History

Established in 1984.

Ozzie Dzelil purchased Maria’s Ristorante & Pizzeria in 1984. He has extensive restaurant experience and a tremendous commitment to bring to our customers quality food at an affordable price. The business constantly strives to change and improve in order to bring to our customers the quality they have come to expect from Maria’s Ristorante and Pizzeria. In December of 1999, Maria’s was proud to announce the opening of our new Banquet Room and the addition of a full service bar. The beautifully decorative banquet room is a facility for 35 – 100 people. We have been able to provide the room for Business meetings, Wedding receptions and Rehearsal dinners, Pizza Parties, and many types of celebrations. We have several package deals and will also custom plan your menu. We are proud to provide a banquet coordinator that will help plan any event to ensure the customers complete satisfaction.

For the past 20 years I have been at Maria’s Ristorante and Pizzeria. I pride myself in customer service and make a commitment to all who dine at Maria’s to make your dining experience memorable with great food and superb service. We insist upon serving you the finest, Classic American and Italian Cuisine prepared with only the freshest of ingredients. Our Pizzas have consistently been voted the Best Pizza in Grundy County. I also provide personal service to anyone planning a party in our Banquet Room or On-​Site Catering. Let me help plan your next special event.
