History

Established in 2010.

With 22 years of flooring experience behind him, Mike Nelson decided to expanded his business in 2010, with the addition of product sales and service. Carolina In Home Flooring is a «full service» company, with the convenience of a mobile showroom full of samples to bring directly to our customers home, experienced installers and a maintenance division for continual carpet cleaning.

His goal for his company is to surround himself with positive, motivated people to help him provide not only quality products, but quality service, before and after the sale.

Business Owner

Mike is a native of Wisconsin, and moved to North Carolina in 1996. He has always enjoyed working with his hands, taking things apart and putting them together again. He started in the flooring business in 1989, at the age of 24, after being encouraged by his uncle to attend the Armstrong Vinyl School. Here he found a passion for flooring.

Mike has perfected his trade over the past 25 years with the additional knowledge and experience of installing hardwood and laminate floors. He is a very motivated person who knows the importance of balance in life. Truth, family, hard work and fun can best describe Mike’s life philosophy.
