racks of goods, while they openly wheeled them off to the people they knew. I waited 20 minutes for one rack to be put up and the second I stepped out, the cashier allowed one of her friends to go through it — she rushed her the second she saw me coming back. The items I did manage to grab suddenly had to be «reprocessed» in the back and came back suddenly with high prices marked in sharpie… could these people be more obvious? The staff openly discussed what they were doing amongst each other in front of me, presumably because they assumed I didn’t speak english. I can’t imagine these practices are allowed among GCF employees, or even legal for that matter! I’m contacting Goodwill corporate ASAP

I love thrift stores. I love Goodwill. But for some reason, Goodwills around here organize their clothes by COLOR not SIZE. WTF? In addition, one of the cashiers in this location was completely rude to me when I went in recently, looking for a bookshelf. They also don’t have carts. And I have a baby, so its either shop there and constantly putting my baby’s carseat on the ground, or don’t shop there. And so I choose not to shop there.

This store is clean and neat. There is rarely too many people there which is nice. Most goodwill stores are packed with people and hard to navigate though the isles. My only complaint about the place is that they use permanent marker to show the price on housewares, paintings, and many other things. I bought a real nice set of dishes and each one has the price written on the bottom that I can’t get off.

This Goodwill store is a great place to find bargains. It is clean(doesn’t smell!), well-organized, and has plenty of parking. There’s a wide selection of clothing and household items, all at the standard Goodwill prices(thrift shop cheap). Unlike other Goodwill stores in the area, this one actually has enough stalls for people to try on clothes without having to wait for hours. I’ve never been much of a thrift store shopper(too much hunting for few finds in my size/color/style), but I always find something worth buying in this store(even a nearly new Talbot’s dress for $ 4).

This is a pretty new and clean/tidy GCF store. I’ve donated in the past, but I had the hankering for a deal and decided to stop by after work. The interior is pretty typical with 2 fitting rooms, stuff for men, women and children and a variety of home-goods. Note: you have to pay with cash or an NC check(I swear I will get checks in this state eventually. I only moved 6 years ago…) There is an ATM at the gas station across the street if you forgot money or are too lazy to obtain checks from NC. I bought 2 dresses for $ 9.80, and you really can’t beat that. They had some nice winter coats, decent shoes and jeans galore.

I think this is a pretty new Goodwill location and its fantastic. The store is clean, well organized, very cheap, and filled with great stuff. I picked up a beautiful wool sports coat for $ 8, hard to beat that! Everything is priced flat, which is really nice. There are some great finds to be had here. Highly recommended!
