Beware!!! Posting a bad review on this page will lead to harassment and threats to be sued! I hired the owner, Daniel Zaiss, to fix a plumbing issue. He came out and made me feel quite uncomfortable from a females stand point, but fixed the issue nonetheless. I made the sorry mistake of hiring him several times after, only to be harassed by his wife! Now, upon posting a review, his CHILDREN began to contact me via social media as well as the continued harassment from his wife. His business partner, I can only assume, has now taken to emailing me as well. Stating he has my IP address tracked and will be following through with legal action against me. I HIRED THESE PEOPLE FOR A JOB THAT THEY DID POORLY. My original review was that I would be hiring another plumber next time I needed a job well done, and I will adhere to that! In my opinion, the job they did was not worth the amount paid! Watch out! They had my first review removed as it was too short and my second review they threatened me so I had removed it. Update: Now they call this third false! It all speaks for itself!

Came out on time. Diagnosed the issues very quickly. Gave us solutions that were cost-​effective. We will definitely use him again.

Wow–
I called Pros Plumbing and they were able to come out the same day when I would be home. They quickly diagnosed my problem the TWO times I’ve used them. Dan was the technician who helped me out and he was professional, experienced and I would definitely call them the next time I need to. They were also extremely fair in their billing.
I also try to use local services and Pros Plumbing did not let me down.

Excellent service! We had an issue with a tankless water heater that no one in the area would touch. Pro’s Plumbing not only agreed to come out and take to look to see if they could help but they quickly and efficiantly diagnosed the problem and made the repair for us. They were very friendly, patient and professional and best of all we felt like we could trust them in our home. We highly recommend Pro’s and they will be our go-​to in the future!

Following my post, I did hear back from Michael who was able to provide a fresh invoice and refunded the additional amount that had been wrongly charged initially.

Just an update to this review. So someone named Daniel contacted me to discuss the original review where the company ripped us off. I told Daniel my experience and why I left the review. I invited him to look at my other reviews to show I am not a serial negative reviewer like some people on here. He acted like he cares so I gave him my honest feedback and why I felt it was important to let others know when they were looking for a company to hire. He offered to refund me and apologized. Great I thought. This company realized their mistake and wanted to make it good. Well that was 3 months ago and counting. I have heard multiple excuses such as the check was sent to the wrong address… to all of a sudden he doesn’t know if it was sent. Nothing but empty promises. I really have been patient… I really wanted to come back on here and tell everyone they cared to make it right. But this just shows me that they just don’t care and don’t value customers. I would be weary of the 5 star ratings on here. My whole experience with this company has been terrible. I mean why the hell contact me and lie about making things right. That’s like a double whammy. First you rip me off and then you lie to me for over 3 months. Lol come on. You can’t run a business like this and expect to survive. Plumbers are a dime a dozen and what sets you apart from everyone else is being a fair honest company and treating customers right. Stay away from this company

What fast service! I called Pros Plumbing at about 8:15am this morning — they said they could be out around 11:30, but they were knocking on my door within the hour. They came in, assessed my issue with my clogged kitchen sink, suggested jetting the pipes to get a thorough cleaning and voila — my sink was unclogged in about 30 minutes.
They also suggested that I use the $ 100 off coupon from Unilocal which was great — thank you!

Despite the reply of the business owner and promise of refund of $ 65.00, as of today no refund has been received from Pro’s Plumbing. I would caution all potential customers, buyer beware here. Another RED FLAG.
I will compliment Pros Plumbing on their phone etiquette, they answer the phone and make appointments and follow up, so for that my kudos.
Once they arrive is when the shenanigans begins.
Within the past week I had a outdoor water pipe spring a leak coming from the main. It required a replacement as it was patched once earlier. The two plumbers measured and advised I needed 80 feet of copper pipe and a couple of elbows plus labor, estimated at 2 – 4 hours. The quote was $ 2,500.00 to do the job.
I was taken aback by the quote and advised them that I would have to get another quote and then the price started to drop, first a couple hundred and then to $ 2,100.00 if I chose to have them do it right then. I was charged a $ 65.00 service fee for the visit but it was money well spent.
I went online to Home Depot and looked up 1″ copper pipe which is $ 12.97 per 10 feet, giving them the benefit of the doubt, I calculated 100 feet which would be 10 pieces or $ 130.00 more or less for all the pipe plus labor to install, which they estimated at 2 – 4 hours. How the quote arrived at $ 2,500.00 I have no idea, other than these folks are crooks. I asked them how much to repair and the plumber said $ 500 – 600.00 for a repair. That is when the conversation ended.
I obtained a second quote from another local plumber the same day (Saturday) and doing the work that Pros quoted for $ 2500.00 plus fixing another problem for me on another pipe was $ 635.00 total. I would have been gouged $ 1,900.00 from an unethical plumber had I not said no and got another quote.
I would recommend RUNNING away from these folks, don’t walk and hold onto your wallets when running away. Be warned and to Pros Plumbing, as Jim Harbaugh recently tweeted about the 49ers, «Don’t be deceived, you shall reap what you sow.»

My wife family stays in this area for 15 years. I just used Pros Plumbing & Rooter to replace an 11 year old water heater in one of my rental properties in Morgan Hill. My whole experience with this company was professional from start to finish.
I had called 3 plumbers for estimates, and Pros Plumbing was actually in the middle as far as price goes. What really made me go with them though was their communication (which is very important to me sense I couldn’t be on site with them), professionalism and their extensive warranty. They were even able to send me an invoice to my email for me to read and sign.
The job took about 3 hours and my tenants described Kory and his helper as very friendly. If you’re looking for a good plumber I highly recommend these guys.

I called Pros Plumbing after about 4 or 5 different plumbers had come out to my elderly parents house to try to clear a plugged kitchen sink. Even the head of the Morgan Hill sewer thought the pipes would have to be dug up and something repaired. Dan came out and talked to us about hydro-​jetting. I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure it would work, but his explanation made sense about the high pressure water clearing the line completely.
We gave him the ok, and he went ahead, spent about an hour doing his thing at my parents sink, and voila! It worked like a charm. It’s now been a few weeks (all the other plumber’s «clears» lasted max 2 days) and she has had no issues! On top of that, Dan was very kind, and is obviously good to elderly people. He was tidy, on time, and super nice. What else is there?
They are coming out to my house tomorrow to clear a minor block for me — because why use anyone else?

I was impressed and delighted with the service I received by Pros Plumbing! Cory came in and looked at my toilet which was leaking and told that it was a very easy fix. What a huge relief! Plus, he didn’t try to charge me an exorbitant fee for walking in the door which has been my experience with two previous companies. I did, however, have another problem in the kitchen. The water in the garbage disposal sink was bubbling up in the adjoining sink! So Mike came in and quickly figured out the problem. He took care of it in a timely manner and advised me that it was not a good idea to put food in the disposal in the future. As a matter of fact, it was never a good idea to put food in a garbage disposal! Interesting!
I had purchased the $ 100.00 deal for $ 50.00 so the final charge was very reasonable! I have definitely found my plumbing company forever! Cory and Mike were very pleasant and efficient, and the price was right. Thank you!

Great job, friendly people. Saved us from cold showers and came out late Saturday afternoon. Had the foresight to ask after the make/​model and serial number of our water heater right away so they had the parts. You’d be surprised how many companies come out and have to leave to go get parts. Overall 5-​star experience.

I am beyond satisfied with my experience with Pros Plumbing & Rooter. To be honest, I was starting to wonder if I was ever going to get my problem fixed after I tried calling two other plumbers in the area that couldn’t even diagnose the problem properly.
I will admit, I was a bit skeptical about calling this company because of the mixed reviews, but I decided to just give them a try and i’m glad I did. My call was answered by Michael who was very friendly, and pleasant to talk to. He scheduled an appointment for me the next day and said the plumber coming out would be Kory.
Kory showed up right on time and he was super friendly. I showed him the problem I was having and he immediately knew what was wrong! I was so surprised, because up to this point I had only heard run arounds, and never a sold answer. He even showed me pictures of recent jobs he has done that were smiler to this, and he showed me how he was able to preserve a lot of the area around it because it requires a bit of cutting into the wall. Kory didn’t seemed fazed by this though. He reassured me that by the time he was done with the job that it would look better than what it did before. Just take a look at the pictures and see for your self just how awesome these guys are!

I came home to a leaking water heater inside my condominium. It was after normal business hours, so I knew it may be difficult to get a plumber out right away. Cheryl answered my call and was very helpful with my situation. She sent Kory to my house immediately. He was very professional, handed me his business card at the door, spoke with expert plumbing knowledge, and advised me on replacing my rusted out water heater.
The price Kory quoted was higher than I anticipated, and he admitted the company is not the cheapest. He offered for me to seek a second quote from another company, but I decided to sign the contract and have Kory return first thing the next morning to replace my water heater. After Kory left, I remembered seeing a «20% off to online customers» banner at the top of the company’s website. I called Cheryl to inquire about receiving the discount. She did not hesitate and assured me that Kory would honor the 20% off discount.
Kory and Mike arrived promptly the next morning to remove and replace my water heater. They took extra care to protect my tile flooring while removing and replacing the water heater. Their expert skills, use of top quality products, and honoring of the 20% discount have provided me with reassurance I made the right choice in choosing Pros Plumbing and Rooter.

DO NOT CALL !
This guy quoted $ 625 for a 45 min job ! Oh, he also wanted the $ 65 for ‘just showing up’ to give me the over priced quote.
I called my trust worthy and honest ’ other plumber’, who cut the pipe, and re-​glued a piece on,
45 mins — job done.
This company took advantage of me. Never call out a workman who collects money for just giving you a quote. Rule #1.

After a quick hiccup with the main receptionist was resolved by Michael, all was perfect. Both Michaels (both employees had the same name) were professional and courteous. They explained everything thoroughly and I will now be recommending them in the future. Great job and good luck continuing your local family business for generations to come!

I called Pros Plumbing last minute to see if I could get a service call scheduled for that day because my water heater had developed a leak and I no longer had running hot water in my house. My call was answered and I was able to get an appointment at 6pm which was perfect because that when I usually am home from work. Dan arrived at my place on time and he looked over the water heater. He made a few evaluations and came to the conclusion that I should get it replaced. Dan’s quote for the water heater was very reasonable and he labeled out what everything costs on his end so I could see and feel comfortable about my transaction. When it come to the actual work he was in and out within 3 hours.
Overall, Dan was very friendly and seemed upfront and honest. I would only recommend Pros Plumbing and Rooter if you’re looking for a good plumber.

I can highly recommend the family based firm of Pros-​Plumbing as they were very professional and efficient.
Initial contact:
When I called to discuss my non-​standard sewerage system and the challenges that it presented (120′+ between the rodding point and the city sewer) their receptionist/​dispatcher knew exactly what I needed (the ability to run one drum of cable then add a second drum). They quoted me a price for the call out and said that they would discussed the actual costs once they had seen the system (I though this was completely fair since who knows what is down there!) so we scheduled an appointment for later that morning.
The appointment:
Dan and Mike turned up at the scheduled time, reviewed the sewer access and discussed every aspect of the costs (including the charge for adding a second drum to the machine — which they had brought, always nice when folks turn up with ALL the equipment they needed!). We agreed the price and they started work.
The work:
It was obvious that Dan and Mike knew what they were doing and set about the task with gusto, the first 100′ of 15/​16″ cable and its cutter were down in no time at all and then came the task of swapping the drums. You HAVE to see it to understand why they charge extra for it, even though the professional quality machines make it «easy» the weights involved are not trivial, its seriously back breaking work.
With the second drum attached it was back to business and 20′ later they hit the roots blocking the sewer, through careful manipulation of the machine and some general grunt work pulling on the cable they had the blockage cleared and the drains flowing again (what a wonderful sound it is to hear your drain clear!).
The clean up and painful part:
Getting the second drum wound up and off was just as back breaking as putting it on but they had it all out and cleaned away in no time… and the painful bit. well it was not that painful, since they were so efficient the totally cost was VERY reasonable.
Summary:
Nice to find a professional business who can not only do what they say they can but can do it quickly and effectively.

My water bill was double and after a water audit with our water company they informed me that I had a water leak somewhere though she couldn’t tell where. I called Dan after a recommendation from a good friend. I received a call back from their dispatcher and was set up with an appointment for the next day. Rick and an apprentice came out and spent 2+ hours looking for a leak with no luck. He said he would have to run air through the pipes to see where this leak was coming from. At the end of the inspection, with no resolution I was charged $ 365. I called another plumber and he diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes. It was a faulty sprinkler, and it cost me $ 60. I understand they spent the time looking for the issue and that costs money, but to charge me such a huge amount of money with no resolution when it was a simple fix is just incompetence. Do not recommend.

Life saver! My water heater busted. Water spraying everywhere. They fixed the problem, and didn’t tell me I had to buy new one, tho I’m sure we will soon cause it is old. Liked they were able to fix my problem and did not give me a crazy bill. service was great. Price was good. Work has been perfect! No more problems. Very reliable.

I had a leak from my refrigerator at midnight, so I looked for an ²⁴⁄₇ plumber and came across Pros Plumbing. They (she) answered the phone around 12:30am and was very sweet and talked me through getting my water turned off for the night. I still needed the repair, so I called back the next morning (Saturday) and she was able to send someone quickly. Rick called and showed up as promised. He did a great job and made sure to show me how to take care of turning off the water in several different places, so that I would not have this issue again. I appreciated the time he spent «teaching» me for my own piece of mind. He took care of the job, no problem. $ 95 just for the service call seems a little high, but in the end, it worked out.

Disappointed. They came out and mis-​diagnosed a leak that I had and then wanted to charge an arm and a leg to get it fixed. I went with someone else that properly diagnosed for ¹⁄₃ the cost.

I had what I thought was a plugged toilet, but my traditional «plunger» method to clear the plug didn’t work. I even used a snake I had in the garage, but I couldn’t find where the plug was. Soon the shower drain started to back up and when I went under the house I found that all the drain lines were full and one was dripping. I soon learned why…
I quickly went to the cleanout in the front of the house, opened it and out spilled exactly what you’d expect. Not a pretty picture. A neighbor said he had a similar experience and that he was certain my sewer line was plugged by a tree root or something similar. He recommended a plumber in Gilroy (initials are E.P.) whom I called immediately. They could come out, but since it was evening (6 PM?) they would charge an additional $ 100 per hour for the call. I told them I’d wait until morning to avoid the additional fee.
Then I looked online and found Pros Plumbing and was impressed that they responded to their reviewers. I called them and spoke to Cheryl. She was friendly and accommodating, answering all my questions. The fee for Pros was the same for day or evening, which I liked, but the fee was higher than E.P. She explained, however, that they would waive the «camera/​scope» fee and that the other outfit my neighbor recommended (E.P.) probably wouldn’t. I couldn’t find out about E.P. until the morning, so I waited overnight. E.P. called in the morning and told me that their camera fee was separate and, as it turned out, even higher than the total fee from Pros Plumbing. I called Cheryl at Pros and asked them to send Dan over. In 45 minutes, he was at my door.
Dan and his assistant Mike were very accommodating too, answering all my questions as they did their work. As it turned out, they couldn’t find a plug in my line and confirmed with their equipment that the plug was in the city sewer. They told me who to call and even after putting away their equipment, they waited to talk to the city supervisor (Art) before heading on to their next emergency.
What I liked:
1. Their quoted price, though it hit me as sticker shock initially, turned out to be a very good deal.
2. They explained what they did as they did it.
3. When the project was out of their hands (city problem), they told me precisely what to do.
4. They stayed late just to talk to the city crew.
All in all I felt like I was dealing with pros that care about their work and take pride in it. I’d recommend Dan and ProsPlumbing in a heartbeat.

On Monday we had an emergency water heater leak that needed to be fixed by replacing the whole unit. Dan came out late at night and showed up after a long days work with a great smile on his face, even though he was there to only give an assessment. While he was checking out the leaky mess we ran by our idea of eventually switching over to a tankless water heater. He said hes installed several of them and has a crew of employees that he works with.
The next day he came by with his electrician Rick to take a look and wanted to make sure our panel can handle the new appliance and make plans for wiring and access points, etc. (all throughout this time he never mentioned any $ 59 payment that another Unilocaler said. I’m not sure what that’s about)
After talking it over we decided switching to tankless now was the best course of action considering the existing unit cannot be salvaged (and getting worse by the hour). We set up a work date of Friday and Rick started out the job early with the electrical portion of the job.
Next came Dan and Mike and all three of them worked diligently through the day. They were all courteous, professional, easy to talk to. To make their job easier the night before my husband and I removed the old water heater and cleared out as much as we could to make access points for under the room. That was a good idea, it allowed the guys to just get on with the fun stuff and saved us a bit of money: o)
Long story short (too late!): They did a great job from start to finish in just a few days time and we will definitely be working with them in the future. We have plans to slap in another bathroom and will be using their expertise in the next few years!

*STAY AWAY! 0 Stars! 1. deceitful 2. overpriced 3. will upsell you. This company will charge you a $ 59 fee just for evaluation. This fee is not waived once you agree on the job. Also will upsell you on a procedure you probably don’t need. I called this company based on the good reviews. I was greeted by the dispatcher who turns out to be the owner/plumber’s mother. I was told about the $ 59 eval fee. When the plumber arrived he immediately tells me I need to have the high pressure wash done. The job would cost $ 315. We agreed on the price and I told him i would cut a check for $ 315. Once the job was done he charges me $ 374! For less than an hour’s work. He would not waive the eval charge even though we agreed on $ 315. The workorder says he ran in to obstruction at 79 feet. Later on my landlord shows me the plumbing lines and after measurements saw that anything past 40 feet would have been at a wide diameter plumbing area where no obstruction that would make it past the gargbage disposal should have gotten stuck. 40 feet worth of piping should have been at least attempted with the lower cost snaking procedure. Hindsight is always 20/​20, but a snaking procedure would have cost me $ 130 at Roto Rooters, instead i get duped for $ 374.

I wanted someone to look at a leaky toilet and possible floor/​ceiling damage at a rental property, and my usual handyman was not available. The nice thing about these guys was that I was able to get a response right away and also a time estimate of when they could show up. Although I called them on a particularly busy day, they were still willing to come out and check the damage no matter how late it was and they kept me updated on the time because the previous jobs were taking longer than expected. I probably called about 4 other plumbers/​handy-​people to no avail or extremely delayed responses, so these guys were it.
Talked to both Dan and Michael, and they were both extremely friendly and accommodating. Dan gave me an estimate of the damage, and also was very willing to work with our usual handyman in order to make the job cheaper. Though we haven’t decided what to do yet, these guys get 4 stars for service, response, and friendliness.
