A Family Wine Making Tradition in the Santa Clara Valley Since 1925. Guglielmo Winery — a third generation, family owned winery produces a wide variety of award-winning varietals from more than 100 acres of Santa Clara Valley estate vineyards, as well as from other premium winegrowing regions within California. Today, Guglielmo Winery (gool-yell-mo) produces nearly 40,000 cases annually under three different labels, Guglielmo Private Reserve, TR, and our oldest label, Emile’s. Although the winery has grown, we still abide by the family philosophy to produce natural, quality wines to share with family and friends. The family continues to oversee every phase of the winemaking process. «Wine is a traditional part of our culture and one of life’s simple pleasures to be shared with family and friends.
History
Established in 1925.
A cobblestone piazza and village fountain reminiscent of the family’s Italian Piedmontese homeland greets visitors upon their arrival at Guglielmo Winery.
As one of Northern California’s wine pioneers, the Guglielmo (Gool-YELL-mo) family has been producing wine in the California Santa Clara Valley since it was founded by family patriarch Emilio Guglielmo in 1925.
Today, third generation brothers George, Gene, and Gary keep the family tradition alive by producing award winning premium varietal wines from more than 100 acres of Santa Clara Valley estate vineyards, as well as other premium winegrowing regions within California.
The Guglielmo family is very proud to continue the fine art of winemaking passed down through their family, as well as turning their family home and grounds into a place you will share and enjoy with your family and friends.

Business Owner
The 3Gs, George, Gene, and Gary, share a rich heritage and vision for Guglielmo Winery. George is the Winemaker and President, Gene, the Director of Sales and Gary, the General Manager. All grew up in Morgan Hill and in the house that is now the winery office. All participated in the business in their youth, ultimately becoming the third generation legacy that we know today. With three labels and 50,000 case production, not to mention the private label business, there is plenty to keep the 3Gs busy. If that is not enough, the family has always been active in the community affairs of the South Santa Clara Valley.
