Called weeks ago for a small rental request needed. Was only finally Emailed after calling and giving my email address 2 different time. Every time spoke with julie. A few days later I finally get an email. On the same day March 23 I respond with asking how to pay the deposit to hold the items needed for my party and to date I have never heard back. 4÷7÷16 So I guess they don’t want my business.
If they don’t take small orders then they should have told me that from the start and not send me an estimate and told me they could do it. Other companies I called were very up front and said there was a minimum order, however julie did not state this and again sent me a quote.
I will not be trying to follow up with this.

OMG, not sure how I ever threw a party without this amazing team! Rental rates and items are great, excellent quality and value, delivery and pick up awesome, and the servers that were there on the night we hosted 125 of our closest friends and my clients… wow! Truly a terrific professional operation and we already booked for this years event!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Julie and her staff! So incredibly kind and helpful, very quick to get back to you and the most professional of all our suppliers. We use them regularly for all our company events, they are so incredibly accommodating. I highly recommend!

Super disappointed. Sent a request for a quote on a few items for a backyard birthday party. Received an estimate almost immediately. Responded with «Yes, let’s confirm this arrangement for Sat.» never heard back. Emailed again. nothing. Called, no answer. Left a voicemail. No response. Emailed again, and called again & again and got no answer. Left another voicemail, it’s now the day before the event and I still haven’t heard a THING and don’t know if they plan to show up or not. Had to scramble around to find tables & chairs from different companies hours before the party because I relied on this company to get back to me and wasted days awaiting their response. Very poor customer service. Maybe my job was «too small for them (4 tables and 30 chairs) but it would’ve been nice if they at least responded and told me that they couldn’t do it. Unbelievable.

BEWARE! By far the worst vendor we worked with for the wedding! The first time meeting them, they showed up 15 minutes late and when she finally arrived, instead of introducing herself they walked right passed me and started complaining about not being able to find her keys. That should have been the first sign of failure. Communication is absolutely horrible! Everytime I tried to call they would complain the computers were down and they couldn’t help me. Luckily, they had me work with a new lady named Melinda. Having Melinda on their crew was probably the best decision they made.
I told them I wanted my delivery early Thursday before my wedding Saturday. I had to remind them over and over again on the delivery date and when that Thursday came I had to call them again and they still didn’t have the correct day of delivery time eventhough it literally said it right on the invoice. They ended up showing up extremely late that day and didn’t even have all of the things I ordered. They promised they would be there the next day with the rest of my stuff but when Friday delivery came they had delivered me all the wrong runners and told me they no longer had the ones I ordered. why didn’t I find this out before hand!!! Luckily, again for Melinda because she personally found the correct runners and delivered them to me in time.
Now here I am an hour before leaving for our honeymoon when they call complaining that we didn’t return all of their glasses and we owe them a bunch of money because of it. Which is fine, but to offer me zero help in paying for them after all the stress they put me in is just ridiculous.
This company is a complete nightmare, please please please rethink your decision on hiring this company for your event!

THIS IS HANDS DOWN THE WORST COMPANY THAT I HAVE EVER DONE BUSINESS WITH!
Julie, the owner, is completely unreliable and totally unprofessional. She has no integrity, nor does she have any concept of customer service.
Over the past 4 months that I had to deal with her, Julie missed appointments, failed to return phone calls, failed to provide me with updated invoices and WASTED HOURS OF MY TIME.
I have thrown many parties over the past 15+ years and have used several party rental companies without incident. Having moved to Morgan Hill last summer, I decided to use a local company when planning my daughter’s college graduation party. I met with Julie in late January, and she was as sweet as could be, all smiles and charm. She gushed all over me and even offered me a job. She assured me that she had the Tiffany Blue linens that I needed and that my party would beautiful. I bought what she was selling and placed my order then and there. Let the B.S. begin…
*I dropped by a few weeks later wanting to see the blue swatch that I had picked out at our initial meeting. Imagine my HORROR when Julie couldn’t recall which swatch that it was and handed me a teal swatch instead! What would have happened if I hadn’t come by that day? Would they have delivered teal colored linens instead? I told Julie that I was very nervous about my order now. She smiled and assured me that my party was going to be perfect. Needless to say, I was very nervous about the color of my linens and I told Julie so. We then set up an appointment to meet the following week, at which time I would provide Julie with a swatch of my own to keep in my file.
*I called the day of our swatch appointment, just to confirm that she would show up and her husband answered the phone and explained that Julie wasn’t going to be in the office that day (!)
(In hindsight, I should’ve cancelled my order right then and gone with another company. I can’t for the life of me understand why I kept giving this woman chances…)
*I called Julie at her office a few weeks later, wanting to pay for my rentals IN FULL, IN CASH. She assured me that she was at her office so I told her that I would stop by the ATM and be there in 15 minutes. I arrived at her office 15 minutes later and Julie was nowhere to be found. SHE KNEW THAT I WAS ON THE WAY TO GIVE HER MONEY AND SHE STILL LEFT! I couldn’t believe it. Her son who was there, told me that she stepped out for a few minutes but would be right back. Well, she didn’t come right back. Instead, I waited in her office for a good 20 minutes until she returned. When she did return, I asked her what was up and why would she leave when she knew I was on my way WITH MONEY?!? Julie gave me some B.S. answer, took my payment and told me that she would email me my updated invoice reflecting my payment WHICH SHE NEVER DID… not even after I emailed her and called her, requesting that she send it. I actually didn’t get the updated invoice until the week before my event, when Melinda (Julie’s new hire) kindly provided it to me.
*Fast-​forward to the day before my daughter’s party: DELIVERY DAY. The delivery crew showed up on time and were very professional as well as patient. And wouldn’t you know… JULIE DID NOT SEND, NOR DID SHE HAVE THE CORRECT TABLE LINEN FOR 1 OF MY TABLES! Julie had 4 months to get me the linens that I had ordered and she still didn’t get them! The result? I had 1 odd looking table at my party. THANK YOU VERY MUCH, JULIE!!!
I credit Melinda for having pulled me out of the fire at the last minute and worked her behind off to help me make last minute changes to my order and to get me the substitutions that I asked for. Thank you, Melinda!!!
I want to end this review with an open letter to Julie:
Julie,
You have ABSOLUTELY NO BUSINESS owning and running a business. The smartest thing you’ve done for your business so far is to hire Melinda. She could teach you A LOT about integrity and customer service. SHAME ON YOU, for making what should have been a very joyful time for me and my family, an incredibly stressful and frustrating one.

If I could give zero stars I would .
I booked tables and chairs with this company a month before my event. I called multiple times to confirm and all three times they had the wrong time, delivery date and items .
I went to the actual location and spoke with the owner/​manager. He wrote down my order, charged us in full and we walked out thinking we were set to go.
Our chairs and tables were supposed to be dropped off between 2 – 5 pm on a Friday evening. I go to call Friday morning to confirm everything (at this point I didn’t trust them), come to find out that they had already dropped off, interrupted a business and class and completely failed with our delivery estimated drop off time.
Then, I call and the receptionist (who was new) had no clue about the issue and had written down the actual pick up time for the drop off time.
Now I don’t know where the communication failed and who failed to communicate effectively but I will say I will never recommend or refer this company to any friend, school or acquaintance .
Pick up time was scheduled for a Monday between 8 – 10 AM. Once again to ensure that the puck up wouldn’t disrupt class.
I get a call at 4 pm that day saying they forgot out pick up. As a business, I don’t understand how you can fail that many times with one task and order? Very concerning .
Horrible service, ride receptionist and poor communication.
I would never refer this business to anyone.

We used Party Rental Outlet to supply and set up décor for my sister’s reception. They did an excellent job and made sure all details and decorations looked perfect.
They also set up for a community event for me two years in a row and provided tables, umbrellas, cotton candy and popcorn machines! Both events went very well and I was happy to use their services!

Julie provided amazing service for my daughter’s wedding. Decorations amazing. I saw julie pitching in every area during the wedding, cleaning up the ceremony, ensuring we were on schedule, even making coffee and tea for my mother.

Myself and a friend are maids of honor in a wedding. We needed to rent tables and chairs for the shower and showed up on a Saturday to pick them up at 9:30 AM. When we got there the doors were locked and lights off. I called the number and a woman, Julie answered and said that no one would be there until 11 and that they’re closed on Saturdays. Wait, so you’re closed or someone will be there at 11? Either way the shower starts at 11 and that won’t work. I also explained to her that their website AND Unilocal says they are open Saturdays from 9 – 1. Her response? «Oooh yeaaa… that’s not… no…» Okaaaay. Then my friend explains to her that she emailed someone making sure our pickup time and date were acceptable and had double checked everything. Julie didn’t seem to believe that someone agreed to allow us to pickup our tables during their posted business hours (shocking I know). Luckily we found another party place on the same street (Ascot) who were able to accommodate us right away so we went with them. BONUS: looking back at the original emails, the person who confirmed our pickup time was JULIE herself. This place seriously needs to get it together.

I am a professional event planner specializing in the corporate, social and religious markets. I have used Party Rental Outlet several times for various events over the years and have very satisfied with the service provided. Julie and her staff is very friendly and professional. The quality of rentals have always been on point and in great condition. Julie understands the event planning business and has been great to work with in assuring my customer’s events went off seamlessly. Kudos to Party Rental Outlet and Staff keep up the great work!

I first called Party Outlet 2 weeks prior to my event to get pricing. No one answered, but they called back within 5 minutes of my call. They asked me to call back at least a week before the event to set the order. So I called back three times 8 days before and 2 times 7 days before, and again two times 5 days before. I left at least 4 messages, and never got a call back. I was very hopeful off of my first encounter with them, but the subsequent lack of response to someone who was willing to place an order if they had simply called back was disheartening. Perhaps their service is good and the supplies are high quality, but I wouldn’t know because I couldn’t get a response.

Fantastic! Every part of our experience with Party Outlet was a pleasure. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would, definitely, rent from Party Outlet again.

I had a wedding on 6÷21÷14 and we used Julie and her team to provide the rental of linens, chairs, tables, heaters, back-​drop panels. Even though we initially enjoyed Julie and her pleasant attitude/​demeanor we were not enjoying how she would be late to scheduled meetings or cancel them. We understand she was trying to work with us on the scheduling but again these were times she confirmed.
On the Friday before the wedding all of the rentals were to be delivered. We were asked what time and we said around 2 but at least before 6. She said the items would be delivered between 2 – 4. At 6:00 we were finally able to reach her, as she says, her phone battery was dead but in the couple of seconds later said she had 12%. She says that they should be delivered at around 7:30 but the chairs would not be delivered until the next day around noon, the wedding was at 6PM.
When items were finally delivered here were the issues.
— 2 wrong size tables
— Linens were two different colors
— Linen for the back drop was the wrong color
— Neither of the heaters worked
— Chairs not there, but when received dirty and some of the seats when you sat down had a puddle fall from them.
Those items were corrected by Saturday, somewhat. There was still a tablecloth with the wrong color because of the availability. And then there were a few of the other table linens with rips/​tears in the fabric.
The panels that were delivered were beautiful, however it happened to be very windy that day and would not stay standing. We couldn’t use two of them.
This was just a very stressful situation for the bride and her family. It would have been nice if Julie, would have been on the ball. I will not use this company again or recommend their service to anyone. I hope Julie will learn from her mistakes, even though not all on her, as the owner/​manager she needs to take responsibility for them all.
Also, Julie made a comment to the Brides father when he called and complained and said that there should be a refund/​discount offered to the bride/​groom. She stated, «they will get whats coming to them» not sure what that will be.
I really do support small businesses and this could be so much more by 1) double-​triple checking to confirm the delivery of the order 2) being on time 3) answering/​calling your client

Party outlet is #1 !! Couldnt have been more happier with the service i recvd from Julie. I had ordered tables, chairs, linen, napkins, Buffet tables and tent for my son’s 1^st B’Day party on 05/​03/​2014. Julie was on top of everything and was following up via emails and phonecalls. Quality of stuff that i ordered was good as well. I just loved the satin linen that i ordered for the round tables and so is the tent. Everything was exactly as I had ordered and ppl were asking me about Tent specifically. Also, the pricing for renting and delivery is great.
Cant imagine using anyone else now, I found a very good place for renting.

Another successful party with the excellent help from Party Outlet!
Ordered tables, chairs & linens for a fall backyard party for 40 people. Julie helped me choose the colors for the linens and our yard was absolutely beautiful! On time delivery, everything was exactly as ordered and the guys that did the pickup even made sure to secure our gate so our dogs were safe.
Can’t imagine ever using anyone else.

This is the first time we’ve used Party Outlet and we are very happy with their service. Not only did Julie go out to find the catering rentals that she did not have at hand, but she was also flexible about when we could pick up and have things delivered. My sister’s wedding was amazing thanks to Party Outlet. Affordable and great service. We’ll be using Party Outlet for future events.

I have used Party Outlet for 3 events now and have never had a problem with them. I’ve rented tables, chairs, glassware, linens, and even decorative pieces. About to do another event and plan to use them again!
I love working with Julie. She is the sweetest, most helpful and easiest person to work with. They have an incredible array of beautiful linens. They pick up and deliver on time. What more can you ask for?

IN RESPONSE TO PARTY RENTAL OUTLET’S COMMENTS BELOW:
Julie,
I would have much rather you called or phoned me almost a year ago when you first learned of my review or shortly after, instead of posting on here almost a year later, and calling me, your business client, a «nightmare». That is frankly, yet again, unprofessional.
Secondly, yes, there were changes to my invoice. HOWEVER, I made those changes within YOUR set deadlines. Yet, you say you weren’t «prepared for this type of situation»? I don’t believe that for a second, especially since my wedding planner and I personally pointed out the changes to you numerous times, again, all changes were made within your deadlines so that you could make the necessary arrangements. Also, if you weren’t feeling «prepared», why didn’t you ever take the initiative to call me for clarification or at least return my phone calls instead of ignoring me for weeks on end and leaving me hanging until only a few days before the wedding? I think you’d agree that this would have cut out your feelings of being unprepared and my anxiety. I never had a problem with other vendors at my wedding, and can only sing of high praises of them.
Speaking of being prepared, you never explained why your associate, Mark, wasn’t prepared at my wedding with the chocolate fountain that I «won» from your raffle. Even after all this mess, and even after speaking with him the day before the wedding about the time he was to show up, he still showed up more than 1 hour later than the agreed time, during the middle of the reception, and snuck out after only one hour later, with no notice or apology.
Third, please do not bring my personal life into this in order to discredit or downplay the stress I felt from this experience; first, the bar exam had nothing to do with my experience with you. For the record, and as I told you, the bar exam was many months after my wedding, and that is why I chose to have my wedding in advance. Moreover, I really don’t feel that you need to publish your client’s personal life all over Unilocal.Period. Again, that is very unprofessional.
Just so you know, I’ve had Unilocalers personally message me during the last year sharing the same sentiments they had with you, so I know that I am not the first, and I certainly am aware that I was not the last based on other reviews on here.
Julie, I really do think that this was a very unfortunate experience, and the way you decided to handle this situation with me via Unilocal is only a further disappointment. I really would like to move forward from here. Honestly, I feel sad that it had to turn out this way.

Working with Party Outlet has been nothing but a stress free experience for both my husband and I. We have now used Party Outlet a total of 3 times for events which includes our own wedding last year.
Every single time we have used Party Outlet, we have had nothing but positive results. Julie and her staff go above and beyond what we needed them to do and ensured that each event we had with them looked amazing. We have constantly received complements from the décor provided by Party Outlet.
As for pricing, they have always been mindful and flexible with accommodating to our budget. They offer very competitive prices and on several occasions, Julie even upgraded our linens for free!
Overall, working with Party Outlet has been something we’ve never regretted. We highly recommend Julie and her staff for any type of even planning and we’ll surely continue to use them for our own events.
