Fresco Solar is a leading solar photovoltaic design build firm with solar systems on some of California’s most prestigious new buildings. Located in the Bay Area, California, Fresco Solar is a Small business enterprise and has been installing Solar PV Systems both large and small since 2005.

Along side working with General Contractors on public and residential installations we are currently involved with many financial organizations such as Pace funded solar, California First, Property assessed Clean Energy & Pace Los Angeles to make solar affordable for property owners throughout California.

Our installations include Solar Rooftop Arrays, Ground Arrays, Solar Carports, and many personalized designed custom arrays. Our goal is to produce the maximum amount of energy for the property owner.

Our installation team is GoSolarSF & NABCEP certified.

History

Established in 2006.

Fresco Solar was founded by three friends in 2008 who wanted to provide the Bay Area with custom, unique, and highly-​efficient solar power arrays for both their homes and businesses.

Meet the Business Owner

Sean K.

Business Owner

Sean has been leading the company since its founding in 2006. He has held senior executive roles at many Silicon Valley companies including Apple, Cyclades [now Avocent], Natsteel Electronics USA [now Flextronics], and Bourns Inc. While at Apple he was Director of Procurement and responsible for a multi-​billion dollar supply chain including all memory and microprocessors. At Bourns his roles included Vice-​President of European Operations and later Vice-​President of Engineering, developing Silicon-​On-​Sapphire sensors for defense applications. Sean worked as a start-​up engineer for General Electric in the early part of his career, commissioning hundreds of megawatts of gas turbine power plant equipment. He holds an honors degree in engineering from the National University of Ireland and is also a California licensed electrical and solar contractor.
