:(Is this place closed, moved, or as another reviewer said only able to sell to businesses now? One star because I called the phone number (no answer) and hunted for insight on their website and facebook page after driving in circles for 10 minutes.

I was very excited when I found this place on Unilocal.Unfortunately, they no longer are able to sell directly to consumers and only sell to businesses now.

This place is a LIFE SAVER! Thank you for coming to Morgan Hill!!! You need to advertise more because people don’t know you are here and this tore is a GEM of a Healthy eating right store!

Thank goodness this place is here. I was driving all the way to Whole Foods on Blossom Hill before I found PnP via Unilocal.Tons of gluten free items and my hubs loves the raw milk! The people here are always so nice and helpful. They carry Argan Oil for my skin which has absolutely changed the way I moisturize.
Well worth the visit!

Forgot to make a run to Whole Foods or Rainbow Grocery to stock up on snacks before you left the city on a road trip down the 101? No worries, just jump off the highway a bit and visit this place.
Nothing special, just your standard «health» goods. It’d be nice if they had more produce though.

If Whole Foods had a non-​pretentious, more reasonable younger sister, it would be People and Planet!
This was our first time here so we walked through the front door, past the reception desk, down the hallway past some small rooms to get to the marketplace. But now we know, there is a back entrance that leads directly to the goodies.
Lots of all natural, vegan friendly, and gluten free foods. Many things you would typically see at Whole Foods but for more affordable prices. And if you are a first time shopper, you get a 10% discount!
Goodies bought include: a rice milk chocolate candy bar, a box of coffee flavored quinoa cookies, a natural energy boosting ginger drink and an all natural sarsaparilla. If I was at Whole Foods, this would probably cost us $ 15 – 18 and the BF would rant about how healthy food cost more. But we only spent $ 11 and some change. Sure, there was the 10% discount but even without it, the price doesn’t push you into debt the way Whole Foods does.
Also, I need to give props to the staff for being so friendly and helpful! They truly made us feel welcome in a town where we felt out of place.

SO glad that I finally made my way in here! A couple of people told me how great it was and they were right. I really like the selection of gluten free and vegetarian items here. They also have a whole little room dedicated to supplements and an area with make up and skin care. Everyone working in this store is so kind and friendly, and so helpful since it was my first time in there. Sadly, I can’t remember the name of the kind woman I spoke to first, but she showed me around the store a little and explained where different things were and was really personable. The owner even took the time to show me the different entrances and exits after I told him that I had tried to visit the store before but found it a little confusing at first. (You can go in the back door that is directly across from Specialized bicycles, or go through the front and walk past the desk– you’ll be confused at first because it doesn’t look like your typical food store in the front… but keep going. You won’t be disappointed!)
Very organized, clean and not cluttered and overwhelming and I don’t have to go all the way to SJ to Whole Foods :)
I’m so happy the MH has a place like this, although I think it’s going to be dangerous for my wallet ;) It’s really cool and I’ll definitely be back!

I just found People and Planet again after several years. They have moved into a much larger warehouse type space, but it is clean, well-​organized and they have a great selection of products.
They have everything from meatless meats, dairy-​free cheeses, ice creams and milks to make-​up and supplements. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised that they carried a lot of products that I usually go up to San Jose for.
I was pleasantly surprised that once we mentioned that we hadn’t been in their store in years, that we were given a «tour» of where everything was in the store and they pointed out what their favorite items were.
As anyone knows who buys good health food, you will pay a little more. However, Mike, the owner, is super nice and gave me a 10% discount for being a new customer.
I will definitely be going back again on a regular basis for our healthier food options.

I’m pretty down with this place. I work in Morgan Hill and driving to San Jose to go to Whole Foods is just too much work some days. If you’re on the paleo diet, give this place a look; they have things I haven’t been able to find at Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods. I was in my lunch break and had limited time inside the store but within that time I was pretty stoked on their selection of items. I will definitely be back.

Definitely not what I expected!
Stopped off to pick up some Beyond Meat (faux chicken strips) for my friend. This store is in a business park and it’s quite nice inside. Nothing like what you’d expect in a wholesome foods store. Spacious, well appointed, organized and nicely lit.
Their products tend to be the less perishable kind: dry goods, frozen foods, paper products, spices, supplements, etc. They have a nice selection to choose from and the prices are pretty reasonable.
If you’re a fan of Beyond Meat, I know they can order in larger quantities for those who go through a lot. The staff here were very friendly and they knew my friend by name. That’s impressive! They even offered to start a tab for him, instead of having me pay.
This place is definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. We stopped off after wine tasting locally. What a gem and a rare find in Morgan Hill!

Have been there twice already, planning to go again soon. Takes a good 45 mins to drive down, but it’s worth it. Specially like emphasis on gluten free and vegetarian food.
They will special order anything. Special ordered some vegan chick’n strips for me — and price ends up being less than Whole Foods. Good market and good people working there.

Absolutely my fave grocer in Morgan Hill! I have major food allergies and cannot believe that I have a wonderful store that helps me live allergy free! Keep up the great work. The staff and owner are very knowledgeable and friendly. There is always someone around to answer questions and help you to your car. The owner Mike is great, if you don’t see something you would like them to carry you can always ask him to see if he can get it and he will let you know right away if he can carry it. Fantastic crew and thanks for setting up shop in Morgan Hill.

People and Planet is excellent on so many levels; not only is there an amazing selection of unique, ‘good for the world/​you’ goods, but Mike (owner) is willing to find any whole food /​Fair Trade /​GF product you’ve ever heard of. I always find a new treasure and learn something healthful and ethical in the food world when I visit. This store and staff walks their talk. Anyone working there is always kind and helpful. I love this place and what they’re doing — pay them a visit (or many)!
PS Their selection of GF and Fair Trade food is impressive — bigger than many big heath food chains.

Every town should have a store like People & Planet! This is by far my favorite place to shop for food & supplements as well as cleaning supplies, etc. They have an amazing selection of gluten free, local, organic, fair trade & Eco-​friendly products. Mike & the entire staff are incredibly knowledgeable & super friendly. Since the store expanded it has gotten even better. My kids love going there & of course they are always kid friendly. This store is a gem, truly part of the community. I could talk about tea & chocolate all day with Mike, but then neither one of us would get any work done! Even if you have to travel a ways to get there, it’s totally worth the trip!

In general, I don’t tend to buy super organic or eco-​friendly products because I’m at this point in my life where I’m more concerned about the cost of the item than the impact it has on our environment unfortunately, but if I was going to be super green I would shop here all the time rather than every once in a while. They have a surprisingly large selection of items to choose from from food products to household necessities.
Also, the people that work there are really nice. I think it was the owner who gave me a sample of really amazing chocolate. Btw, Equal Exchange chocolate is unrivaled.

Simply put… Gluten Free Heaven! I am so glad I found this place. I felt very welcome, and the staff was very helpful. Not to mention 10% off as a first time buyer! HIGHLY RECOMENDED! I will be a regular here

Talk about knowledgable and friendly! They also have a great selection and wonderful selections on how to make these specialty and allergen free foods work well within a normal diet. Needing gluten free/​dairy free/​and soy free, our needs are quite particular — and they can meet them! If they dont have an item, they order it for you. We are so pleased that they are there for us. Not the easiest place to find at first but just call and they will help you get there — — once you visit the first time you will return. Thank you Mike for opening this store! it is a true blessing!

Mike the owner, is a local for 25+ years and has his roots in fair trade business before he started the store. You can tell his conscious effort in bringing in the best product– not just for it’s quality or taste, but the holistic value that quality products bring to the community that produces it and consumes it. You can be sure you are voting with your dollar that you demand better products that places high value on human and natural resources.
There’s a wide selection of Organic natural beauty product, health supplements, essential oil, personal health and hygiene products, tea and coffee, sugar, natural sugar substitutes, honey, superfood jam, raw nut spread, can food, chocolates, cocoa nibs, dressing, pasta, flour (more variety than I can comprehend), in the frig you’ll find organic tea, raw milk, eggs, yogurt, butter, apples, Kombucha, Kefir, household cleaning supply, dry seeds for your garden, and 4+ full shelves of gluten free products (pizza crust, cake, brownie, bread mix etc). Ever since a friend was found to be gluten intolerant, I’m always on the look out for gluten free products. Well… I think we just hit jackpot!
Mike explained that he began carrying gluten free products per requests of nearby Company’s employees and selection grew over the years per people’s recommendations and products with raving reviews were added to the shelves.
